Glass Golem3
artifact creature -- golem
When ~ becomes a target of a spell or effect or takes damage, sacrifice it and put X 1/1 colorless golem artifact creatures into the battlefield, where X is its toughness.
3/3
Mirror of Truth3
artifact T: turn target face down permanent face up. T: all players reveal their hands.
Mirror of Lies3
artifact T, sacrifice ~: put a creature, artifact, enchantment, planeswalker, or land card from your hand into the battlefield facedown as a 2/2 colorless, typeless creature.
Cool Shades1
artifact -- equipment 1: attach ~ to target creature. Use this ability as a sorcery. 2: unattach ~. Any player may use this ability.
Equipped creature gains -2/0, can't block but looks cooool.
glass golem (or whatever you rename it to) is awesome, just a few quibbles: should say "ability" instead of "effect," and I don't think the 1/1s should be golems (they don't seem like they should be that small). Maybe they can be "shard" tokens or something, and/or it can be renamed Shard Golem?
Also, is it too strong as a 3/3 for 3? I think it might be.
glass sword wording is weird.
mirrors - interesting... pretty powerful combo, but probably fine given the cost and its one-shot nature.
Glass Golem3
artifact creature -- golem
When ~ becomes a target of a spell or effect or takes damage, sacrifice it and put X 1/1 colorless golem artifact creatures into the battlefield, where X is its toughness.
3/3
I don't think colorless gets 3/3s for three. That said, I really like the ability, and would prefer seeing it simplified and costing 4 or even 5.
Katamari Myr4
Artifact Creature - Myr (U)
When ~ becomes a target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it and put three 1/1 colorless Myr artifact creature tokens onto the field.
3/3
Glass Golem: "...of a spell or ability, or takes damage..." unless you wanted it to be effect, which I'm not sure works.
Glass Sword: "Destroy target creature blocking or blocked by equipped creature"
I think that's how you would word it, a little less confusing too.
Mirror of Lies: "... put a permanent card from..."
Unless I missed something, you just listed all the permanent types.
Cool Shades needs a major rework, how about this:
Cool Shades2
Artifact - Equipment
Say a cheesy one-liner: Attach Cool Shades to target creature unless an opponent yells "YEAH!" at the top of their lungs.
Equipped creature cannot be fooled.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.

Cathodion is pretty much all upside now that mana burn is gone, but it wasn't always that way. A vanilla 3/3 for 3 artifact creature would be printable, but I agree that this is a bit too strong at its cost. In constructed this card is often essentially a 3/1 Sprouting Thrinax that's much, much easier to cast.

A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

While shard tokens work, Shard Golem doesn't conve the flavor that I wanted, that of a creature that shatters very easily.
Glass Sword: "Destroy target creature blocking or blocked by equipped creature"
I think that's how you would word it, a little less confusing too.
That works.

Shouldn't it be "YYYYYYEAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"?
I don't see why Glass Sword would need to tap.
Reflex typing of activation costs. Yeah, it could do without it.

Say a cheesy one-liner: Attach Cool Shades to target creature unless an opponent yells "YYYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!" at the top of their lungs. If an opponent is of the opposite sex of ~ controller, they may swoon and fall out of his or her chair instead.
Equipped creature cannot be creatures of the opposite sex, as it is too cool for that.

Take a mechanic from the pre-mirrodin era, and a mechanic after the mirrodin era, and create a card that flavorfully melds both mechanics.
