I wanted to get eidolon and zealot into the same deck because they crush pod and UWx, then I just built around them. It plays sort of like jund with faster but more narrow spells, and with crusher and lavamancer as the card advantage and molten giving random blowouts. Lavamancer is just a house against everything, and crusher is such a qt with him
Now that i've found so many good creatures mutagenic is probably a flex spot, but it performs really well when racing combo that tries to burn your threats, keeping eidolon/zealot alive vs UWr, dodging searing blood and swinging for extra vs burn, or sticking a crusher through any turn 3 sweeper/bolt or lavamancer if they electrolyze for 1. The only scary cards are goyf and heirarch, so I bring dismember main. Against junk/rock your only dead card is 2 mutagenic, but they have 4 extra lands and our removal is usually just as live as theirs. An early thrun seems really good against us, though.
For the board; bad matches imo are combo with burn, affinity and tron being the worst. Spree is pseudo-uncounterable for killing wurmcoil, or can be used to kill the spawns. It can also hose affinity when we run 21 land. Smash to Smithereens probably belongs in the board as it's strong against all three decks(if burn boards dragon claw). Cryoclasm is good against a lot of tier 1 but Blood Moon is likely strictly better in this deck, I just have a crush on LD lately. Was thinking of cutting a card in the main for another shrine, as it deals with Etched Champion and Master of Waves

Skred/Dismember will become way more solid when i Bloodstained Mire becomes legal. being able to fetch for a basic snow swamp, if i decide to add that, and cutting some dragonskull summits
g1 against U/R
he's running a budget landbase that doesnt slow him down at all, but makes the two moltens i opened with dead. he tries to go off before lethal and fizzles as i randomly choose his only ritual when he casts Desperate Ravings.
g2 i pull eidolons and dont remember anything else, eidolon won both rounds
g1 against UW midrange
i win dice roll, he stabilizes with lingering souls and two 5 loyalty planeswalkers against my zealot/lavamancer board and my hand is empty. The planeswalkers eat all my burn and lavamancer shots for 2 turns while spirits block zealot. he paths zealot and flashbacks souls and i draw into Crusher , Eidolon, Eidolon and he has no answers.
g2 he opens with seize, inquisition hitting both my searing bloods. Then he plays 3 Tidehollows in a row which are practically a dead card against me. I topdeck another searing blaze and lavamancer together clean up everything. Drop a ton of creatures turn 4-5 and get in. Lavamancer carried me both games here. First turn lava turned into a 10-for-1 each game
g1 against GBW pod, not sure about his build as he had really slow hands. might have been bad draws as he he was 2-0 as well
lose dice roll and he draw-go's for 4 turns, flashes in a resto two turns in a row to block but i get lethal.
g2 he goes land bird, i kill bird, turn 2 he misses land and plays another bird, kill bird. At this point i have 2 moltens and cryoclasm in my hand but never find a third land all game. He finds lands and plays voice resto and archangel but my board of lavamancer/2 zealots/2 nobles get in for lethal
