First off I just did two conspiracy drafts and I must say, the format is a ton of fun. The decks can get out of hand really really fast.
U/W Flyers is a legitimate deck. In both my 4 player games I had an opponent get a pretty ridiculous U/W decks that exploded out of the gate really really fast. problem is they become an immediate target. I went U/G group hug first game and the u/w player saw that I had a ton of mana ramp out, and killed me on turn five. Problem was, other players saw that an immediately went for him and he was the second player out.
Mono Red is a legitimate deck as well, and can get Insanely out of hand. Second game had a Mono red player win the pod because he was able to keep the u/w player in check by making it so nobody could attack with more than one creature, or block with more than one creature. At the same time he was dropping 18/18's and 8/8's left and right.
I pretty much think though that any color is playable. I will however mention that a ton of people got milled out today, and from my experience 40 card multiplayer games are often times not enough cards. I would mostly likely from now on go 50 cards, because the games can go significantly longer.
Also Explorations, Stifle's, Reflecting pools, misderections were getting cracked left and right but out of three boxes not a single Dack Fayden was cracked.

Yea, those are MTG Bars. What can I say, I am a dork
Not midnight release just drafted it in my normal FNM timeslot (although not sanctioned), time zones!!
We split into groups of 4 that were then put into pods of 8.
We had new players.. as in never drafted before new players that called the colours by thier symbols.. oddly. they were not in the game group because that would of been bad at least. the draft was very slow and required us helping and explaining to them how to draft and build thier decks. we weren't playing against them it wasn't so bad.
First pick first pack Stifle... ok thats my money back. Second pick Advantageous Proclamation I picked a lot of blue draw cards as well as whatever black removal I saw namely tyrant's choice but I lacked win cons. when the pack wheeled it was clear that blue and black were heavily drafted so I had to take a white card. Magister of Worth ok... esper it is. I kept trying to get the land cyclers but there was always a better card in the pack. I got some nice win cons jetting glasskite and air servant. Third pack Paliano, the High City or Reya dawnbringer.. I needed the fixing so I took the land somehow manage to get my opponents to pick the exact colours of my deck Yay. Still couldn't get land cyclers I desperately wanted. but got a reito lantern as not to die to mill again better with shuffle.
Ok the game... UW flyiers tokens, Five colour green, Me with esper control and B/W control. I started the game by brainstorming twice and stifling a sakura tribe eldar, whats is this legacy?. Before me and the UW fliers got into a battle in the skies. Mizzio preperations on a courier hawk is great value :). A few boardwipes later we got horribly boardstalled by a pristine angel out of B/W control. The green player tried to go wide but was beaten down by all the flyiers when his spiritmonger came out. I got an Air servant out and just tapped down all the flyiers on board to try to bait the Angel into attacking someone that wasn't me. I waited... and waited and waited...no one wanted to make a move because they would be killed by the other Deathreap Ritual almost milled out the green player with all his tribe eldars. The green player slamed into the B/W player. Leaving himself completely open he had found a reito lantern to combo with his Grenzo used it to flash in a flyier but I tapped it and they died to the angel 3 left. U/W tried to end the B/W dominance in return dropping it all the way to 1.
B/W had pristine angel on 1 , U/W had three flyiers and 3 life. I was horribly flooded but with an air servent and courier hawk sitting on 7. I just kept tapping down the U/W flyiers to bait the angel and continued to draw lands. I poked U/W down to 1 with my courier hawk (with a +1/+1 counter). B/W revealed that they had tragic slip so I just took his angel hit.. 1,1 and 3. B/W plays Phage the untouchable but they are still dead.
I tapped down the U/W fliers. Now I have victory on board. I draw... Magister of Worth the card I have been waiting all game for... lucky for me I have an extra vote and a conspiracy to give it haste... but I already have the win. I swing to win... B/W Swords to plowshares on his phage to gain 5 life to try to kill me with his angel. U/W uses misdirection to kill the one flier I sent his way. since the B/W players angel will kill my air servant that would give him victory... if not for the Magister of Worth in my hand which I play U/W draws a bounce spell and I recast the angel.. then bricks... I won a Magister of Worth with a Magister of Worth.
I think the game was made worse by us being all good players used to playing multiplayer that we knew when to just bide our time... pristine angel didn't help argh just made the game stop. Red was massively underdrafted and blue over drafted perhaps it was just my friend group haha. There seemed to be a ton of flyiers to go around but perhaps it was the newer players in the draft underestimating them. So many brainstorms.. brainstorm at common seem wonky for how good it is. there were a lot of cards for which it is easy to get a lot of them. I think Tyrant's choice is really underrated I took and played three of them.
Altar of Dementia - As far as I know, two were opened, and each milled someone out (normally the last of two players). Muzzio's Agenda (chosen creatures enter with +1/+1 counter)
Underperformed:
Agent of Acquisitions -- Used him to get a single additional card when there were 6 left in the last pack after picking him P1P1.

