Ha ji me ma shi te! PCC no daigaku no gakusei no Jyemuzu desu. Douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

I'm James, a 23-year old college student living in a rented room, attempting to learn as many languages as I can by the time I have a Master's degree. I'm aiming for six by then, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Italian, German.
The European languages I'm studying first are going to be based on my family's heritage, as parts of my family are from Italy, Russia, and Germany.
The Southeastern Asian languages, however, are more related to where I want to travel first. I love the technological innovations of South korea, the culture and entertainment of Japan, and the thing that fascinates me about China is their social system.
I would love to travel to these places, but first I need to work towards entering a career that will allow me much time and plenty of money to do so, so that I'm not bound by my "career" too often.
Other than my ambitions, I have many various hobbies, both intellectuallu and physically-demanding. Chess, Shogi, Go, and Othello are just a few of the board games I play. For card games, obviously, I play Magic: The Gathering, but also Yu-Gi-Oh! with my high school friends, who still have cards, whenever we meet.
I also enjoy bicycle riding, jogging, isometric exercises even my 87-year old grandfather could do, which are good for rebuilding muscle on my recovering broken arm, light cardiovascular exercises in ridiculously excessive amounts, such as performing 500 jumping jacks in one session, 5 days per week.
I can't do push-ups, though. My arm IS broken, after all.
I can do light things like typing excessive and useless amounts of text, like right now, due to the fact that they put a metal plate and six screws to hold it into place in while it heals. Sometimes I overexert it, though, and the pain is quite unbearable.
Self-absorbed pity-part aside, as for my time-wasting hobbies, I play video games of every genre, though I prefer not to play games where there is no multiplayer function, and I prefer games that fulfill the needs of the time that I play them. When I want to feel strategically smarter, I play Age of Empires games, or Empire Earth, against hardest level computers. Of course, AI is still abuse ready, so I'm only fooling myself at thinking I'm good because I can crush 7 computer AI opponents on the highest difficulties. Different strategies for each game though, and in Empire Earth my strategies won't work after the Middle Ages, so unless I set max age, it's a huge gamble to play on hardest.
When I want to feel like I can carry a team / support a decent team, I play Battlefield or Call of Duty games. Yes, I know there are better ones out there, they just happen to be the only FPS games I own on a console.
When I want to exercise my creativity, I play with legos-I mean Minecraft. I periodically spend a few days at a time becoming a vegetable while I built a city of wood and stone bricks.
Not that there's anything wrong with people who play with legos, I used to also as a child and even teenager, but when I was around 14 I found it a real hassle to clean them up and so I gave them to our local thrift store and starting playing more video games. If you don't mind the chore of cleanup, then by all means, have at it.
Magic cards are a cleanup hassle too - but at least I won't break my magic cards since they're in sleeves all the time. I double sleeve all my foils, rares and mythics, in KMC perfect fit if possible, but in dragon shield covered by another sleeve if not. No, I'm not advertising quality products, I'm just stating my obsession with protecting card quality. I use playmats not for the designs, but to keep my cards clean and safe. Might seems excessive, but that's fine with me.
Now that my wall of text is out of the way, I hope to have a few duels with some people on skype. I do play with people on skype via my laptop, but only on days where I'm at my best friend's place, where my cards are currently stored. If you're interested in playing Magic with me, I play standard and EDH/Commander on skype, mostly on Monday nights from 9PM-1AM UTC-8:00. It's 5:45 now, so I'll see people who want to play later, if they add my skype aksurtepsemaj.
There's a lot more to me, but I'm out of time for now. PM me if you wish to know more. De wa mata! Zàijiàn!
