I'm a part of a 20 team league. I ended up having to autodraft because I was busy the night we drafted...
Here's where things get interesting. For some reason the autodraft decided I only needed 1 QB. That Quarterback?
David Garrard.
Needless to say I've dropped some needless garbage players to add Rex Grossman, Luke McCown and Blaine Gabbert to my team so I can have something that resembles a QB on my team.

Yea, that move baffled me a bit being so close to the regular season. And I could swear that only a couple hours earlier, they had named him their starter for the season. talk about a stab in the back to Garrard.
Both leagues I'm in, I'm betting on a coin flip with Tavaris Jackson. He's riding my bench in both leagues, but i needed a QB. Hopefully, with Sidney Rice still with him, they'll be a good connection for Seattle. At least in a crappy NFC West.
Having gone to a couple of Jags preseason games by happenstance, I can say that there was not a whole lot of difference between anyone on the QB carousel. Gabbert has a realistic chance to start coming out of the bye.
And it's official, Peyton Manning will not play opening day against the texans.
Anyone who has colts offense on their team should probably bench them - As good as Collins is, he won't be able to keep up sadly.

The difference is extraordinary. There is a HUGE dropoff from Garrard to McCown. Is Garrard an elite QB? Certainly not. But he was the 2nd best 4th quarter QB last year and is better than quite a few starters in the league. This move just cost Del Rio his job as he was told it was playoffs or his job
I've never drafted before and as much as I love college football I don't follow the NFL too heavily. However, this is the first year I drafted and I was just wondering if someone could give my team the eye test.

Basically its the NFL mandating that stadiums post Fantasy Football info during games. I actually like it and find it sort of cool. Plus I think Fantasy Football has been one of the best things for the NFL in terms of fan interest.
but more importantly, We're controlling the Bucs pretty damn good. If we win, all my teams will have won this weekend. Tigers swept the Twins, and Michigan pulled off one hell of a win under the lights at the Big House.
I think some people don't understand that the Mirrans are the bad guys. Arcbound Ravager is Mirran. Phyrexia are the good guys coming in to conquer an evil, evil world.
Chargers win their first game, and I'm honestly not surprised. Vikings have gone downhill this past year.
Chargers usually have a rough start, so I'm not holding my breath just yet.
There is no shortage of upsets this week though. Houston destroying the Colts? Baltimore killing the Steelers? San Francisco annihilating the Seahawks? Buffalo demolishing the Chiefs?
I didn't expect any of those things to happen honestly.

I wouldn't call the Texans beating the Colts an upset when the Colts were minus Manning. They are going to struggle to win games this year as long as he's out.

Yeah, I understand that but I didn't think that it would be that bad. I knew that they would probably lose but not that badly.

San Fran really didnt beat Seattle soundly. SEA gave up 2 kick return TD's at the end of the game

This is a very interesting Week 1 so far.
this is a week 1 to forget... Hopefully Min will win at least...

Cincinatti over Cleveland was also surprising.
Cam Newton looked really good, which did shock me. 422 yards, 2 TDs, and a 64.8% completion rate? That's amazing for your very first NFL game.
My prediction of them going 6-10 may have been on the generous side.
