Was looking at this at the store the other day, looked kinda cool but was looking to see if I could find anyone who was familiar with it, get some opinions.
It's a pretty fun game, though people will need to know it's cooperative. It's important to fully explore locations, but if the character there isn't able to close the location, or acquire the boons (that would benefit someone else), it could hamper the quest objective. Happened to me once, we ran out of time trying to hunt down the villain.
It's best to get a core playgroup established and stick with them. you don't want a new player with a basic deck trying to help in a mid-campaign quest.
Basically, it's a cooperative deck building game, each player chooses amongst the core Pathfinders, then from amongst the cards they build a basic deck based on that character. Seoni the Sorceress uses Spells, and Valeros the Fighter uses weapons and armor.
As they explore various locations, you can encounter boons [loot, allies, spells, etc] or banes [monsters, traps, etc]. You can acquire boons through skill checks and add them to your deck for the remainder of the encounter; and defeat banes the same way. Fail, boons go away and banes have a detrimental effect.
At the end of the encounter, you can trade cards from your basic deck from the cards acquired [by any player] during the encounter.
my only complaint so far, is that if multiple players acquire the same elite boon [stuff that you acquire while exploring], and you only have a limited number those cards- someone is going to have to get shorthanded.

I haven't played in cooperatively, but I've played solo numerous time (using two characters, of course!) and it is a blast to play. I don't have anything to add to Selvaxri's post, but just wanted to give you another vote in the affirmative!
Also, they just came out with a pirate-themed set, which looks pretty cool.
