Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Dominant Thought: Nice, wide variety cramped into small space Why is it six instead of seven cards?
The six over seven is a late changed after I researched the effect and found Drastic Revelation.
I'm not certain drawing actually seven cards would be too hurtful at that cost, so it's more to mix up things.
Road's End: Pretty ownage. Maybe 2 life -- 12 life? 5 x 3 = 15 life?
I thought about changing the numbers. Reducing the punishment to 2 life could be enough at less - giving the Sorin's Vengeance-level of punishment even at the average number of two cards in hand; at the moment of inception I liked the idea that it can kill a "hellbent" player at "full" 20 life.
Take Away: Awesome flavor.
Thanks.
Never Before: Yeah, well...
Another Never Before8U
Sorcery
Draw eight cards.
Well... I was surprised especially since all other numbers from one to seven exist at least somewhere as part of a cards effect - six simply never made it onto a card.
It's similar to the converted mana cost 13 being the one natural number missing all the way up to 16 currently (despite Innistrad); not a big deal, but a notable exception.
I care a little less about numbers that are just "bigger than anything we've seen before".
