I really want to play an orzhov deck in modern, i want to make something to win my LGS modern tornoment, i see some orzhov cards that can really disrupt some decks in my meta, I'm willing to buy cards that will hold value thoughtseizepath to exile and i have the dual lands, but no pitch lands (though if this works i'll buy them, i have a lot of control in my meta (at least half the decks) I want to build a deck around Ayli, eternal pilgrim get to thirty as fast as possible and just start vindicating things, any suggestions? I know I'm not laying out a deck here and I'm kind of just spitballing, but is there a way to use Ayli? I need to be able to prevent the turn 3 kill from storm, that is something ive run into, I can see sideboard cards for almost any other deck i've seen but i'm having trouble getting around storm just going off on turn 3
Clerics are one of my favorite tribes, and I'd really like to build a deck around them, though they don't have much love in standard, the closest i've seen is death and taxes and I'm thinking about building that, but i want to build my own deck, some super budget thing that just surprises my local meta, that's what makes magic fun for me
A BW Oketra's Monument Soul Sisters deck could use Ayli reasonably well. I don't know how competitive it would be, but that deck is pretty explosive. Oketra's Monument + a Whitemane Lion with a single Sister in play gives you 2 life for each one mana you spend at instant speed, and with more sisters it gets even more ridiculous.
There are some hatebears you can run to slow down Storm - Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, for example, or Ethersworn Canonist, but Canonist is kind of antisynergy with Whitemane Lion + Monument.

Well, I can saw a woman in two, but you won't wanna look in the box when I'm through.
If you go into the soul sister forums in developing competitive I think the card has been brought up a couple times. I do mono white sisters and is fun. Testing out a bw sister vehicles doing well but not much testing done yet
If you want to able to activate Ayli's Vindicate ability you probably need to slot her into a B/W variant of Soul Sisters.
Otherwise it is highly unlikely to be activated, though it is still not a great card a against control decks.
Pretty much what Dennis said... And the others as well. WB gives you a pretty good game against storm. You have the white Leyline to stop them from shooting you to death and can make life miserable with seizes and IoK while also running a few extraction effects to completely remove them out the game. This also works against Tron if that is an issue if you pack some qarters to take out the lone Tron then rip them out the deck and hand. When Tron has to play fair it's a lot easier to beat... Still O stone will give you a bad day. Pack a few Stony Silence in the board for tron and affinity. Then just gain life as mentioned in the above posters and start blowing up their world.
These is a little known card that probably would work wonders in this deck as a 1 of. Nightmare Void. This looks like a monster after you grind out the opponent. Which I'm assuming a BW soulsisters deck would be great at the attrition aspect.

You can use creatures like: Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, Martyr of Sands (and Auriok Champion) and payoffs like Serra Ascendant, Ajani's Pridemate and Archangel of Thune or Crested Sunmare.
Also Lingering Souls to trigger all the lifegain creatures and Legion's Landing to generate lifelinkers.
With all that life gain cards like: Dark Confidant (or Ruin Raider) and Arguel's Blood Fast can be used as draw engines.
Kambal, Consul of Allocation would also be good in the deck, probably in the SB.
It stops Storm pretty well.
