I have a Horde of Notions deck that ended up turning into the "Infinite Combo Deck". The deck could instantly win by Tooth and Nail -> Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel if I wanted to, but I usually don't do it like that (unless I were hypothetically in a competitive environment, but usually not). There are quite a few random three-card infinite combos in there though (although almost all cards involved are somewhat useful on their own, so it's not like a total random mess type of deck).
(My Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund deck isn't so friendly, however. It gets dragons out to scare people, and then suddenly (if you don't know it's in the deck)... this happens.)
@Katie: Alright, sounds simple enough. I guess that will be my preferred short form for referring to you then!
Ahhh, nice! Do you use Karrthus himself much? Didn't he get a little nerfed by the legend ruling?
Also, @Pegasusbishop, what did you think of my Sharuum deck? I guess I should mention that I omitted the fact that you can kind of go infinite with Mindslaver, but that's mostly because that's only really a kill if they have no artifact destruction or anything like that.
Karrthus? The dragon-stealing ability doesn't come up very often. He's a commander that swings for 7 though, which does put the pressure on.

Since I posted in here a few times, I might as well just write some short details so you know who I am...
I hug people. (Not inside the Magic game though.)
I'm a [Crafter], just like PG is. My hobbies are piano playing, and I also make some (extremely difficult) music quizzes.
My stage name is Mr. Sharp. I have "pretended" to be female on MTGS in the past, but hardly anything good came out of that. (It's been two years since I broke the Stained Glass, so to say...)
I'm not a gymnast, but I do possess the ability to jump a visible distance off the floor and land on my feet without falling over. For some reason this seems to be a fairly rare ability among [The Crafters], though I'm not sure if that's true here or not.

Guys, when next Guess Who - Clans Edition comes, I want you to remember this that time.

Yeah, I've noticed. I tried your puzzles once and decided to give up after that.
My stage name is Mr. Sharp. I have "pretended" to be female on MTGS in the past, but hardly anything good came out of that. (It's been two years since I broke the Stained Glass, so to say...)
I could comment on this one, but maybe I'll refrain...

I belong to this same group. I'm not really good in gymnastics, but I'm quite flexible when it comes to my joints and I jump pretty high. I mean, we had dodge ball tournament this summer, and when guys tried to aim at my torse, I jumped over the ball with no effort. I ended up losing, when they tried to pass the ball over me (like 1m over my head) and I jumped as a reflex it ended up hitting my chest...

