Whenever a new concept or mechanic is released in magic, a card-creating game is formed on this forum. In the past we've made cards into Legends, made cards into Planeswalkers, Planeshifted or Timeshifted cards, and now the most recent iteration:
Compleat The Card!
In light of the impending New Phyrexia, we've seen that Phyrexians will likely be a villain for a long time to come, and while this most recent group of Phyrexians have not yet discovered planar travel, we can expect it to happen, and perhaps see our favorite planes under attack by Phyrexians and some of our old favorite cards returning Phyrexian style. We've already seen this thrice in:
Now, perhaps not the best example seeing how they seem to have just stamped Infect on things, but there are enough other Phyrexian mechanics and Phyrexian cards of questionable consistency to the color pie that there's plenty of creative opportunity for Phyrexifying ("Compleat"ing) cards.
This game works just like each of the others before it. The poster before you will have named a card. Recreate that card with Phyrexian flavor, however you interpret that.
I'll give an example, and then start you guys off.
When Loxodon Chancellor enters the battlefield, gain 4 life. GW, Sacrifice Loxodon Chancellor: Put a -1/-1 counter on any number of target creatures. Regenerate those creatures.
4/4 "It shall speak for us to the other tusk-ed ones. It shall convince them of the glorious aria that is the Mechaschola"
Keiga's difficult, since it feels like it should still maintain some sense of it's former self...
I really hate unmarked permanent modifications, so I decided to use a -1/-1 counter, which isn't ideal, but whatever.
Keiga, the Inexorable Tide5U
Creature - Dragon Mutant
Flying
When Keiga, the Inexorable Tide is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, gain control of target creature and put a -1/-1 counter on it. As long as that creature has -1/-1 counter on it, it has infect. 5/5
Doomate Dragon3BRG
Creature - Dragon {R}
Flying, infect
When ~ is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, put a 4/4 black Dragon with flying and infect onto the battlefield.
4/4
Maybe this reality is actually an alternate reality of a reality in which New Phyrexia was the joke expansion and Mirrodin Pure was the obvious expansion, except our reality is the Time Shifted reality which is opposite of that other reality which is that actual reality.
Jhoira of Phyrexia 1UBR
Legendary Creature - Horror Wizard {R}
Whenever a counter is removed from a card you control, proliferate.
At the beginning of your upkeep, exile a nonland card from your graveyard with 2 time counters on it. If that card doesn't have suspend, it gains suspend.
1/4
Niv-Mizzet, the Corrupted3UBR
Legendary Creature - Dragon Wizard
Flying, Infect
At the beginning of your upkeep, you get a poison counter.
Whenever you draw a card, ~ deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
4/4
next, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir
How about "You may discard your hand, pay 5 life, rip this card, remove 3 digits from any number of target fingers you control, and concede at the end of the next end step rather than pay It Will Go Through!!'s mana cost.
This is probably horribly broken and templated, but:
Teferi, Phyrexian Praetor 2:sympu::sympu::sympb::sympb:
Legendary Creature - Praetor
Whenever you cast a creature spell, for each colored mana symbol in that spell's mana cost, you may pay 2 life instead of 1 mana of that color.
Whenever an opponent casts a creature spell, he or she must pay 2 life for each colored mana symbol in that spell's mana cost.
2/4
Autumn's Forgotten 1:sympg::sympg::sympg:
Legendary Creature - Avatar
Infect
: Prevent the next 1 damage that would be dealt to target creature or player. If damage was prevented this way, ~ deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
1/4 Those who have met Autumn Willow know about her daughters. But they forgot about one. When the forgotten one found Phyrexia, she finally had the power to get her revenge.
How about "You may discard your hand, pay 5 life, rip this card, remove 3 digits from any number of target fingers you control, and concede at the end of the next end step rather than pay It Will Go Through!!'s mana cost.
Sharuum, the Rust Herald 3BBB
Legendary Artifact Creature - Sphinx
Infect 1, Sacrifice an artifact: Sharuum, the Rust Herald gets flying and +3/+3 until end of turn.
Whenever Sharuum, the Rust Herald deals damage to an opponent, that player sacrifices an artifact.
Fist of the Praetors -- 9
Artifact Creature -- Eldrazi
You may sacrifice four artifact creatures rather than pay Fist of the Praetors' mana cost. Metalcraft -- Fist of the Praetors has infect as long as you control three or more artifacts.
7/7
Thrall of the Praetors :2mana::sympb::sympb: {U}
Creature - Zombie Minion
Whenever a Praetor enters the battlefield under your control, if Thrall of the Praetors is in your hand or graveyard, you may put Thrall of the Praetors onto the battlefield.
Thrall of the Praetor's has infect as long as you control a Praetor.
3/3
I opened one last year, got two crap worldwake packs and 8x scathe zombies, which I promptly hid around my sister's apartment for her roommates to find. But, yeah, it was a piece of crap.
You, sir, have just won the internet. Congratulations.
Axsh, Orthodoxy Prelate1WW
Legendary Creature - Cleric 1W: Put a -1/-1 counter on target creature you control. WW: Creatures you control with a -1/-1 counter gain protection from the color of your choice until end of turn.
1/3
Goblin Injector2(P/R)
Creature- Goblin Horror
Protection from Blue
Infect
Whenever Goblin Injector attacks, it gets +1/+0 for each other attacking creature with infect.
1/1
Fist of Spheres--
:4mana:--
Artifact--
You may pay 10 life rather than pay the mana cost of spells you cast. You can't cast a spell this way with higher converted mana cost than the number of permanents.--

