Hail! I have internet once again! It travels with me in my pocket. :3
I like the idea of intra-clan competition. Let's do it!
Shorty: I'll apply for the elder dragon post, that is, if it's not taken already.
So the current applicants are Dangit12 and madhatter00o. Honestly, I would prefer madhatter00o being in this position, since he's constantly commenting on the clan and is a significant part. My vote goes to him. What does everyone else think?
EDIT: Are you also interested in being the clan rep?
I can lead it if you want me to. Another option, if everyone is good enough at custom card creation, would be a Design Your Own Commander Precon contest. The CCL this month is sort of doing that. You'd just make a 100-card decklist with 50 commons (including Command Tower), 32 uncommons (including 6 brand new cards plus Sol Ring), 15 rares (including 6 brand new cards), and 3 mythic rares (including your new commander). You can't use Reserved List cards at all.
When everyone's done, we can have the top few submissions play each other on Cockatrice!
You don't have to lead this if you don't want to, but I think you're the most qualified for doing it, and you have plenty of good ideas (creating this whole deck thing would be super fun!). If you want to work on putting this together, you have my two thumbs up!
I see we ended up with a Elder spot open, I gotta read a couple pages back. Been busy with my daughter, and watching my little sister (11) since my mother had to go help my grandmother for a bit.
Gonna work on my EDH decks tomorrow, hopefully build a 60 card deck or two as well for a new play group.
I'm all in favor of a "Design a general" competition Now that I think about it, I've created a few complete sets, naturally including many legendary creatures, but they are all more or less unsuitable in Commander
So the current applicants are Dangit12 and madhatter00o. Honestly, I would prefer madhatter00o being in this position, since he's constantly commenting on the clan and is a significant part. My vote goes to him. What does everyone else think?
I second this, madhatter would be a good addition to Elder Dragons.

To give you an idea of what a final result would look like, this would be it. For selecting reprints in the deck, I gave priority to thematic cards as well as casual favorites and cards never printed in the modern frame before. The rules for rarity balancing would likely be 50 commons, 30 uncommons, 17 rares (one of which must be a new legendary creature), and 3 mythics (one of which must be a new legendary creature, and one of which must be a legendary creature, new or old.)
Ace, Ultimate Predator3BRG
Legendary Creature - Human Warrior Shaman {M}
As long as you control a Dragon, Ace, Ultimate Predator gets +3/+3 and has flying. 2RG, Tap an untapped Dragon creature you control: That creature deals damage equal to its power to another target creature. Hunting from Karrthus' back, Ace is the most feared predator in all of Jund. 4/4
Aniso of the Cicatrice5BG
Legendary Creature - Dragon {R}
Flying, deathtouch, trample
Whenever a creature dies, put a +1/+1 counter on Aniso of the Cicatrice.
Remove two +1/+1 counters from Aniso: Regenerate Aniso. Flying on insectoid wings, her deadly toxin and superior mobility scare away even other dragons from her nesting and hunting grounds. 4/4
Baton of Leadership3
Artifact {U} T: Add 1 to your mana pool. T: Add X mana in any combination of colors to your mana pool, where X is the number of times your commander has been cast from the command zone plus one. Spend this mana only to cast your commander.

Choose two target creatures controlled by different players. Those creatures fight each other. When one of those creatures dies this turn, put X +1/+1 counters on the other, where X is the power of the creature that died. It's a dragon eat dragon world in Jund.
Firewing Triad4RR
Tribal Sorcery - Dragon {R}
Put three 3/3 red Dragon creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield. The mother's three hatchlings brought home a bigger meal than she had ever caught alone.
Hellkite Adolescent2RR
Creature - Dragon {U}
Flying
When Hellkite Adolesecent enters the battlefield, it deals 3 damage to target creature or player. At age ten, Jund hunters take on the Dark Climb. It is a quest to climb a volcano's peak, and the goal often involves fighting a young dragon. 3/3
Lava Geyser1R
Sorcery {U}
Lava Geyser deals 5 damage to target creature. Jund's surface is populated with volcanoes, rifts, and other features of tectonic instability. A plume of lava can erupt from almost anywhere in the valleys, taking an unsuspecting band of hunters with it.
Roaring Hellkite2RRR
Creature - Dragon {R}
Flying, haste
When Roaring Hellkite enters the battlefield, creatures can't block this turn. The battle cry of a dragon is so terrifying that its prey is often scared completely stiff--an easy meal. 5/5

