I guess we're not going with Guess Who, but that's okay! Big problems still to address, but we have fresh moderator blood and he's much more sensible than I am, so hopefully we'll get something in place before the year is through (note: hyperbole). I'm still very eager to hear your and your clans' ideas to improve the subforum + clan participation in general. What better time to spruce things up than spring, eh?
Also I'd like your opinions on holding an open forum for this to bypass council Red Tape entirely.
Ooops.
I'm truly sorry, I totally forgot that I was supposed to run CC. It was buried somewhere deep in my mind after CC-mafia began and I participated in it...
(Rhand, I blame you for this. )

I'm sorry I forgot to re-introduce myself earlier everyone.
I'm busying myself learning the new workings of the curse forums, as well as starting a new school year and other life busy-ness. Things should calm down shortly, however, and then we mods will get to work in earnest.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
We are planning to merge our clan thread with the mafia theory and discussion thread of the mafia subforum to generate more activity in the clan thread.
The mafia thread would link to the clan thread.
I personally don't see a problem with it; you would only have to be wary of membership clashes, especially when it pertains to clan contests. Also, I'm not familiar with the mafia subforum rulings, but and the mods over there may not want issues raised with them from all the way over here where they can't touch them.
... and now that it's over, I guess we could move on to the next contest?
I can still do the Guess Who -game (that is closer to Dixit than anything else). I'd just like to hear some feedback regarding it. (And since the scoring and all the numbers are related to the number of people participating, those aren't set in stone yet for obvious reasons).

@Rhand: Please post mafia standings when you have the time. I'll try to get the scoreboard up to date sometime this week.
@Also Rhand: How's the Mafia transplant? Let me know if you need anything done.
@Bur: I don't really know what scoring voodoo you're planning to do, but that's fine. Post a signup thread when everything's in order and let's jam. Also let us know if you need help. Forum games can be hard work and I'm sure we're all fine with lending a hand!
Sit tight for big updates. Believe it or not, but the mods here actually do things sometimes.
Pregame: Each clan chooses X members amongst their clan and sends an quizzical hint about their identity.
How to Play:
Hints and people behind them are revealed and people try to combine the hint and the identity. These hints can be anything - be creative!
Correct answers and clans' answers are posted.
Other clans' judge others' hints.
Right Answers: How much did you guess correctly? (See scoring table below)
Creativity: Were the hints creative?
Difficulty: Were the hints solvable yet not too easy?
Scoring table
If some people, but not everyone guesses the hint correctly, they all and the clan who submitted the hint get all 3 points.
If no one or everyone guesses the hint correctly, everyone except the clan who submitted the hint gets 2 points.
The score for "Right Answers" comes from the percentage.
0-9% -> 0 points
10-20% -> 1 point
20-29% -> 2 points
30-45% -> 3 points
46-60& -> 4 points
60%-100% -> 5 points
Note: The parameter X depends on how many clans participate. More clans -> smaller X.
If there's still time left this year, pikachugundam has offered to run an Anime Trivia Contest.
I can have him come here and post his ideas for it if there's enough interest.

My 3 judging categories will be Willpower, Skill and Creativity.
Willpower measures the willpower of the clan to answer 70 questions (of easy to medium level weighted appropriately to get to 5 points)
Skill measures the ability to process my cryptic clues... 20 relatively hard questions weighted appropriately to get to 5 points.
Creativity will be my little creative exercise. TBA. I have a few ideas...
1. Create a Magic card for an anime character/anime item.
2. Create a variation of the Unlimited Blade Works mantra for your clan
3. Storytime. Gender bending is okay. Create a short list of character bios at the beginning for more storytime and less character development.
-5 of your clan members are in an anime high school romantic comedy. Write a short story about it.
-7 of your clan members are in an anime magical high school and each represent one of the 7 deadly sins who has their own magic powers. Write a short story about a day in the life.
-3 clan members are mobile suit pilots for the Earth Federation in the war against Zeon (or Zeon pilots in the war against the Earth Federation). Write a short adventure story.
-some number of clan members are part of a Naruto-esque ninja village. Write a short story about a day in the life.
-some number of clan members are all crew of a One Piece pirate ship. Write a short story about a day in the life.
-some other anime related story like being trapped in a video game, or being a travelling merchant with a wolf-god companion.
4. Create your own anime synopsis with your clan as a theme. (ie Spirit of EDH could be an anime about playing EDH like YuGiOh or Vanguard, Family could be an anime about mafia families like Baccano or Gungrave, Crafters can be an anime about crafting things like Yakitate Japan or Gundam Build Fighters). In other words, write a short summary of what your clan anime will be about. For examples, see AnimeNewsNetwork and anidb.
5. Choose an anime character that represents your clan. Explain.
Riffing off the "story about your members" idea, why not just have people write ... a story about your members!
If we need a unifying theme, make it Magic.
MTGS Clan Writing Contest EmTeGeEsClaNoWriMo
Each clan writes a short story set in the Magic universe using at least three of their own members as Planeswalkers!
Entries are judged based on three criteria:
Plot: Is the plot exciting? Is there a beginning, a middle, and an end? Ridiculous or serious, it doesn't matter as long as it's interesting!
Entertainment: Is it fun to read? Did it get your heart racing and your pages turning?
Mary Sueness: Let's face it, if we're going to write ourselves, we may as well go all-out. Bonus points for ridiculous yet appropriate characterization!
This is probably not a good idea but what do you want from me

Who is our new moderator?
What does 'open forum' mean?

Will do so asap, but might not be too soon.
The scoring for mafia: I still don't know how it's done
Edit: the scores
Mafia mvp: 15 - The Family
Mafia lvp: 8 - Flamingo
Town mvp: 8 - Brigade
Town: 5 - Crafters
Town: 5 - Gaymers
Town: 5 - EDH
Town lvp: 2 - Tolarian Academy

@Rhand: They're supposed to be totaled in the OP, but OP is lazy.
Speaking of OPs, we still have that atrocious banner. Kind of indicative of how this year has been running when you think about it.
