I think it generally might be related to nighttime mouth-breathing, so if you do that as well, my advice is a hot shower before bed where you actively remove all solids from your nasal passages. Shaving back nose hair can help too. You'll have less sore throats in the mornings as a result. If it's because you're suffering from night terrors, I don't know what to tell you.

nah, man. This is the oldest trick in the book. The obvious question in the title attracts the attention of anyone who has had similar problems so different people can list their solutions and start paying attention. Then, the original poster comes back and posts something like
