Orb of Izzet5
Artifact
Whenever you cast a red spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's red, deal 3 damage to target creature or player.
Whenever you cast a blue spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's blue, draw a card. Niv-Mizzet's knowledge flows within.
Book of Dimir3
Artifact
Whenever you cast a blue spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's blue, put the top 5 cards of target players library into his or her graveyard.
Whenever you cast a black spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's black, target player discards a card. Szadek's teachings are inked inside.
Helm of Boros3
Artifact
Whenever you cast a red spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's red, you may destroy target artifact.
Whenever you cast a white spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's white, you may destroy target enchantment. Razia's justice forever shines.
Tombstone of Golgari4
Artifact
When you cast a black spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's black, you may return target creature from your graveyard to your hand.
When you cast a green spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's green, search your library for a basic land and put it into your hand. Savra's corruption seeps outward
War horn of Gruul2
Artifact
Whenever you cast a green spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's green, you may give target creature +2/+2 until end of turn.
Whenever you cast a red spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's red, you may give target creature +2/+0 and first strike until end of turn. Borborygmos' fury is the only sound it makes.
More will show up over time when I have some free time.
I agree with Piet. Making it look for the same color card as the spell simply makes it a good card to put in any deck running one of the guild's colors as its main color. By forcing it to look at the other color of the guild, you get a sense that it's linking the guild's power, giving you a benefit for siding with that guild.

While this is true, it seems like a very forced design. If this didn't have the name izzet on it, I would never even consider switching the triggers. Even with the Izzet flavor, switching the two triggers seems like it's needlessly pushing the guild, which the card already does a fine job of doing.
You don't want to create artificial limits just for fun. I would make the triggers line up because it allows either color to run it on it's own.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
updated the thread to include all guild artifacts I come up with, so I dont spam the forum. Also added another artifact
Helm of Boros4
Artifact
Whenever you cast a red spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's red, you may destroy target artifact.
Whenever you cast a white spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's white, you may destroy target enchantment. Razia's justice forever shines.
..and one more for the night
Tombstone of Golgari4
Artifact
When you cast a black spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's black, you may return target creature from your graveyard to your hand.
When you cast a green spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's green, put a 1/1 green insect token onto the battlefield Savra's corruption seeps outward.
In response to your last post in the other thread, I think tapping stuff (possibly Frost titan style) is a better fourth effect than library manipulation if you want to reduce overlap. Counterspells could technically work, but feel pretty odd for this sort of trigger.
On the new ones:
Helm of boros has cool triggers, probably okay at 3.
I really like the tombstone as is.
Edit: Just for reference, I'm going to list various possibilities for the remaining colors.
In response to what color should be triggered, I agree that red spells should look for red cards, and blue for blue. The switch (in my opinion) is the triggered effect.
Orb of Izzet5
Artifact
Whenever you cast a red spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's red, draw a card.
Whenever you cast a blue spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's blue, Orb of Izzet deals 3 damage to target creature or player. Niv-Mizzet's knowledge flows within.
This way, it doesn't force a multicolor deck functionally, but rather flavorfully.
I'm a proud member of the Online Campaign for Real English. If you believe in capital letters, correct spelling, and good sentence structure, then copy this into your signature.
Simplify all of them by making it one trigger? Slight Functional difference: only triggers once when you cast spell that's red and blue, and you can get the blue effect after casting a red spell.
Whenever you cast a red or blue spell, you may reveal the top card of your library. If it's Red, deal 3 damage to up to one target creature or player. If it's blue, draw a card.
I think that the cycle should be a bit tighter. ie, they should all cost the same amount and be named Orb of X. This might necessitate some numbers changing.
I'd also suggest adding a booby-prize to the effect, such as "you may put that card on the bottom of your library." or something that the guild would like.

I have to strongly disagree here. Its already obvious that this is a cycle with an artifact meant for each guild, simply because of the names. Making everything an Orb arbitrarily serves only to whittle down flavor. I mean, what the hell would the Boros want with an orb? Sure, you can hit people with it, but it'll probably break and then there'd be a lot of paperwork coming in from the Azorius and, honestly, who really wants to deal with all of that? Besides, there's a helmet over here that does the same thing AND I can wear it into combat.

- Golgari should get land grab, Selesnya should get that 1/1 token (or two).
- Drop the boros one to 2
- Drop Izzet to 4, and burn for 2 instead
- Drop Dimir to 4 mill, and change it to discard a card. Rakdos can get some black pump spell instead as they are more aggressive.
- Make these legendary
- Switch the color revealing thing, it encourage people to play within guilds.

I agree with a few of those things, other than switching the color reveal. People who play these will already be playing within the guilds colors, they don't need any more encouragement. I mean, would you run the Orb of Izzet in a UW control deck??

This is probably the best idea I've heard here. Certainly powers them down in the right ways and up in the right ways. Still feels like it wants to be put in a guild specific deck, but could be played in mono colored decks effectively still.
