If I make a templating or grammar error, let me know.
The franchise MtG most resembles is Battlestar Galactica. Why? Its players exist in, at most, a dozen different models at any given point in time, with perhaps up to 3% variation, 5% if you're lucky.
It's been quite a while since I saw the movie Avalon, so I'm not sure if it meets all of the criteria for this thread. But the ending did have the most mind blowing twist I can think of.
I'm going to correct some people on The Illusionist: the Orange Tree (and every other trick that is unexplained) have all actually been performed, and they consulted a professional magician on the movements and mannerisms of Eizenheim, who is an amalgamation of quite a few famous historical magicians.
the twist, for anyone who cares, is that while all of his unexplained tricks HAVE been performed (the sword one actually having been performed in a scenario much like that) none of them have actually been explained fully, with The Orange Tree being the most famous one.
I second the Sting. good show, but don't try to learn anything about it beforehand (general-purpose spoiler for these.)
Primer has got to be one of my favorite movies of all time. It's crazy to think how little their budget was for that movie too. Any of you check out Upstream Color, the next movie Shane Curruth made? That one was pretty great as well.

Not just the Tendo King, the power of the Galactic Leyline surpasses that of the Tempa Emperor, No!, It's magnificent power is even greater than that!