Some facts of magic:
-Terror is an emotion which, when experienced, results in death.
-The pox was a disease notorious for having killed one-third, rounded up, of Europe’s population. Smallpox, on the other hand, killed only a single person.
-A person riding a horse cannot be stopped by foot soldiers, large animals, walls, archers, or even catapults.
Had a really interesting unsanctioned draft tonight at the store (same store as Narvuntien, but I was at a different table). Ignoring the fact that I pulled a gorgeous foil Reflecting Pool:
I drafted the "Lizard Warrior" deck. It wasn't as nutty as I wanted, but even just one Brago's Favor and one Secret Summoning was enough to be really good with five Lizard Warriors. And in a strange twist of fate, my neighbor's Lore Seeker gave me a Hall of Triumph from a Journey Into Nyx pack...so that was sweet. I backed it up with card draw, permission, some fliers, and a couple of Vent Sentinels (I had originally intended to use my Conspiracies on those guys, but didn't end up with enough of them). It came close, but wasn't quite enough to push through.
The second player in our pool drafted a Red/Black troll deck that didn't do much other than repeatedly boardwipe. And Grenzo's Cutthroat, which obviously was going to attack every turn for kicks.
One of the winners of our two games drafted a green/black deck based around morbid triggers and abusing Grudge Keeper. That card turned out to be very good, especially in multiples. When he had two of those guys out on the field, every Will of the Council vote suddenly became excruciatingly difficult. He also had a Spiritmonger, so...that helped.
The other winner did the standard UW fliers deck. Chunky defenders on the ground, fliers in the air. He basically just turtled up and pecked people to death. Nothing flashy, but it got there. Council's Judgement turned out to be a really interesting exercise in politics. And the white gravedigger was really good - guys, that thing flies!

It's not your job to win games of Magic where you're mana screwed.
It's your job win every game of Magic where you're not.
During drafting, you have to have a different mind set. Draft to multiplayer. I went GB with huge green fatties and 2-for-1 cards. Skeletal Scrying was MVP
I first-picked Edric, Spymaster of Trest and proceeded to be fed a nice selection of green and blue cards, along with a 4th pick Altar of Dementia. $12 draft roughly paid for. Second pack I ripped a Pristine Angel and slammed it without hesitation. A few picks later I was handed a Realm Seekers! Guess I cut green well. Blue dried up a bit but green was flowing, and by the end of the draft I had added a Pelakka Wurm, 2 Sakura-Tribe Elders, and some more decent green & white filler. The plan was to go G/W splashing U for Edric & Wind Dancer to get my tons of fatties into the air.
(I had opened a Worldknit in my 3rd pack and was really tempted to try it, but I had some serious chaff that I didn't want to risk playing with.)
I won the roll with Bant, and play proceeded to the guy playing Worldknit (!!!), a great defenders deck, and finally another deck.
The Worldknit deck came out slow with nothing more than a Guardian Zendikon and a landcycle until I cast the huge Realm Seekers. He promptly cloned it with Dack's Duplicate and used haste with the Dethrone to grow it to 25/25 and beyond!
The two massive Realm Seekers put and into chump block mode. Once they started attacking I continued to add a steady stream of creatures to my field including Edric and Galvanic Juggernaut. Edric got people fishing for cards, and attackers managed to slip through on just about everyone but me. Worldknit and took most of the lumps, and the later threatened to kill the former with his Vent Sentinel. Traveler's Cloak on the Duplicate and a potentially lethal attack at prompted the Silverchase Fox to activate, and another chump. We weren't out of the woods yet as Worldknit added Wind Dancer and Air Servant to the board. His life total was low but he still threatened to KO anyone once he could use that Wind Dancer. thought he'd be safe to go fishing with his only flying blocker, and tried to politic another turn out of Worldknit. He wasn't having it, and the flying Duplicate knocked out of the game. Flamewright could've killed the Wind Dancer before the untap, but it felt like was trying to jockey for time and an exactsies Vent Sentinel kill on Worldknit, and just let it go too long.
Worldknit managed to deal with my Sporecap Spider and my own Wind Dancer, and I was next on the hit list for his gigantic flying Duplicate despite me buffing my life total with a Pelakka Wurm. I would've had way beyond lethal on him if I could've gotten 1 more turn, and in hindsight I was definitely too friendly with my attacks over the course of the game in regard to Worldknit. eventually put up a good fight with more creatures, including a Pelakka Wurm of her own as well as 2 Moment of Heroism to buff her life total, but Worldknit rode that Duplicate to a complete table kill!
I was a little remorseful about not being more aggressive against the Worldknit deck, but otherwise I was very happy with my build, and the other players kept commenting about how I just didn't stop vomiting dudes into play. My other regret is not playing one or two of the 3 copies of Stasis Cell in my SB. I would've liked another answer to that flying Duplicate. Also, guess what that 1 card I bottomed off the Lead the Stampede was? Yup, Plummet. El oh el!
Drafting, conspiracies, and multiplayer gameplay is a breath of fresh air from the past 9 months of Theros block. After playing in my pod and getting to check out some of the gameplay at the other tables I agree with the observations so far: ground stalls and chump blocking are rampant, and any deck trying to fill the air with fliers is going to be a big threat and an even bigger target. I didn't get to see much gameplay with the black and red cards as I only got up to observe other games once after our match finished. Games seemed to have ended before us due to fliers or were stalled out with 2 or 3 players with huge boards full of green and white creatures. The last match to end was absurd - a Selvala, Explorer Returned deck stalled out against another deck with an Altar of Dementia. The guy with Altar kicked a Wolfbriar Elemental for a huge amount and fed the tokens to the Altar for the win. I wonder if these fatty & flier decks are going to be what rises to the surface in this format...
Altar of dementia killed me and u/w player at the same time but because we had an upkeep to leave the game when he tried to siphon and deal the last 2 dmg to the mono red player the u/w flyer guy swords the mono reds 18/18 sonthe mono red player would gain 18 life. The mono red player then blew up his artfact that made it so he was allowed to attack with more than oe creature and swung for 47 to yhe altar of dementia player who had no blockers because he sacked his board to kill the u/w player and myself

