Hey all,
So I decided to take the time and make a set based on the story set by the Planar Chaos block...It's in an offshoot world, one where four heroes - Miaka, Yuna, Auron, and Tamahome - have to heal the wounds suffered by the Tolskaric realm. So without further ado, here's the set (or at least a link to it): http://http://www.uploading.com/files/B4ND5IC6/Arena_Spoils.mse_set.html (You'll need Magic Set Editor to run the file)
If some folks would be willing to help I think this set could really get off the ground and be something awesome.
Thanks!

Alter ego: Tamahome, Gaea's Advocate (Simic Initiate)
First impression: Lightning Toss and Saved Fate are strictly worse than Shock and Indestructible Aura. Mistress of Scrolls is poorly templated. She should say, "As long as you control a Samurai, ~ has "T: ~ deals 2 damage to target creature or player."" Or else "T: ~ deals 2 damage to target creature or player. Play this ability only if you control a Samurai." In addition, there'd be no harm done boosting her to a 4/3. Auron and Tamahome need to tell you to shuffle after searching. Miaka is underpowered; green is the best creature color, and for 4 mana as well as an additional color, you could make her a 4/5. Or since she's blue, she could easily be a 4/3 flyer. Twice-Dead Brigade should be a 1/1 and get two counters instead of a -1/-1 who gets four counters. Meditative Elfe is two strong--I'd add an extra colorless to the cost. Broken Love has two problems: -1/-1 counters aren't in use anymore, and enchantments don't tap for costs--it's part of their flavor. I'd change it to
Broken Love 1BB
Enchantment -- Aura
Enchant creature (Or maybe enchant land?)
Enchanted creature/land has "B, T: Put a foo counter on target creature."
Creatures with foo counters on them get -1/-1.
BB, Sacrifice ~: Destroy all creatures with foo counters on them.
Enchant creature also helps the flavor of lost love, I think.
*Long* overdue bump...anyhoo, I've been furiously making more cards (I have about 277 done right now) and I thought it was about time to post some new cards, so take a look ^_^:

Alter ego: Tamahome, Gaea's Advocate (Simic Initiate)
wolfrask prowlers: Seems fair enough, decent french vanilla creature.
Goblin War Beast: Could cost much less, probably 4 as goblin decks hardly would either win or lose by turn 8. Otherwise seems alright, maybe give it haste?
Wolfrask Dead: Seems fine, of course power level for limited will be determined by the amount of zombies in your set. Probably should be uncommon though.
Orcish Cleaver: Neat idea, but could probably cost 2 and 2 as the non-orc bonus is worse than bonesplitter.
CoA Blue- Strictly worse than Circle of Affliction.
Chaotic Chants. Very powerful given that it is red. Could probably stand to cost a little more as it is out of color and the drawback is very minor.
Bauble Mage- So broken. T1 players would die for this card. Probably should make it tap ability at the very least, or even a spellshaper discard ability. Also a weaker body, relevant abilities usually don't come on a very efficient blue body.
Destruction of Idols- See Molder.
DJDojo vbmenu_register("postmenu_1843917", true); - functionally worse cards than existing, not-broken cards are a bad idea... and unoriginal.
8 mana for a 0/0 is inexcusable. Oh, and Bauble Mage's CMC doesn't change, so just say "tutor for artifact w/ cmc 3 or less" - and it's probably too good.
If anything, play magic - see what cards cost. Then sit down and play with the numbers. If you want to take the base set, make it cost 1 more, and replace human beings with big breasted dogfolk, fine. I just don't see how that's original... or worth it.

It's been a while since I've played magic (the last set i can remember using in my deck is maybe 5th edition with some Ice Age and Visions tossed in) and I'm trying to get back on the top of things, so hence the proliferation of broken cards.
The wolves are there because in Tolskar the Wolfrask are a pretty important group (mostly green with white tendencies), and two of their kind are trying to end the planar rifts in the realm (Auron and Tamahome). I understand it may not be quite original, but I can't remember seeing wolf-folk in the general Magic continuity, so take from that what you will.
@Drachen: I'll work on what you suggested, and thanks for the help.
