It really tickles me pink when I see a background endorsement of Magic in my favorite shows.
I just found out that Gilfoyle from Silicon Valley is a huge Magic enthusiast, donning a Magic beer coozie, a plastic Ultra Pro deck box and a Rivals of Ixalan fatpack box ALL in one shot, lol (Season 5, Episode 6).
What shows and movies are you aware of that have slipped in a Magic endorsement? Screenshot as proof would be awesome!
Not precisely Magic per se, In Craig of the Creek, at last one episode depicts the characters with items clearly drawn from Magic the Gathering. For instance, one of the teens wears a T-Shirt with the Planeswalker symbol, albeit missing one prong. The characters also discuss a card game. In a different episode the characters do play a card game but I missed all of the footage of the actual game itself. However, at the very end, the older brother gives his valuable cards to his younger brother on the condition he keeps them sleeved.
A Dungeons and Dragons clone also appears to be depicted in the show.
I suspect they didn't show the actual games themselves since the show is geared for the under 13 crowd or it might be a licensing issue. More likely the latter.
