What do you think of the cards being tweaked now? Better? Worse? Don't be afraid to let me know!
other than that being a hella strong wincon on that last one it seems good. I don't mind the hella strong wincon though it's cool, though you should get rid of the mana part, you realize it blows up all lands then you get mana from each land essentially then more mana!

You realize I cut the land thing, right? Now it's just a non-demon creature wipe that throws in some extra mana. Yes, sometimes you might end up with more mana than you started with (token spam, I'm looking at you) but I feel like it should work fairly well AND can have drawbacks on yourself too (not every card in the precon will be a demon, although there will be several).
Compare it to something like Plague Wind, a one-sided field wipe for 9. Mine is not quite one-sided+extra mana at a harder casting cost (although not super hard for 2 color) and only 8 cmc. I'm pretty sure the mana boost is also going to be a lot worse than card draw like on Decree of Pain, so it seems playable, but not broken completely in half.
I think it balanced out OK in the end. It's powerful in the right deck, unexciting in the wrong ones.
As much as I love Wave of Reckoning, I don't think it's the one I will highlight after all. So here are all my cards, final. Power RestraintWU
Enchantment - Aura [UN]
Enchant Creature
Enchanted Creature gets -6/-0 and gains defender. Kneel3WU
Instant [R]
As an additional cost to Kneel tap X creatures.
Tap X creatures. If they are attacking, remove them from combat. They don't untap during their owners next untap step. Kame, the Last Kappa3UU
Legendary Creature - Turtle Wizard [Time Spiral Style (Alternate Reality/White Text) MR]
[3], [Tap]: Exile target instant or sorcery spell. (The spell has no effect.)
[3], [Tap]: You may cast a card exiled with Kame, the Last Kappa without paying its mana cost. Kame, the Last Kappa doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step.
[P-2][T-4] Reprints Shield Sphere [UN] Mirari's Wake [R] Meekstone [R]
Meekstone seems like a better highlight given what Kneel can accomplish. Although I have no doubt Wave of Reckoning would be in the decklist. In case you're wondering why I highlighted Kame's white text, it's because I based him off Shell of the Last Kappa except... ya know.. less.. just a shell. So, alternate reality.. he is the Last Kappa, still kicking, because stop killing dang potential Legendary Turtles..
Phasing doesn't cause permanents to trigger abilities. When it phases out or back in, it doesn't change zones.
Good point. Fixed.
Now that I edited two of the cards, I also changed one of the reprints.

Arcane Labrador :1mana::symg::symu:
Creature — Dog Advisor (U)
Exalted
When Arcane Labrador enters the battlefield, draw a card. Only the dog knows for sure.
2/3
Doggelgänger :3mana::symu::symu:
Creature — Dog Shapeshifter (R)
When Doggelgänger enters the battlefield, you may reveal a creature card from your hand. If you do, Doggelgänger enters the battlefield as a copy of the revealed card.
2/4
Sow of Temptation :1mana::symw:
Creature — Pig Wizard (U)
Flash
When Sow of Temptation enters the battlefield, gain control of all permanents you own.
:symu:: Exile Sow of Temptation. Return it to the battlefield under its owner’s control at the beginning of the next end step.

The spoiler is finally ended! Excluding some funny uncommons and the super-gorgeus Akroan 20/20 with trample, nothing new really really good for commander imho.

Depends on your point of view. I was hoping for new stuff for old decks. All I got was new stuff for new decks. Sigarda is disappointed, but I see things for a future Black/Green deck and Black/Blue deck.

I honestly wasn't very impressed by the other spoiled cards... This set might be a dud as far as playable cards, but I'm not sure... The gods and their weapons were good though!

