These are meant to be designed for a Core set that I'm working on for a supplement to go with two other custom blocks. So they are probably a little bit uninteresting mechanically. That being said, I'm particularly interested on feedback regarding flavour, costing, power level, wording, etc.
Dogs of War 1RR
Creature - Hound (Common)
Flash, first strike
When ~ enters the battlefield, target creature attacks this turn if able.
2/2
Double Header 1RR
Enchantment - Aura (Uncommon)
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature has double strike and can't be blocked except by two or more creatures.
Feedback Loop 4R
Sorcery (Uncommon)
Return a card at random from your graveyard to your hand.
Add RRR to your mana pool.
Flamespitting 2R
Enchantment - Aura (Common)
Enchant creature
When ~ enters the battlefield, enchanted creature deals damage equal to its power to target creature. R: Enchanted creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn.
Frenzied Researcher 1RR
Creature - Human Wizard (Uncommon)
When ~ enters the battlefield, draw two cards.
When ~ leaves the battlefield, discard two cards at random.
2/2
Incite Rebellion 2RRR
Sorcery (Uncommon)
Untap up to two target creatures and gain control of them until end of turn. Those creatures gain haste until end of turn.
Jumpstart R
Instant (Uncommon)
Untap target artifact. Its controller sacrifices it at end of turn.
Matchstick Maiden R
Creature - Scarecrow (Rare)
Whenever another red source would deal damage, sacrifice ~. If you do, that source deals twice the amount of damage instead.
1/1
Mine Collapse 2RR
Sorcery (Common)
Destroy target land. Put two 1/1 red Survivor creature tokens onto the battlefield.
Storm Chaser RR
Creature - Human Scout (Common)
Whenever an opponent is dealt noncombat damage, ~ gets +1/+1 and attacks this turn if able.
2/2
Warning Shot 2RR
Sorcery (Uncommon)
~ deals 3 damage to target creature. Other creatures can't block this turn.
I really like Frenzied Researcher, but I feel his abilities should be reversed so that, flavor-wise, he tears apart the place upon entering, and then leaves after giving you the materials you needed.
the name Double Header is taken, but that's a fun, flavorful design that translates a concept into card form naturally
Dogs of War could make "target creature you control" attack, otherwise i don't see it's ability mattering most of the time
Storm Chaser's forced attack ability also doesn't seem like it would take effect very often, especially since you're the one most likely in control of the trigger for the drawback
Feedback Loop is an interesting way to give red regrowth and i like it
Warning Shot reminds me of Intimidation Bolt, but better this way. very playable

Incite Rebellion's fun and costed correctly
Flamespitting is a clever twist on Blaze
