As the question asks, what type of gaming do you like to play? Do you like video games, table top games, card games, board games, or something else gaming related? Feel free to talk about individual games.
Well, here's the thing: I own a Mac and am a Nintendo gamer.
So... Yeah. Rather limited inherently with regards to video gaming.
Plus I don't really have the time to do competitive gaming. It would be cool to be a competitive Dota player, that would be awesome, but my friends all quit Dota due to the vitriol of the scene, and frankly, it's always cool to be good at something, but the question is would you have fun putting in all the time it takes to be good at something, and the answer is "I don't know." Likewise, I don't have a lot of friends near me who play Super Smash Bros., so I don't think I'll ever be good at that. Plus, I'm rather a guy who tends to pick my favorite characters, and my favorite characters are seldom high tier. I guess I'm casual to the core.
This extends to Magic. I don't really play Magic outside of the occasional FNM booster draft, because it's just not the most accessible game, and I'd rather be playing video games. I still find it kind of fun though. I just don't know if I'd ever care enough to put that much time into being competitive.
I mostly play video games, particularly RPGs. I enjoy board games, particularly ones like Arkham Horror, but I am not really knowledgeable about them, and being someone from a small family and without many friends in the immediate area who play board games, don't really have the opportunity to play too many. And again, there's the time factor. *Sigh*
Lately, I've become part of a casual-oriented playgroup. We like to play paranoia games (such as The Resistance) and light strategy games (such as Takenoko or Small World). I am slowly introducing the group to more "crunchier" stuff now.
As an individual gamer, I prefer RPGs (both pen & paper and digital) and strategy games. Some of my favourite franchises include Pokemon, Mass Effect, and Fire Emblem. Obviously, I am also a Magic player; I've been playing this game since Judgement was the latest block, though Odyssey was my first booster (foil Catalyst Stone was the rare), because the name "Odyssey" was (and is) to me approximately one trillion times cooler than "Judgement".
I've also been playing Storium, which I backed when it was on Kickstarter. I haven't had the time to play it for several months though.
I've found that for my single-player experience, the narrative experience probably trumps gameplay. If a game has a story that really appeals to me, I can put up with a lot of stuff.
I play all types of games. Card games, miniature wargames, and RPGs are my favorites.
Warhammer 40k is great. I've played it for a few years now, and love it. If you don't already play it, I recommend you check out Games Workshop's website for Warhammer 40k. The game is a little pricey though...
tbh the only game I play a lot of is Magic but when I do play video games, I enjoy RPGs with a lot of dungeon crawling/exploring. I just love clearing out a dungeon, regardless of how big the dungeon was
Over the past 3-4 years I've been slowly stepping back from Magic. Although throughout my life I've definitely invested the most time and money into Magic, in my recent adult life I'm just getting burned out at the constant influx of money I have to put into the game in order to "keep up" on some level.
I've converted all of value in my collection into 2 cubes and 3 Commander decks. I'm now done with constructed Magic.
Over this period of ~3 years where I was taking a step back from Magic, I started getting into hobby tabletop games.
Some of the great games I've discovered in this corner of the hobby are: King of Tokyo (also designed by Richard Garfield), Cosmic Encounter (the game that inspired the creation of Magic: the Gathering), Forbidden Desert, Star Realms (made by a previous pro Magic player), Blood Rage (designed by Eric Lang, a previous Magic designer), Xia: Legends of a Drift System.... there are really so many great hobby games out there. I'm discovering more all the time and really enjoying "branching out" in my gaming.
It just feels weird after a while putting all of your resources into just ONE game (Magic)!
I like 2D platform games. I know it is too old but still, I like it. I like kabuki quantum fighter I loved it and it is my favorite. It is very interesting. The theme and UI are good but I liked the characters mostly because of their unique appearance especially their face. People Play theatre art by wearing old traditional dresses along with traditional masks such as kitsune, evil kabuki masks, and many other types of masks during performances which makes it even better.
I like a variety of stuff. I like traditional board games and card games, mainly word ones like Scrabble, Boggle, and Bananagrams. I like "nerdier" games like MTG as well as Sentinels of the Multiverse (that might be my favorite game, actually). I like tabletop RPGs, having played a couple different editions of D&D, Pathfinder, and one that a friend of mine created. And I like video games. As far as tabletop games go, I mainly like word games (as mentioned) and cooperative games, but I'll at least try most things once.
For video games, I mainly play 2D platformers/action games and JRPGs, which is kind of unfortunate, because there's really only one series of the latter that's still active and consistently good (Trails, or Kiseki), and the former is too outside of the mainstream to get consistent releases. I dabble in other genres sometimes; I'll play some 3D platformers, but I despise collectathons and find the Crash Bandicoot/Super Mario 3D World style much more fun (and even then, I didn't like Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time because of how unreasonably difficult it was, especially when going for any sort of completion), so I'm lucky to get a 3D platformer that I like twice a decade. I also have had fun with certain casual puzzle games, such as Cubis and Dynomite (and other things that were on MSN in 2003), and I like the original RollerCoaster Tycoon. I also enjoy most of the Kroz games, even though there's no real reason why I should like them. I don't generally like Metroidvania-style games, but Mega Man ZX and its sequel were decent.
It depends on the platform for me. On a PC, I like to play 4X strategy games like Civilization, Master of Orion, or Endless Space_2. If I'm on a console, I love single player RPGs...

I love to play Minecraft with my friends. Minecraft is a popular sandbox video game developed and published by Mojang Studios. The game allows players to explore a procedurally generated 3D world, gathering resources and using them to build structures and craft tools, weapons, and other items. It's a really good game.
