Rrava, Master Forgewright1RWU
Creature - Human Artificer RWU, T, sacrifice an artifact: Search your library for an artifact card with converted mana cost X and put that card onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library. X is equal to the converted mana cost of the artifact sacrificed this way. 2/2
I imagine this being the "poster child" of the precon. I wanted to make her powerful, but not outright broken (looking at you, Arcum Dagsson). In comparison to Arcum, Rrava gives you access to two other colors, but can "only" tutor up things with the same CMC as the sacrificed artifact (the flavor behind this is that she "reforges" it -> conversation of mass). Her ability is also more expensive and the artifact enters the battlefield tapped. However, there is no limitation regarding noncreature artifacts or artifact creatures. Although I tried nerfing the tutoring ability a bit, I still have the feeling that she is pretty strong...

Dwarven Apprentice1R
Creature - Dwarf Artificer T, sacrifice an artifact: Draw a card. There are always more things to learn, more things to try out, more things to explore. 1/2
This is essentially a colorshifted version of Sage of Lat-Nam. Yes, I know, red doesn't usually get outright carddraw ... but the cost requires you to "sacrifice" something else (like you do when you loot in red), so I think its OK. Also, even white getstodrawcards (albeit with special themes going on), so why not red too?
Vedalken Machinist3U
Creature - Vedalken Artificer U, T: Untap target artifact.
Whenever you activate an ability of an artifact you control, untap Vedalken Machinist if the total amount of abilities of artifacts you control you activated this turn is three or a multiple of three. "The cogs are turning! We did it!" 1/3
I wanted to make a card that could enable using abilities multiple times without outright creating an endless loop. The intention here was to have some sort of Voltaic Key that untaps itself upon the 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th (and so on) artifact ability activation in a turn. I'm not sure if the current wording is clear enough...