But yeah, I'll be making a new thread after Chemtrails stops avoiding my and answers my PM. Then you'll get a new thread with maybe-or-maybe-not-lame-name.
And since I'm in the mood, I'll probably even change my avatar soon... after I figure out the next one I want to use and that fits the pattern...
If my current music quiz is too hard, expect an easier one probably this weekend. Keep in mind that the one I linked to in my sig currently was intended to be difficult, while the next one I make will be intended to be easier.
And you totally blew my expectations out of the water there... from the looks of that it seems like you're jumping about 130 cm straight up or so (nearly three times what I could do). When I said "a visible distance", I was thinking more like around 30 cm straight up or so (though technically 5 cm would be visible too).
@Katie: I really like your Sharuum list and I reaaaaaaallly want to play something like it. I don't really want to play Sharuum or Oloro (Hate reasons). I can't seem to find a way to get Sydri, Galvanic Genius to work (But I love her soooooooo much). I made a decent Ertai, the Corrupted deck that is quite fun to play, but is very slow. Maybe Merieke Ri Berit or Sen Triplets? Hmmm
Nice to meet you Laser. On behalf of myself and probably others here I welcome you to our thread!
Yeah, that's true too. Usually the easy quizzes I make are the ones that aren't related to music, such as word ladders for example.
(In a word ladder, each word differs from the previous by one letter. For example, WORD -> CORD -> COLD. Watch out for the short time limit though - typical word ladders on Sporcle use the guideline of 10 words per minute, so this one, with 14 words in 2 minutes, is actually being more generous than average.)
On another note... do any of you play with Planechase or Archenemy cards?
I have played a 9 player game of EDH with planechase cards. It was the most fun I've ever had playing Magic ever. Sadly the friend who owned the Planar deck moved and no one else in the playgroup wants top drop $90 on another one.
It took 4 hours and ended with the Glissa and the Kruphix left. On the Glissa's turn, he planeswalked away from Tazeem after the Kruphix player had drawn more than half his library with the chaos ability. The Glissa landed on Skybreen, then used all her super elf mana to roll the die 8 times and hit the chaos ability, killing the Kruphix player.
My stage name is Mr. Sharp. I have "pretended" to be female on MTGS in the past, but hardly anything good came out of that. (It's been two years since I broke the Stained Glass, so to say...)
Weird fact, for awhile on MTGS I pretended to be male (was kind of intimidated, especially not knowing many female magic players at the time.) and then just got pretty ambiguous about my gender for awhile.
@PegasusBishop: Either seems good, but if you want to go with a list similar to mine, I think Sen would be more useful. The are a lot of boardwipes in the deck and they get used liberally. Merieke's ability might not end up mattering a whole lot.
I have a good deal of Planechase cards, but my group doesn't play very often. If I recall correctly, we got stuck on Lethe Lake for, like, 5 rounds and everyone's libraries ended up in their graveyards. Since everyone runs at least a bit of recursion it wasn't horrible, but at the same time, no one really liked it... quite a traumatizing experience. Also, we don't typically pour a lot of our mana resources into rolling the die, so we sometimes forget about the planes altogether... XP
I wish I could play it more, but it would require building a more "fun" deck. Maybe once I build that pirate/sea monster/high-seas-of-the-multiverse deck...
Weird fact, for awhile on MTGS I pretended to be male (was kind of intimidated, especially not knowing many female magic players at the time.) and then just got pretty ambiguous about my gender for awhile.
I remember. I won't list any details, but I remember.
For a while I've been on a quest of sorts to find a female singer who could "be Aurora" for my band... and apparently that's a lot harder than I thought, so I might just have to split the role into separate parts.
("Being Aurora" has some demanding physical requirements, such as the ability to jump, among other things.)
@PegasusBishop: Wow, that's a long game... but that's an awesome finish.
Once, in a three-player game, we were on Naar Isle. On my turn, it had 7 counters on it. I had a high life total (thanks to a stolen Kokusho, the Evening Star), and my opponents didn't... so I kinda ended the game by reducing my opponents' life totals to the point where they would suffer a death by Naar Isle. (Oh no, the floor is lava...)
I'm pretty sure you can build them pretty much like Sharuum.
I think there are a few cards that help you cast off-color things, even in edh, right? You might want to add that (those?)
Hehe, Sharp. This was back in, like, 2012 and I was stupid anyway
For planechase games, I think one of my favorites was a duel commander match where we got an early Lethe Lake while I was playing Mimeoplasm. Pretty sure a giant Lord of Extinction killed him really, really quickly.
Yeah, I broke the Stained Glass around September 2012 as well, I think. I had to change that when I realized I couldn't get away with being faceless forever (since I plan to get somewhere with my music later on). However, my previous persona still lives on in the roleplaying world, and also as the face of my band (that's the Aurora that I mentioned in my previous post... and "being Aurora" is not as easy as I first thought, apparently).
Sometimes we throw some custom planes into the mix. One of them said "All creatures have undying"... that plane got scrapped/nerfed shortly after (the Ghave, Guru of Spores player took too much advantage of it).
I want something raving themed so i was thinking Momir big but i hear that he get hate.
I was also thinking teysa orzohv scion because she is very powerful and does not get hated to much
or a nin the pain artist i know it is not a ravnica card i think it fits very well.
I was also thinking a mishra stax deck although it is not ravnica.
So my question is How much does Momir get hated on?
I Teysa a strong late game general?
Is nin any good at multiplayer edh?
Is mishra a good idea to build because it is competitive or is it a fun casual deck?

Like a lot of EDH decks, if unchecked, Momir Vig can get out of hand really quickly. I don't think it gets that much hate though if the rest of the table is playing commanders of the same caliber.
Teysa, depending on how you build her, can be amazing late game.
Nin spreads the love while keeping creatures in check, so she's fine for multiplayer. She's hilarious with Stuffy Doll.
As for Mishra... I'd rather run a different general for those colors since his ability will not work in commander...
How does Mishra work with Possibility Storm? Cast an artifact, Possibility Storm tucks the card and gets you another, then Mishra gets you the original artifact again?
PG, Mishra's ability does work in commander. Since his ability searches your library, graveyard and hand for cards with same name, if you somehow end up getting the card you casted from the stack to any of those zones before Mishra's ability resolves, you get it back. For this reason, Possibility Storm and Nether Void are quite often seen in Mishra builds, since Mishra negates NV's ability and with PS it allows you to get your original artifact back after PG has resolved...

I don't ALTER per se, but I made a full art proxy for Drana (using art for Rize Kamishiro from Tokyo Ghoul) and printed it out.
I do funny sharpie alters on crap cards, too. "Turn to slag" became "Turn to Swag" and "Mirror of Fate" became "Mirror of Hate" (for the first, I put a chain and sunglasses on the dying nim. For the second, I drew a big frowny face on the mirror)
So everyone in the Crafters Secret Santa got their Christmas presents. How is your Secret Santa going? I've read that a few have received...

If you really want to step up your elf game, I recommend Umbral Mantle, Sword of the Paruns or both. Staff of Domination can also work there.
And that is VERY weird. Seriously?
