SO!~ I noticed that there aren't any living threads for making Vanguard cards. I'll start up another. Even if it lies dead immediately...
What a Vanguard card is:
It's a card that is 'in play' at all times. It doesn't qualify as actually being a card, but rather acts as a set of abilities that are always available. They can be passive abilities, abilities with a mana cost, abilities that have a per-turn limit, maybe even abilities that require tapping. Not sure on the last one, everything about Vanguard card rules I know
Vanguard cards also have two numbers in the bottom corners, representing modifiers to hand size and starting life. For example, if the hand size modifier is +3, then you start the game with 10 cards and have a maximum hand size of 10. The starting life modifier is the same: If a Vanguard card has a -5 starting life modifier, then you start the game with 15 life.
Heres one of the official ones, for reference:
What is to be done here:
Like the Planeswalker Game and Commander Game, you make a Vanguard card following the thing(s) asked of the previous post and put in your own request(s) for the next person to do. If someone asks for more than one specific thing, you can go with just one of those things. Oh, and feel free to use a card creator program and post the image, I won't mind. Vanguard cards do use a different sort of formatting from normal M:tG cards, after all.

I'll start with a simple thing:
Sliver Hivelord, Progenitor of Skep
Character
All Slivers you control get +0/+3
Hand modifier: 0
Life Modifier: +10
---
Next: A tribal supporting Vanguard. It can be giving a buff, making the creatures of that tribe easier to get out, have something that helps the tribe in question in a roundabout way, as long as it supports a tribe (AKA Creature Type, for those who don't know the fanbase term) and you mention what one it supports. If it just spells out a creature type in one of its abilities, that's fine.
Commander-General Vorik
Vanguard
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control two or more creatures, create a 1/1 Ally creature token that is all colors. "I thought of all the Zendikari, and I felt remorse. I would be gone and they would be here."
Hand: +1
Life: -5
Next: Choose a legendary creature from Commander 2016 (e. g. Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder) and design a vanguard to "partner" with it.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
Whenever a spell or permanent you control deals damage to a player, draw a card.
Whenever you draw a card, deal one damage to target creature or player.
: Deal two damage to target creature.
Hand: +3
Life: 0
---
Next: Something that alters the rules of the game. It can be bringing back mana burn, it can be making all Enchantments count as creatures with base P/T equal to their CMC, whatever it is, something that alters the rules of the game for you or your opponent or both.