By other spoiled cards, I assume you mean the last 100 or so. All the rares were already spoiled, so all we had left were commons and uncommons. This set is strange in that there are a lot of commons I want. Generally, since I only play EDH, commons aren't that useful, but cards like Aqueous Form is just silly. I'm thinking its about time to build that Pauper deck I've been putting off.
Whenever someone says "I wasn't very impressed" or "This set wasn't very good," I just remember that someone said that about the set before this and the set before that.
Ok, there are some pretty useful things for some decks, but I was kind of disappointed in the fact that there were only 5 global enchantments. Everything else is an aura/creature, and that seemed strange to me. I was hoping for some low cost amazing global enchantments, but I didn't get those sadly... I do think the auras in the set are fantastic for limited (and some constructed) but I just get this feeling like something is missing... Maybe I'm just crazy or something...
EDIT: Sorry, 10 global enchantments, since the gods sort of count as this too.
Reprints look fine, and Harsh Mercy needs a reprint badly.
Mul Daya Spellbreaker:
Design (7.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: Tuktuk Scrapper except geen and for enchantments. Yawn. (-2 pt.)
Elegance: No issues.
Potential: Timmy likes repeatable, and Spike sees this as a solid engine in the right Limited environment. (-0.5 pt)
Development (10/10 pts.)
Balance: cf. Tuktuk Scrapper. No issues.
Viability: Definitely green.
Polish (4.5/5 pts.)
Abilties should be a single ability.
Total: 22/25 pts.
Affa Insurgent
Design (9.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: I don't think we've ever seen a repeatable Threaten effect that can trigger more than once a turn. (-0.5 pt.)
Elegance: No issues.
Potential: Timmy likes repeatable, and Spike loves repeatable Threatens at such a low mana cost. Johnny gets a kick out of the old Threaten + sacrifice outlet combo.
Development (7/10 pts.)
Balance: This is where I have huge issues with this card. Rare is definitely right for this sort of effect, but I feel it is undercosted by at least one mana. Zealous Conscripts costs five mana for a similar effect (though it grabs any permanent) but the repeatability makes this seem a bit over the top. (-3 pt)
Viability: Threaten effects are definitely red.
Polish (4.5/5 pts.)
Berserk -> Berserker
Total: 22/25 pts.
Jwar Isle Archmage
Design (5.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: Scalable Disruptive Student. No flavor text. (-3 pt.)
Elegance: No issues.
Potential: The malicious Timmy loves repeatable countermagic, but Spike wishes it had a bigger butt. (-1.5 pt.)
Development (9.5/10 pts.)
Balance: Feels right, though it might be better off as a 0/3. (-0.5 pt.)
Viability: Blue for sure.
Design (6.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: Kinda doesn't make sense in flavor. What's Exalted about this again? (-2 pt.)
Elegance: Nothing.
Potential: Spike loves how efficient this is. Deadly so. (-1.5 pt.)
Development (5.5/10 pts.)
Balance: This is WAY over the curve. I'd play a 3/4 for 3 that drew a card in every format ever. (-3.5 pt.)
Viability: Green and blue do both get aggressice cantrips, I guess. I don't see the Bant flavor on this though. (-1 pt.)
Polish (5/5 pts.)
Total: 17/25 pts.
Doggelganger
Design (9.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: A clone that copies from the hand has never been done before. This is pretty new. (-0.5 pt.)
Elegance: Simple and clear in what it does.
Potential: Timmy and Johnny love copying things, and Spike sees it as a 5cmc creature cheater.
Development (10/10 pts.)
Balance:
Viability: Blue is indeed the color of clones.
Polish (3.5/5 pts.)
Imprint doesn't work that way.. (-1 pt.)
"When" should be "As." (-0.5 pt)
Total: 23/25 pts.
Sow of Temptation
Design (7/10 pts.)
Creativity: This sort of effect has been done in red and green. (-2 pt.)
Elegance: Concise enough to me. However, there's no interaction between phasing and ETB. Penalized in Viability.
Potential: Weird combo potential with this one, for sure. Everyone else yawns. (-1 pt.)
Development (6/10 pts.)
Balance: I feel this is far too good of a control-changing hoser. (-2 pt.)
Viability: The first ability is red or green, not white.(-2 pt.)
Design (6/10 pts.)
Creativity: Power of Fire that turns the creature colorless. (-3 pt.)
Elegance: No problems.
Potential: Seems like a Limited card, though some are piqued by it turning the creature colorless. (-1 pt.)
Development (8/10 pts.)
Balance: Power of Fire says this should be 1R and at common. (-2 pt.)
Viability: Red is the only color that gets this effect anymore.
Polish (5/5 pts.)
Total: 19/25 pts.
Abhorrent Spawning
Design (7/10 pts.)
Creativity: Eating a creature alive, making food for Eldrazi babies. Love the flavor. This is a pretty unique effect.
Elegance: What does the last clause even do? I'm not sure. (-2 pt.)
Potential: It's a big effect, but Spike yawns at seven-mana auras. (-1 pt.)
Development (9.5/10 pts.)
Balance: Seems fine, perhaps even overcosted, at 7 mana. (-0.5 pt.)
Viability: Eldrazi-flavored definitely.
Polish (4/5 pts.)
The clause defining what X is should be closer to where the X is. (-1 pt.)
Total: 20.5/25 pts.
Spark Reflection
Design (10/10 pts.)
Creativity: This is how you do a clone in red. Never been done before!
Elegance: Perfect!
Potential: I think all groups like this one. Well done!
Development (9/10 pts.)
Balance: RRR seems like a fine cost to put this at, given clones are usually 4 cmc.
Viability: Did you forget to given the token haste? Other than that, no problems. (-1 pt.)
Polish (4.75/5 pts.)
Missing a comma after the clause stating it copies a creature.
