Had the idea for a tribal lord that cared about hatebears and tax effects. Obviously something so broken as what I envision could only occur in an Unset. Maybe it would be better if I made it so it got a benefit from things coming into play tapped? It would be such an oppressive card that it would never actually be made.

Whenever you cast a card that increases casting costs or has the words "can't" or "don't" in its text, Miss Manners gains protection from target player until end of turn.
*art of a Victorian-esque woman in white frilly clothing wagging a finger*
"If you can't play nice, you're not going to play at all."
Solid design for an uncard: It does something that makes sense as written but wouldn't actually be able to be worded on a real card.
I actually misread it first as it triggering off opponent casting things, like a hate bear for hate bears. In fairness, its going to be hard to trigger in response to opponent casting removal, so its actually not that broken.
Do you think the triggered ability is relevant? Or should it be something else control related, like "when you cast x, tap target creature" or "when you cast x, target creature can't attack or block next turn"?