Search your library for a land card and reveal that card. If it has an activated ability that isn't a mana ability, put it into your hand. Otherwise, put it onto the battlefield tapped. Then shuffle your library. At the center of Mount Worldheart is a cache of sangrite so vast it holds a power greater than that of any dragon to ever fly Jund's skies.
Shriek of Flame4RR
Tribal Enchantment - Dragon {R}
Whenever a Dragon creature you control dies, it deals damage equal to its power to each creature without flying and each player. When a dragon of Jund becomes too old to hunt, it finds an unstable volcano, then dives straight into the crater, causing an enormous eruption.
Undying Temper3BR
Sorcery {U}
Put target creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control. That creature gains haste until end of turn. To a deathgreeter, a dragon is never truly dead.
Village Devourer5RR
Creature - Dragon {R}
Flying, haste
Sacrifice another creature: Village Devourer gets +3/+0 until end of turn. Though many of Jund's dragons will ignore humans in favor of tastier prey, some are known to indiscriminately feast on entire tribes of hunters. 5/5
Worldheart Dragon3RRR
Creature - Dragon {R}
Flying R: Worldheart Dragon gets +1/+0 until end of turn.
Whenever Worldheart Dragon attacks, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature defending player controls. This terror of the skies spews fireballs at the speed of a longbow's arrow, leaving large craters in their wake. 4/4

I'm really excited about it, the same way I was for Innistrad. Unfortunately, when the set actually comes out, I'll be a little less thrilled. I might be getting a box, but my luck with cracking packs (that are mine) leaves a lot to be desired.
As for this custom card contest, the only problem I'm having is what colors to select.
By the way, Raikou, I loved that Basandra list of yours- it made for a great reference and gave me some good ideas. It's been a fun deck to play in the last week or so.
Also, I never regret the inclusion of Pyroblast or Red Elemental Blast. They're both such powerful cards, and when you're playing primarily multiplayer, they're never going to be a dead draw. Just finished a game on MTGO where the Sharuum player forgot my hellkite tyrant had trample, lost all of his artifacts...then tried bouncing my very full field with Rift. Pyroblast says no! Next turn, he sculpting steels the mirrorworks I now have, and tries playing Sharuum with a full gy. Red Elemental Blast again says no! He gave up right after.
I think it'd be fun. When does everyone want to start?

Dangit, you got jund!!! Its the only EDH colors I know!!! JK Lol
Is it ok if we do similar colors for the decks (this is bound to happen) because I honestly only know the main staples of Jund (my real life deck) and really want to do it.
Really nice that you chose to reprint Greater Good in your list, I really want to see this reprinted (because I need one!). It needs some love.
Also, can you lay out how many cards need to be new, just to get a set number?
Repeating colors is okay, though it's discouraged. Use a new set of colors if you can.
As for numbers of new cards, let's go for 13 to 15 new cards. 6 uncommons, 6 rares, 1 mythic, plus at your choice, 1 rare or mythic, and 1 of any rarity. Also you do need to keep your eye on the secondary market--remember, these decks are supposed to MSRP for $29.99. Nothing ridiculous in them like Wasteland.
Also shorty, mind getting on cockatrice? I'm itching for a game.
ok so i just made a niv mizzet the firemind edh deck so since my local doesnt really like infinite combos and such i made this deck tell me whatcha like.

I honestly don't know how to build good cards for other colors, so I'm going with Jund, but I'll definitely take a different approach to it than you did, pulling away from the big dragon theme. Maybe a little more in the sacrificial theme etc.
And I'm down for some cockatrice. I'll use my clan deck! (Vaevictis Asmadi, in my sig)
Might wanna use Magic Set Editor instead--MTG Cardsmith makes them look ugly. Also, you'll want to research how cards are templated--I'm a real stickler about proper templating and will deduct a lot of points for bad templating.

There may be a few syntax errors and may be broken, but I like where he's at. I might tweak him some more and come up with a decklist later.
I could see that being black/red instead of jund, but it seems like a fairly balanced card imo. Strong ability if it manages to connect each time, but potentially easy to fizzle. Is he inspired by anything?
Okay! I think I've got something that isn't super-OP, but would make a powerful general when used properly. It's also kind of a combination of all my favorite control-y sort of things, so it might not be terribly original... either way, I'd use it
I think it would be really unbalanced at a low-CMC, hence it costs 6 to drop, 8 the time at that, and so on.. Also, I'm bringing Shades back because that's an awesome creature type and it's high-time we have a sweet Shade general!
So the current applicants are Dangit12 and madhatter00o. Honestly, I would prefer madhatter00o being in this position, since he's constantly commenting on the clan and is a significant part. My vote goes to him. What does everyone else think?

I think it would be really unbalanced at a low-CMC, hence it costs 6 to drop, 8 the time at that, and so on.. Also, I'm bringing Shades back because that's an awesome creature type and it's high-time we have a sweet Shade general!
Let me know what y'all think!
Edit: I'll probably add flavour text later.
Thank you to Rivenor for this awesome banner!