Total: 23.75/25 pts.
Grand total: 63.75/75 pts. -> Round score: 21.5/25 pts.
Reprints seem great for a defender themed deck, especially Wakestone Gargoyle.
Design (7/10 pts.)
Creativity: Wall of Reverence is the closest thing I've seen to this. This sort of concept needs flying, but it would obviously have to be refluffed. (-1 pt.)
Elegance: No problems.
Potential: Boring but fits the bill for casuals. (-2 pt.)
Development (9/10 pts.)
Balance: I think the maximum toughness you can put this at is 12 or so. It is a four mana defender. (-1 pt.)
Viability: White gets good walls and life gain. Seems fine.
Polish (3/5 pts.)
Missing PT box. (-2 pt.)
Total: 19/25 pts.
--
Defensive Stance
Design (6/10 pts.)
Creativity: Name's been used already. No problems with it otherwise, captures the idea of defense perfectly. (-3 pt.)
Elegance: No problems.
Potential: Spike loves how aggressively is costed, and Johnny loves buying time. (-1 pt.)
Development (4/10 pts.)
Balance: Seems way too good for control decks. Dropping this on turn 3 or 4 is just gg for aggro. Buffs your toughness and nerfs their power. Gravitational Shift says this should probably cost five mana. (-4 pt.)
Viability: Probably should be a rare for Limited. (-2 pt.)
Polish (5/5 pts.)
Total: 15/25 pts.
Coldsteel Monument
Design (7.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: Darksteel Forge variant. Snow mana has never been done in mana cost before though. (-1 pt.)
Elegance: Perfect.
Potential: Timmy likes big artifacts. Everyone else yawns. (-1.5 pt.)
Development (10/10 pts.)
Balance: At six mana and highly restrictive, seems fine to me.
Viability: Mythic is right.
Polish (4.5/5 pts.)
Missing an "all" at the start. (-0.5 pt.)
Total: 22/25 pts.
Grand total: 56/75 pts. -> Round score: 19/25 pts.
Meekstone reprint is pretty cute. Why Wake, if I may ask? I haven't seen too much big mana in this deck yet.
Power Restraint
Design (6.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: Chant of the Skifsang meets Pacifism. No flavor text? (-2 pt.)
Elegance: No issues here.
Potential: Seems like a solid removal spell for control decks in Limited. (-1.5 pt.)
Development (9/10 pt.)
Balance: It's definitely at the right mana cost, but this should probably be common. (-1 pt.)
Viability: Definitely blue/white and common.
Polish (5/5 pt.)
Total: 20.5/25 pts.
--
Kneel
Design (4.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: This sort of thing has been done before in Frost Breath, but never scalable. I don't really get the flavor, though. (-2 pt.)
Elegance: A little wordy. Some of the sentences could probably be combined. (-0.5 pt.)
Potential: Control decks seem to like a two-turn fog, but at that mana cost ans requiring creatures? Dud. (-3 pt.)
Development (8/10 pts.)
Balance: This is really weak. You have to remember cards like Tangle cost 1G and Frost Breath costs 2G. I think this card could cost WU and be fine. (-2 pt.)
Viability: I'm assuming this is white for the creature interaction? Freezing a creature is definitely mono blue.
Polish (4.5/5 pt.)
Owner -> Controller (-0.5 pt.)
Total: 17/25 pt.
--
Kame, the Last Kappa
Design (7.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: An Ertai, Wizard Adept that lets you cast things he counters. I'm assuming that Shell of the Last Kappa is supposed to belong to this guy? Nice throwback. (-1.5 pt.)
Elegance: No issues, given what it does.
Potential: Spike loves repeatable countermagic, and Johnny loves playing with other people's cards. (-1 pt.)
Development (8/10 pts.)
Balance: This would have been perfect if the counterspelling ability also kept him tapped for a turn. As it is, it's far too powerful. (-2 pt.)
Viability: Definitely blue, and dealing with uncounterables is something only done at mythic now.
Polish (5/5 pt.)
Total: 20/25 pts.
Grand total: 58.5/75 pts. -> Round score: 19.5/25 pts.
Reprints are pretty cool actually. You definitely get tilt points for Into the Maw of Hell.
Demonic Reaping
Design (7.5/10 pt.)
Creativity: Curious as to why this isn't a Demon spell itself. Looks like a good Wrecking Ball variant. (-1 pt.)
Elegance: The non-enchantment clause is clunky, but gets the job done. (-0.5 pt.)
Potential: Looks first-pickable in Limited.
Development (10/10 pt.)
Balance: Colors seem right, and cost seems fine, too.
Viability: Bramblecrush says this is at the right rarity.
Polish (4.5/5 pt.)
Creature types are always capitalized. (-0.5 pt.)
Total: 22/25 pts.
--
Disciple of Thragmar
Design (6.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: We've seen these abilities before but never together. This kind of draining is pretty unexplored. (-1 pt.)
Elegance: Maybe you could combine the two sentences in the second ability? (-0.5 pt.)
Potential: Timmy loves his demons. Everyone else yawns because it's too expensive. (-2 pt.)
Development (9/10 pts.)
Balance: I think this could be a 3/3 and wouldn't break anything. 1/1 is a bit small for a demon. (-1 pt.)
Viability: Rare is right, for sure. Repeatable permanent removal must be at rare.
Polish (5/5 pts.)
Total: 21/25 pts.
--
Thragmar's Wrath
Design (6/10 pts.)
Creativity: These effects have never been done together. They come together well. There's plenty of room for flavor text, though. (-2 pt.)
Elegance: No problem here.
Potential: Timmy likes his one sided wraths with upside. Everyone else says too expensive. (-2 pt.)
Development (10/10 pts.)
Balance: A selective wrath that lets you establish a board afterward better cost a lot of mana. You nailed it.
Viability: Black, red, and rare is right. Perfect.
Polish (4.5/5 pt.)
Creature types are always capitalized. (-0.5 pt.)
Total: 20.5/25 pts.
Grand total: 64.5/75 pts. -> Round score: 21.5/25 pts.

