EDIT: Posted more cards on 4th post.
Here are some cards, ignore the flavor for now, because it's something specific I'm working on.
Dragon Pirate2UBR
Creature - Dragon Pirate
Flying, First strike
Whenever ~ deals first strike damage to a player, you gain control of target creature that player controls until end of turn. If you do, put it into combat tapped and attacking.
2/4
Does this work rules-wise???
Smashy Ape3GG
Creature - Ape 2GG: Destroy target artifact. ~ gets +3/+3 until end of turn.
4/4
Too good? What if had a once a turn clause?
Timid Apparition2B
Creature - Spirit
Flying
~ can't block.
~ can't attack unless defending play controls no untapped creatures.
3/2
Would it be pushing it to make it a 4/1 or making it a 3/1 for 1B?
Peek-a-Boo Fairy1U
Creature - Fairy
Flying
T: For each card in target players hand, that player pays 1 or reveals it.
1/2
Lastly for now:
Mean Guy4BB
Creature - Demon
Whenever damage would be dealt to ~, instead put that many -1/-1 counters on target creature.
4/4
5cmc for a 4/4 that can destroy artifacts AND pump?
way I see it, what if you printed a card that was just:
spirit of the smashy ape
2gg
instant
destroy target artifact. target creature get's +3/+3
THAT is a good card by itself. in general, when you put an effect on a creature, you have to tone it down or increase the cost.
Mean Guy -- broken. combine this with Pestilence and ... you're broken. you should make it combat damage that puts -1/-1 counters on the creature that dealt it damage, and remove the instead clause.
Dragon Pirate = Really cool ability, there. My only complaint is that 2/4 is small for a Dragon. Maybe it could be like an airship or a wizard riding a drake or something.
Smashy Ape = Nah, it's fine. 2GG is a lot, and it's situational. I like that he has to have artifacts to destroy if you want him to hulk out.
Timid Apparition = Sounds more like a blue card to me, overall, but I like it in any case. I don't think 3/1 for 1B would be pushing it, but it's fine enough as-is.
Peekaboo Fairy = I like this. It's something different, at least.
Mean Guy = I'd probably lose the "instead" part.
Hmmm, got conflicting responses about the power levels of 'Mean Guy' and 'Smashy Ape'.
To 2GG: I think 'Spirit of the Smashy Ape' would probably be a pretty horrible spell, unless sideboarded in against an artifact deck. A Naturalize that can't hit Enchantments with a Giant Growth tacked on, for 2GG(lol at the coincidence in your name), doesn't seem good to me because you have to have the artifact to destroy in order to play it for the pump, making it a dead card a lot of the time, depending on the format. My Smashy Ape can might be brutal on occasion, but I don't think it's unprintably broken. Would like others opinions though. And as for Mean Guy, I will probably add the 'combat damage,' but will probably leave the 'instead,' or maybe just make him a 5/5 and drop the 'instead'.
To Scuirimancer: Do you think the Dragon Pirate would be balanced with the same cost and ability but a bigger body? My Timid Apparition is black for flavor reasons that I don't want to quite yet disclose, as they might skew objective judgment of the power of the cards.
Overall, I'm happy with this batch, I will probably make the Smashy Ape's ability once per turn, and I will change Mean Guy's ability in someway. When I reveal the flavor of the cards, I hope you will LOLIRL.
EDIT: Here are some more cards - Kudos to anyone who can make the connection between all the cards sans there real intended names and flavore
A-maze-in Grove
Land
A-maze-in Grove enters the field tapped.

Crazy Straws1GG
Creature - Scarecrow

Crazy Straws has shroud as long as you control a fairy.
2/2
Dashy Ape1RG
Creautre - Ape
Haste
You may sacrifice an artifact with converted mana cost 3 or greater instead of paying for ~'s mana cost.
