New cards. Was thinking about Grave Pact. One of my favorite cards of all time. So I decided to create a cycle off of it.

A. You need to have the rarities...now. Adding them in after-the-fact just screws everything up. Its best to fill up the spaces in your set, then set aside extras for later use and then fill in the cracks.
B. Making cards super-color-heavy makes them nearly impossible to use outside of their color (obviously!) What isn't so obvious is that making cards color have makes them less playable, naturally, thereby making them less fun. See ANY super-color-heavy creature, and tell me if you would enjoy being on the receiving end of it (the most prominent examples are Progenitusand Phyrexian Obliterator.)