I was so excited to see my score and........ It's not there. At first, I thought you would only add the people you had finished, so I saw my name and was all excited! But then suddenly heartbroken.... Its OK though Raikou Rider, I completely understand your situation, and I don't mind that you haven't scored them all yet. Take your time, I can wait!
EDIT: There was another order of business I wanted to discuss today: Our next thread name.
We are rapidly approaching 1,000 posts in this thread, and if I'm correct, it is tradition to archive every 1,000 posts. So, what should our new thread name be once we make a new one?
Remember, the name should be something witty and funny involving [The Spirit of EDH], such as a joke about it not liking MLD, Stax, etc. Whatever ideas you have post them here and we can decide on the best name amongst the Elder Dragons and other members.
Also going to clean out our members list of "Norin's" that haven't done anything here since joining. I might PM them with a notification, if I get around to it.
Shield Sphere [UN]
Mirari's Wake [R]
Wave of Reckoning [R]
All I have so far.. have some ideas for my three new cards, but having trouble deciding on wording and execution.
Sig by Self
[Inkfox Aesthetics] [The Spirit of EDH] U Sakashima the Impostor R Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker Sigarda, Host of Herons
Card #1 (uncommon)
Card #2 (rare)
Card #3 (definitely toned down to rare, at least in my opinion. [no longer destroys lands])
My reprints remain the same.
Rakdos the Defiler
Diabolic Edict
Into the Maw of Hell
Again, Diabolic Edict gets new art/flavortext package for a demon theme. Something like: "Demon's require sacrifices, voluntary or not."
What do you think of the cards being tweaked now? Better? Worse? Don't be afraid to let me know!
Special thanks to Heroes of the Plane Studios for the avatar and Inkfox Aesthetics for the sig.
Vaevictus Asmadi, Creator of [The Spirit of EDH]

