Iymrith, Desert Doom 3UU
Legendary Creature - Dragon (M)
Flying
Iymrith, Desert Doom has ward 4 as long as it's untapped.
Whenever Iymrith, Desert Doom deals combat damage to a player, draw a card. Then if you have fewer than three cards in hand, draw cards equal to the difference.
5/5
A monocolored Dragonlord Ojutai that survives Wildfire. But is anyone in the market for a blue Baneslayer?
I wonder if ojutai was 3UU , would it make a 540 cube? Probably not?
Maybe wildfire survival is the kicker for those who love that card?
This seems darn close to ojutai in both function and power level.
-ward 4 is slightly worse than hexproof
-5 toughness is slightly better than 4 on a creature of this type
-ojutai’s damage ability is better in most decks, worse in a few?
Being Azorius was never really Ojutai's issue (at least before they started printing Teferis), it was always mediocre at best. Surviving Wildfire is cool, but this is generally worse and doesn't really solve Ojutai's issues of being mediocre. Hard to justify over Cavalier of Gales, unless you really hate triple blue.
Cavalier synergies a lot better with blue, in particular Flicker and Miracles. This is a good card, but blue is so tight, cards that contribute to archetypes would get the nod over cards that do not.

I think I like Cavalier of Gales better in most decks/situations, but there are certainly cases where this card will be stronger. In a proactive deck with a lower curve, this monster can draw multiple cards a turn and be pretty scary.