Yea, those are MTG Bars. What can I say, I am a dork
I did two midnight drafts. In the first one, I first picked Scourge of the Throne and made a R/W Defenders deck. At some point in the draft I got Worldknit and tried to make that work (it doesn't work). Luckily I had a god 40 card deck to fall back on.
The games were three player games against G/U Tempo/rmp with Deathrenderand a few fat guys and Junk with lot of Grudge keepers. I had Power Play so I always went first. The first game I tried Worldknit and it was awful, I never really drew things I wanted. I lost that game pretty bad. The 2nd game I drew the Dragon and it dealt insane amounts of damage by itself. I also put a Power of Fire on Galvanic Juggernaut. Junk guy played Reign of the Pit and U/G guy copied it, which gave me a ton of untap triggers for Juggernaut an I pinged the Junk guy to death. The dragon finished off U/G guy (The dragon is totally nuts and can easily swing for 15-20 damage a turn). The third game I got Flamewright + Vent Sentinel and sat back on that. Later in the game I cast Ignition Team as an 18/18, then cast Boldwyr Intimidator. It turns out Ignition Team is a Warrior.
In the second draft I first picked Aether Searcher then followed it with Cogwork Grinder and made a U/B deck. Somewhere in the draft I picked up a Conspiracy to make the Aether Searcher cost one less and a Conspiracy to give the Grinder haste. It ended up being a 15/15, so there were only 4 cards in my card pool not in my deck.
I played against b/w with multiple Twisted Abominations and R/g with double Fires of Yavimaya and Altar of Dementia (a card I opened and should have taken). It ended up going to 4 games, but I won two of them with a 15/15 haste with multiple ways to recur him and a couple of ways to give him evasion.
Cards that Overperformed:
Cogwork Grinder: Holy hell this card is disgusting. In the first draft an opponent cast it as a 12/12. It is sooo big. Galvanic Juggernaut: Turns out a colorless 5/5 for 4 that basically has vigilance is still good. Traveler's Cloak: Unblockable to at least one opponent, cantrip? Evasion is exactly what wins in this format and this card is a powerhouse. Especially good on 15/15s. Wish I had two. Altar of Dementia: opponent had it, but it turns you into a kingmaker and makes it so no one ever wants to kill you or your creatures, because you can literally just kill someone in one turn. Vent sentinel: R/W defenders is real and it is fun. Twisted Abomination A regenerating blocker that hits your opponent for a quarter of his life is good. Also Swampcycling, I guess. Tyrant's Choice: A subtle card, but one that gets you a lot of value.
most conspiracies were also really good, with one flagrant exception.
Underperformers:
Worldknit: I thought it might be interesting. but it's not. Putting the last 2-3 crappy picks into your deck and playing a 65 card deck does NOT make up for getting mana of any color. If you do decide to go down that road, make sure not to make any of your lands Islands or Swamps, since there are multikicker dudes with landwalk. Victimize: It was okay, and let me resurrect Cogwork Grinder in a pinch, but I don't think U/B was really the right place for it.
Everything else I played with was good.

The Worldknit deck came out slow with nothing more than a Guardian Zendikon and a landcycle until I cast the huge Realm Seekers. He promptly cloned it with Dack's Duplicate and used haste with the Dethrone to grow it to 25/25 and beyond!
curved T2 Flamewright into some defenders as well as a kicked Apex Hawks, Silverchase Fox, and a Vent Sentinel.
kept a land-light hand with a Pride Guardian and 2 Copperhorn Scouts. She revealed Secrets of Paradise naming the Scouts but she durdled along for a while, eventually adding Elvish Aberration but being very much a bystander for most of the game.
The two massive Realm Seekers put and into chump block mode. Once they started attacking I continued to add a steady stream of creatures to my field including Edric and Galvanic Juggernaut.
