Fauna Shaman - Tutors up wincons like Thrun/Glissa, and Glissa's ability can bring Perilous Myrs back for more tutoring. It's also a must-answer 2 drop that can hopefully draw Lightning Bolts away from Glissa
Putrid Leech - It and Fauna Shaman are the best 2 drops around, T2 Leech into T3 Glissa is very hard for creature-based decks to stop
Perilous Myr - Excellent chump blocker who works well with Glissa + Fauna Shaman, but also included because there really aren't any other cheap artifact creatures who fit well in this deck (Glaze Fiend? Runed Servitor? Should I just maindeck the Phyrexian Revokers?)
Thrun - I figured Thrun would shine in this type of deck since all the removal can get rid of any chump blockers. He also fits well on the curve
Bonehoard - I love the Living Weapon mechanic personally, and I feel like this deck is the perfect place for Bonehoard
I was also considering going G/B/W for Tidehollow Sculler/Doran, the Siege Tower, but figured I'd keep it simple for now and see what people think of the deck concept
I really like your deckbuilding, the list seems really solid for a first drawup. The curve seems a bit high, though, and the deck seems like it would benefit from some sort of acceleration, ie Lotus Cobra, Garruk
I'll certainly be playing it. and if you doubt the usefulness of this spell.... well, good luck! lol. You'll be on the receiving end of it soon enough, when your Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker gets turned into an elephant.
I like the suggestion o Garruk, since this deck is all about utility, but I don't see why you have Murmuring Bosk. You don't have anything white like in the side, so why not just play Savage Lands?
EDIT: never mind, just realized you can fetch for the Bosk.
Maybe use Blazing Torch for recurring damage in addition to the Myr? Also kills black creatures if used with Glissa.
