Hi guys,
I am still trying to bring the landfall mechanics to my decks. I put this one together yesterday and it has been doing good so far in MTGO Tournament Practice. I have won a few matches against Smallpox, BW Tokens, Red Deck Wins, and some others including Grixis Death's Shadow, but I think it can be improved.
As you will see, I don't have many playsets, and the reason is that I am trying different cards to see which one is better. Also, the reason why I am playing birds instead of noble is because I don't have the card in MTGO and to protect myself against flyers.
The idea here is to bring as many lands as possible to the battlefield, so that they can help the Undergrowth Champion to grow and feeding both Tunneling Geopede and Hedron Crab. With Commune with the Gods I hope to find Retreat to Coralhelm and Ruin Ghost (the other cards that look for creatures also help) which creates the infinite landfall combo.
With a few changes to the mana base for more targets, Knight of the Reliquary slots right into this combo. Knightfall being a more prominent deck, is there a particular reason for not using it?
I also don't think you have much use for red in this deck unless you use the Knightfall + Kessig Wolf Run combo. Hedron Crab is cheaper than Tunneling Geopede and shares its color with retreat. Blue lets you run countermagic to protect your extremely squishy combo pieces.

The point of the combo is to thin your deck and generate a lot of mana in the process. A big knight is gravy at best.
