Simple enough. Which teams do you follow and are you a bandwagon jumper?
Me:
Football - Green Bay Packers (around 94 when I moved to Wisconsin)
Baseball - Atlanta Braves (Around the time they went from Worst to First, also around the time I started paying attention)
Basketball - Orlando Magic (Not really a fan, but it's the local team)
Hockey - Don't really follow
Football - Steelers (or anybody who beats Green Bay. Since I live in MN, I am obliged to dislike the Packers, but I won't claim to be a trueblue Vikings fan either)
Baseball - MN Twins
Basketball - meh... Anybody but the Heat.
Hockey - MN Wild (though I don't really follow it)

Currently knitting: It's a surprise!
Football: Chicago Bears
Baseball: Chicago Cubs
Basketball: Orlando Magic (Penny Hardaway was my favorite!)
Hockey: Chicago Blackhawks
Soccer: Bayern Munich
I fully expect to die before the Cubs ever win a championship, yet I keep watching.
NFL-Packers by birth, my dad said so. But I enjoy good football.
MLB-Brewers use to be my A.L. team, Cubs N.L. Now they are in the same division. I know niether will ever make the world series.
College-the big ten.
glad I'm not the only Habs fan here lol.
Soccer-Chelsea FC.
rugby-club level-London Wasps and Canterbury Crusaders. International-Enlgand and Australia, guess I gotta cheer for Canada as well.
don't really care about baseball or basketball.
don't really care about football either

This is pretty much the same for me, only instead of Magic for BBall I've got the Bulls. I'm a hardcore Chicago sports nut, if the avvy and banner didn't completely give it away. Born there, so no bandwagoning. And honestly, how can you become a bandwagon fan of the Cubs anyway?

NHL - Detroit Red Wings ('88)
NFL - Buffalo Bills ('85)
NCAA Football - Miami Hurricanes ('85), Michigan Wolverines ('88)
NCAA Basketball - Kansas Jayhawks ('88)
NCAA Hockey - Michigan Wolverines ('88)
NBA & MLB - Despise with a passion
Soccer - The MLS is like watching high school JV sports and UEFA, Bundasliga, etc are too hard to follow from Florida. But whenever the Worlds/World Cup are on I pull for the Dutch and Spain
And no, no bandwagon here. I listed the years I started following each team (well I guess technically I could be a "bandwagon" for Kansas because the won the tourney in '88, but....)
Grew up watching sports with my Dad and as a result his teams became my teams. The fact that I am from New York was a huge factor as well.
Football: New York Giants (Two of my brothers are Cowboys fans and my best friend is an Eagles fan. Things get interesting come football season. :))
Basketball: New York Knicks
Baseball: New York Mets
I don't really follow any other sports.
Despite being a native New Yorker I cannot stand the Yankees or Jets. I will root for the Rangers and Bills however.
I think some people don't understand that the Mirrans are the bad guys. Arcbound Ravager is Mirran. Phyrexia are the good guys coming in to conquer an evil, evil world.
NBA: Lakers, Celtics & Bulls in that order.
NFL: Chargers
MLB: Angels
NHL: Ducks
NASCAR: Tony Stewart
I do not consider myself a bandwagon jumper although I will pick teams for each series in the playoffs and root for that team (if it's not one of my teams)

"Keep in mind just one thing when you argue with idiots- they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience."
In short, if they play in Sacramento, I'm willing to root for them (even if I can't afford to go to as many games as I would like). The fact is, I don't know how to drive so I have no chance of seeing any team live in the San Fran Bay Area and I need to be able to see my teams live if I'm going to cheer for them.
Basketball: Hornets fan since the city got the team, and I will gladly say the only man-crush I've ever had is on Chris Paul.
College Sports: LSU Tigers, with a small shout out to the Georgia Southern Eagles (division 2 final 4 ftw!)
NFL Football: WHO DAT NATION!
LSU and the Saints have been my teams since the first second I was in this world. It was bred into me.

While I don't watch a ton of sports, I do have my favorites.
NFL: Cowboys, Vikings, and Packers, in that order.
NHL: Stars and Avalanche
NBA: Eh. Mavs, I guess. Not big on basketball at all.
MLB: Rangers, but I refuse to watch baseball on TV. It is so boring!!
College: We're a Longhorn family 'round these parts
NFL: Saints, Falcons, and Bengals
Saints because they were my first favorite team, and that was because i liked their colors. Still like them for their skills tho. Falcons because i just enjoy seeing them play, Bengals because they just need to stop getting stuck against the best 3 teams of the year and then losing all hope.

Why care about the past, when the present can smack you in the face?:halo:
In regard to the Avalanche, EVERYTHING. I hope everyone past, present, and future that play(ed) for that worthless organization all die the most painful deaths possible. If America is ever attacked again, I hope the first bomb is droped on the Pepsi Center.
My dislike of the Stars stemmed from the time when Turco played there. Both he and Ott were two of the dirtiest players in the league at the time.
The third team on my "go to hell" list is the Ducks.

I thought I hated the Leafs a lot lol, but that makes my hatred towards the Leafs seem very mild.
I wouldn't even wish death or anything upon them because I like seeing the Leafs do bad
I guess that if I had to choose during the Championships and my team isn't there, I would side with:
Football: NFC (as long as it's not the Cowboys. I really don't like the Cowboys)
Baseball: NL (don't really have a team I won't root for)
Basketball: East (as long as it's not the Heat. Sure, I would love the trophy to come to Florida, but I can't stand the Heatles)
Hockey: Again, I don't really follow it, so...Go team that is closest to winning.
I don't follow college but I guess it would default to Florida Gators or University of Central Florida Knights.
I live in a place where there isn't a professional sports team for about a 15 hour drive, so I can choose whatever I want.
NHL: New Jersey Devils (They won the Stanley Cup in 2000, first year I seriously watched hockey and have been my favourite ever since.)
NFL: Used to be the Steelers, but they started winning too much and for some reason I don't like cheering for perennial winners. I know New Jersey made the playoffs for a ridiculous amount of straight seasons, but I'm more attached to them. I'm looking at the Bucs, they're up and coming and Freeman looks like a great QB.
MLB: Cleveland Indians (I mostly just like the logo haha, but they're doing great this year, unlike many many previous years)
NBA: I like specific players like Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant, but have no favourite team.
The only sport I have any real interest in is the MLB. My NL team is the Rockies and my AL team is the Indians (who are playing each other now, ironically). If I had to pick a third favorite team it would be whoever is playing against The Hated Red Sox.
I sorta know what's going on in other sports just because my husband is kind of a sports junkie and has espn on most of the time. I guess if I had to pick a favorite in the other sports it'd be: Patriots in the NFL, Magic in the NBA, and Leafs in the NHL.
