This cube focus on dual colored pairing for archtypes with the special rule of each commander having partner to allow 3-4 color decks with unique designs and synergies
Boros: combat
Simic: +1/+1 counters
Rakdos: sacrifice
Orzhov: Aristocrat/Life gain
Azorious: Blink
Gruul: Ramp/Stomp
Dimir: Graveyard
Golgari: graveyard
Selesnya: Tokens
Izzet:Spellslinger
There is additionally single color archtypes to hold together some archtypes
Blue: draw matters
Blue: self-bounce
Black: reanimator
The overlap in archtypes with dimir and golgari being pretty much the same is necessary for this cube to reduce risk of parasiticy. But, there is plenty of cards to allow different play styles to each color pair.
I give players 4 Curated packs of 22 cards each to create a 60 card deck. With Curated packs, players can draft and be able to change to available colors pretty early on due to the availability of information from drafted packs.
Each pack contains:
3 of each mono colored card
2 gold cards
2 colorless cards
3 land cards
What I need help with is just general opinions on my proportions of card types and cards that I could swap in or out to make my more efficient. I would also like advice on my land section so I could optimize it. I feel like I could afford to have another set of dual lands and replace some mono colored but I want to know what everyone thinks before I buy the remaining cards to complete the cube
