MaRo stated that he loves to take old (keyless) mechanics and turn them into (keyed) set mechanics.
A perfect example is Vinelasher Kudzu = Landfall.
A cycle has been printed in Khans that I think would make a great guild mechanic as a (more linear) riff.
Am I right?
What think ye?

Boros Squire (Common) 1RW
Creature - Human Soldier
1/1
First strike Warcraft 1 - When Boros Squire enters the battlefield, choose one -
Put a +1/+1 counter on Boros Squire.
Put a 1/1 red and white Soldier creature token with first strike onto the battlefield.
Flamewing Griffin (Uncommon) 3RW
Creature - Elemental Griffin
2/2
Flying, haste Warcraft 2 - When Flamewing Griffin enters the battlefield, choose one -
Put two +1/+1 counters on Flamewing Griffin.
Put a 2/2 red and white Elemental creature token with flying and haste onto the battlefield.
Having every token be a different size/type seems a little weird, but not impossible. Presumably they'd all have different abilities, too. Usually tokens are pretty close to vanilla.
This is cool. I rather like this as Boros mechanic.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

I think this is a little lacking on the elegance side. I get thematically what you're doing here, but the fact that you'll be creating several different size and type of tokens is odd. If you're set on this direction maybe something like:
Boros Squire1RW
Creature - Human Soldier (C)
1/1
First strike Warcraft 1 - If Boros Squire isn't a token, when it enters the battlefield put a +1/+1 counter on it or put a token onto the battlefield that's a copy of this creature.
1/1
MOON-E did quite a lot of good with it in the Muraganda Mini-block. Note that while the choice version has its merits, the execution is clean and very well done. I suggest you learn from it.
For what you are proposing, I'm as well going to third Piar.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
when [white] teams up with red...out comes the army flavor that quickly assembles and attacks.
Red and white also overlap in the flavor of an army. True, white's army is uniform and structured, while red is a ragtag collection of people with their own agendas, but the two colors are the ones where the little guys band together to take on the big guys.
I really think Warcraft embodies this perfectly. That being said, the token generation could (and probably should) be uniform token generation, such as always N 1/1 red and white Soldier.
I've publicly claimed on multiple occasions that I feel [Radiance] was the big miss of Ravnica block. Note that I don't think the mechanic itself is necessarily bad, I just feel it doesn't have enough of a Boros feel.

Oh yes, Radiance was a complete miss that focused on the flavor of light and fire instead of a militant strategy you'd want to bring to the board and played poorly too to boot. Particularly since it often backfired and helped opponents/hurt yourself. Not the right implementation or wording, especially in a multi color set.
I get that making tokens to build an army is on point for a potential Boros direction. I get that having a choice plays into strategic warfare that could fit the Boros theme. What I don't get is the choice itself. Build an army or get a counter. It's doesn't sound terribly strategic in practice and kinda wants you to build in difference directions. I think the choice would need to be more meaningfully strategic/synergistic OR just to focus on one direction here.
Pack is nicely if not perfectly worded, but I don't think it conveys Boros strategic militant decision making flavor as well as the choose one template.

Also, What Piar said.
For what you are proposing, I'm as well going to third Piar.
Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."

It's far more Boros than Radiance.
I don't understand.
