Grimoire of Eriomirg 4
Artifact ( R )
Player's may look at their opponent's hands, but can't look their own hands. (Player's play with their hands revealed to their opponent's, but not to themselves. Whenever a player would play a spell, instead, he names it and pays it's manacost, than reveals a card from his or her hand. If it's not the named card, counter that spell. That player takes no damage due to manaburn.)
How would you word this card, or "reminder text" this card?
Grimoire of Mirroring seems really complex and a great way to pull the game into a standstill as nobody will know what is in their hand especially after a single draw.
Here's a question: Why would anyone play this card? It's not fun, and it basically says "Players can't play spells"
Here's an idea for it:
Grimoire
Artifact
When Grimoire comes into play, each player removes his or her hand from the game. If a player would draw a card, instead that player removes the top card of his or her library from the game.
Players can play mana abilities only when he or she could play an instant.
:0mana:: Choose a card at random you removed from the game. Play that card, then empty your mana pool. Any player may play this ability.
1) You know what was removed for yourself and someone else.
2) You are forced to play the card you revealed if you can.
3) You have to have the mana before you use the ability, otherwise you won't be able to play the card.
This wasn't much serious, just a thought I had a while ago and wanted to see what reactions it would get.
I based it on a cardgame we have in Brasil called Truco, much like poker...
Actually that's a terrible comparison...
There is one way of playing it where player's hold their hands backwards, showing cards to everybody, but they can't see their own hands.
They have to guess which card they'll play. Well, it's fun... but I guess it's not that fun in Magic

Hey, you! Yeah, you behind the computer screen! You're unconstitutional.
