Anyway, welcome to my new contest that I decided to create because I was bored. Here's how it works. Every round, I will give you four different card-creating challenges. You can create a card for one of those challenges and PM it to me. After the time is up, I will put up a poll for each challenge containing all the cards that were submitted for that challenge. The top half of the vote winners in each challenge (rounded up) will move on to the next round. We keep going until there is only one left! As the game moves on, the number of challenges for each round will become smaller and smaller. Sound fun? Oh well. It is.
Instead of having everyone sign up and then start the first round (which takes time and is annoying), I'll have anyone who wants to be in PM me their entries for Round 1 straight away. Here are the (four) challenges you can choose from:
[one]
Create an enchantment with an ability that involves discarding cards in some way.
[two]
Create a card with cycling.
[three]
Create a card with a flavourful ability that makes other creatures weaker.
[four]
Create a card that would fit into the Kamigawa block in terms of flavour, mechanics, etc.
Good luck! I'll close signups (and the round) in three days from now.

According to the rules, making some challenges significantly difficult than the others might be a good idea. Since it would force people to make more choice. The easy way with more opponents, or the hard way with less opponents? Beat 10 people in the easy brackets to advance, or just beat 2 people in the hard bracket to advance. What do you think?
And so has more or less incorporated the luck factor into the game.

I already tried to make some challenges harder or easier than others. But in the future they will probably be harder or easier to a more extreme degree, yes.

And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

This is Deraxas we're talking about.
Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

There are only so many epic, psuedonatural barbarian/blackguard half-dragon akutenshai vampire balor paragons they can throw at you, right?

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
