A format inspired by the now well-known Forgetful Fish, it's called Shifty Snake and the goal instead of manipulating the top of the deck and dandans island requirements, we are manipulating creature types and interacting with targeting effects.
The majority of the info about the format is in the Moxfield primer and I'm looking for some feedback since it's yet to be playtested. I would love to hear new cards I couldn't find that do effects I'm trying to promote in this format.
I'm also wondering if it should start with 2 lands in play already due to Shifting Sliver's high cost for early plays and more fun games. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/tz5FJBPwbUGPTNajSFm0Rw
(This format was made in the span of an hour and has zero testing, but I want to see how fun this could get.)
Edit 1: Due to Shifting Sliver being so expensive, I found another card in Deathcult Rogue, same effect and power but 1 mana less, which is a win. And with the main piece being a rogue I'm looking into prowl cards like Thieve's Fortune.
Edit 2: Okay wow this is getting complicated, after some discussion in discord I've realized that these cards all work in strange and unique ways. I first realized that Deathcult Rogue is not a 1-1 copy of Shifting Sliver. Since the rules text only states 1 instance of Rogue as a creature type, unlike Shifting Sliver which states sliver twice. Secondly Deathcult Rogue unlike Shifting Sliver is a HUMAN rogue meaning cards like Peer Pressure can also name Human or Rogue, I can't tell if this adds a good complexity or hinders it.
Another 2 cards I overlooked and thought were 1-1 copies are Trickery Charm and Artificial Evolution which complexes the soup even more. Artificial Evolution changes ALL instances of a creature type with another while Trickery Charm only affects the creature type.
In conclusion, I reverted the list back to having Brainstorm and Shifting Sliver till I can wrap my head around if the Human Rogue works well with the cards I've laid out or if it makes cards not work at all.
Any discussion or helpful clarification is greatly appreciated.

I decided instead of changing the original list to just make a new variant. This list has a cheaper distant melody and the under utilized prowl mechanic since Deathcult Rogue is well a rogue and human!