About any "subpar" mechanics or cards: Context is king.
If I make a templating or grammar error, let me know.
The franchise MtG most resembles is Battlestar Galactica. Why? Its players exist in, at most, a dozen different models at any given point in time, with perhaps up to 3% variation, 5% if you're lucky.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
Memnarch, The Rebirthed -
Legendary Artifact Creature - Wizard Horror
:sympu::sympu::sympu:: Target creature gains infect until end of turn.
:2mana::sympu::sympu:: Gain control of target creature with infect. At the end of turn, sacrifice that creature.
Whenever a creature you control with infect goes to the graveyard, put a 1/1 Phyrexian Memnaught artifact token into play under your control.
[3/1]
Dryation1UB
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step.
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a -1/-1 counter on enchanted creature.

Eternal Felon
| Creature - Shaman Horror | [U]
Infect
When Eternal Felon is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, return another card from your graveyard to your hand.
[ 2 / 1 ]
Cho-Manno, Devolutionary:2mana::sympw::sympw:

Infect
Prevent all damage that would to Cho-Manno, Devolutionary as long as an opponent has a poison counter on him or her.

Maybe this reality is actually an alternate reality of a reality in which New Phyrexia was the joke expansion and Mirrodin Pure was the obvious expansion, except our reality is the Time Shifted reality which is opposite of that other reality which is that actual reality.
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
Infect
Pay 2 Life, :symtap:: Reveal the top card of your library. If it's a land card you may put it onto the battlefield with a poison counter on it.
Lands with poison counters have ":symtap:: Put a poison counter on target player."
White-Fume Baku(P/W)(P/W)W
| Creature - Spirit | [C]
Infect
Whenever you cast a Spirit or Arcane spell, you may put a ki counter on White-Fume Baku.
Whenever another creature with infect enters the battlefield under your control, you may put a ki counter on White-Fume Baku. 1, Remove X ki counters from White-Fume Baku: Tap X target creatures with -1/-1 counters on them.
[ 2 / 2 ]
Infect
Creatures with power 3 or greater don't untap during their controllers' untap steps.
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a -1/-1 counter on each creature with power 3 or greater.
3/6
Interesting thing about that is, if you're running Infect that doesn't hurt you nearly as much as if you were playing normally. Good choice for a compleated card.
Ichor Clock4
Artifact
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player gains a poison counter unless he or she returns a permanent he or she controls to his or her hand.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.

PrimeEVIIILLL Titan :4mana::sympg::sympg:
Creature - Giant Horror (M)
Trample, infect
Whenever ~ enters the battlefield or attacks, you may search your library for up to two creatures cards with infect and put them into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
