A pretty nice idea i got from a previous thread:
Unscouted Landscape
Land
If ~ enters the battlefield, exile it instead and put a basic land card you own from outside the game onto the battlefield.
Sounds strange doesnt it ?
This way you play this card pretty much as a "proxy" for a basic land in your sideboard.
This also means that you can only play as many of this card as you actual have basic lands in your sideboard, so use 5 basic lands and you can choose every color, but thats quite a drawback to "waste" 5 sideboard slots isnt it ?
Right now "outside the game" isnt equal to the exile, so theirs no way to increase the amount of basics.
However, thats only true for Tournaments, in Limited it is just the "super land" like in pretty much any casual format, unless you forbidd Sideboards or "outside the game" cards in some way.
You think this could be a form of drawback ?
At least it seems to be one in my view.
So whats your feeling about this concept ?
Drawback or not drawback enough ?

Some more ideas to use the "outside the game" (aka Sideboard) more as an actual zone that matters in a singel game rather than the match.

Put a random card from outside the game you own into your hand.

Shuffle all cards you own into your library. Replace any number of cards in your library with an equal amount of cards from outside the game you own. Draw seven cards.
*Might be something like "Research" before the exile change, just more extrem and a cheap draw 7 especially for type 1.

Name a card. You may look at the cards from outside the game your opponents own and play all cards with the choosen name until end of turn.
*With the limit to 15 this might work quite well, however it gets somehow annoying with an endless card pool.

When ~ enters the battlefield, choose a card from outside the game you own. Each player names a card, then reveal your card. If its the named card, put it into your graveyard, otherwise put it into your hand.
4/4
*Might have a reason that you actual name the card yourself you want, as you need it in the graveyard, and i think its just more funny if you can name a card to "bluff" your opponent.

As ~ enters the battlefield, for each opponent, choose a card from outside the game that player owns.
If you would lose the game, instead reveal a card choosen with ~ and play it without paying its manacost and you can't lose the game until the end of your turn.
*A very wacky card that is ment to be very random. If you would lose, it will keep you alive until your turn ends and if you reveal something really awesome you can use it to kill your opponent with it. Might be quite cool to use your opponents sideboards against them.
The random and the blue cards are unprintable due to the existence of formats without sideboards (mostly casually, but still). Your blue one for example: Shuffle your entire collection into your library.

Yea why not ?
Nothing prevents me from playing a "deck" with my entire collection ^^
For Limited i think you can just use your sideboard, the other cards you dont play, i am not sure if you could grab a box full of basic lands.
However, im skeptical if that alone is a reason to make it "unprintable", the comp rulez might need an extra line that you must be capable to "shuffle" your deck in a timely manner, which naturally limits the amount of cards allready.
*At least thats a reason for Battle of the Wits decks in Paper Magic, searching and shuffling takes so much time that the deck is considered "unplayable" for Tournaments and you will get tons of Warnings just for that as you are unable to shuffle a 300+ card deck pretty much every turn and multiple times a turn.
**The deck is pretty much full of tutors and shuffling, a real nightmare in paper magic, its simply "allways" somehow stacked and not randomized.
Unscouted Landscape
Land
If ~ enters the battlefield, exile it instead and put a basic land card you own from outside the game onto the battlefield.
Keep in mind that this card wont trigger landfall 2 times, as the land drop is instantly "replaced" with the basic land, it will not really enter the battlefield at all, "instead" the basic land will.
World End Machine is hilarious, you lose and all you have to save you is that plains they were side-board splashing off Unscouted Landscape
Yes if it works out this way the card is pretty much just a really bad Angels Grace.
But in Multiplayer you get a card from each opponent, so that might keep you alive for some time and you get potentially broken cards for free, if theirs Emrakul in sideboards or something like that.
Its not that peops have just useless crap in sideboards ^^ , especially as that might change if the sideboard has an extra use (and yes i really enjoyed "Wishboards").

Shuffle any number of cards you own from outside the game into your library.
Draw a card.
More on the line of "Research" and better in Limited as its less extrem.
However, maybe the problem of an infinited amount of cards could be changed if its simply limited to 15, which is the amount of sideboard cards anyway.

Shuffle up to 15 cards you own from outside the game into your library.
Draw a card.
Could be a pretty annoying card for Limited, as its a "counter" to mill decks, and if you can mill yourself, it will give you 15 fresh cards to draw.
With a mechanic like "dredge" and self mill i could really see this card be quite good.
In worst case you can play "fat" creatures in your sideboard and shuffle them in for the late late game, which prevents you at least from drawing them early.
