Courser's Soul :2mana::symub::symrg:
Creature - Centaur Spirit (U)
~ is unblockable and attacks each turn if able. The storytellers speak of a cunning centaur bandit, who had been sentenced to exile in the darkest realm. But its maimed spirit escaped and knew not constraint nor mercy for its judges.

Sorcery (R)
Target player sacrifices a permanent. Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a card that shares a permanent type with the sacrificed permanent. If you do, put that card onto the battlefield. Put the remaining cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.
Ashstoker :symub::symrg:
Creature - Orc Shaman (C)
When ~ enters the battlefield, add one mana of a color of your choice to your mana pool.
When ~ dies, draw a card. "From a dead blaze springs new flame; from a life completed springs new wisdom"
1/1
Panzoodon :symu::symb::symr::symg:
Creature - Chimera (M)
Discard a creature card: Put a +1/+1 counter on ~ and it becomes a copy of the discarded card until end of turn. "I see. So you have wings today, don't you? And venomous spikes, too? I didn't plan on hunting today anyway."
- Merrik, Azzon big game hunter

River Serpent :2mana::symub::symub::symrg::symrg:
Creature - Serpent (C)
Defender
Sacrifice a land: ~ may attack this turn as though it didn't have defender. No riverbanks can hold this beast in its rage.

(a. k. a. Bloodwater Serpent)
Roaming Gurzarch :symu::symb::symr::symg:
Creature - Beast (U)
When ~ enters the battlefield, you may sacrifice a creature. If you do, distribute a number of +1/+1 counters equal to the sacrificed creature's power among any number of creatures you control. The Azzon jungles devour beasts whole that would be apex predators anywhere else.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

I don't really like how the hybrids are assymetric towards white. My OCD would like it better if they were costed around (U/G)(B/R). Onto the cards.
Courser's Soul: Fit's the color combination greatly. Great uncommon. Ashstoker: Fits the color too. I wonder how it would fit UBRG's theme. River Serpent: This is terrible. Could be in blue's bad-common-fatty slot, but other colors would hate having to use it. Mattershift: Also underpowered. Most of the time it reads "target opponent sacrifices a land and you put a random land from your library onto the battlefield" Panzoodon: This is nice. Reminds me of Scion of the Ur-Dragon which is a fun card. Roaming Guzarch: Fair enough. Not exactly exciting either.

YOU ARE SURPRISED BY A MANTICORE! IT QUICKLY SHREDS YOUR FLESH AND DEVOURS YOU!
I don't really like how the hybrids are assymetric towards white. My OCD would like it better if they were costed around (U/G)(B/R).
They are perfectly symmetric towards white. The colors appear in WUBRG order on the card starting and ending at the point where white is missing i.e. the order of colors is the same as in the nonhybrid costs. If you put an axis through the white mana symbol separating the color pie in two halves you would find the colors of one hybrid symbol on one side of the axis and the colors of the other hybrid symbol on the other side.
How is that not symmetric?
Maybe you just don't have enough OCD.
(I actually considered all three options and find the identical color order in hybrid and nonhybrid card is the most striking argument - also your color order is the only one that would put white's position inside the cost)
Courser's Soul: Fit's the color combination greatly. Great uncommon.
Yay.
Ashstoker: Fits the color too. I wonder how it would fit UBRG's theme.
You and me both. I have a feeling that the theme would be heavy on sacrificing much stuff and an effectively cheap creature that also cantrips on death would be potentially useful as fuel for some kind of combo arising from that.
River Serpent: This is terrible. Could be in blue's bad-common-fatty slot, but other colors would hate having to use it.
I wanted it to be a common fatty fitting the bill. I thought a Serpent variant would be well-placed and a considerable blocker to overcome in Limited. Otherwise I'd probably go for a 6/4 or 6/5 vanilla in its place.
Vanillas though don't make for good showcase cards.
Mattershift: Also underpowered. Most of the time it reads "target opponent sacrifices a land and you put a random land from your library onto the battlefield"
Until someone finds a way to abuse Polymorph for any card type.
I was actually worried that it might be too strong giving you a free permanent in addition to Misguided Rage in addition to an alternative mode of Reweave.
Nevertheless I did consider putting on "nonland" and have not made my final decision. Would it be the right call?
Good memory. I actually mentally went through a list of shapeshifters that didn't quite fit the bill. It's actually easier to compare it to some noncreature cards.
Roaming Guzarch: Fair enough. Not exactly exciting either.
Unexciting enough to be common?
Thanks for the insights!