other than that being a hella strong wincon on that last one it seems good.

Good point. Fixed.

It's a pretty cool general for sure. Nice flavor and utility, and gives Orzhov something other than sacrificing things and tokens.

Depends on your point of view. I was hoping for new stuff for old decks. All I got was new stuff for new decks. Sigarda is disappointed, but I see things for a future Black/Green deck and Black/Blue deck.

Berserk -> Berserker
Total: 22/25 pts.
Jwar Isle Archmage
Design (5.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: Scalable Disruptive Student. No flavor text. (-3 pt.)
Elegance: No issues.
Potential: The malicious Timmy loves repeatable countermagic, but Spike wishes it had a bigger butt. (-1.5 pt.)
Development (9.5/10 pts.)
Balance: Feels right, though it might be better off as a 0/3. (-0.5 pt.)
Viability: Blue for sure.
Polish (5/5 pts.)
Total: 21/25 pts.
Grand total: 65/75 pts -> Round score: 22/25 pts.
http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=10691871&postcount=871
Reprints seem fine.
Arcane Labrador
Design (6.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: Kinda doesn't make sense in flavor. What's Exalted about this again? (-2 pt.)
Elegance: Nothing.
Potential: Spike loves how efficient this is. Deadly so. (-1.5 pt.)
Development (5.5/10 pts.)
Balance: This is WAY over the curve. I'd play a 3/4 for 3 that drew a card in every format ever. (-3.5 pt.)
Viability: Green and blue do both get aggressice cantrips, I guess. I don't see the Bant flavor on this though. (-1 pt.)
Polish (5/5 pts.)
Total: 17/25 pts.
Doggelganger
Design (9.5/10 pts.)
Creativity: A clone that copies from the hand has never been done before. This is pretty new. (-0.5 pt.)
Elegance: Simple and clear in what it does.
Potential: Timmy and Johnny love copying things, and Spike sees it as a 5cmc creature cheater.
Development (10/10 pts.)
Balance:
Viability: Blue is indeed the color of clones.
Polish (3.5/5 pts.)
Imprint doesn't work that way.. (-1 pt.)
"When" should be "As." (-0.5 pt)
Total: 23/25 pts.
Sow of Temptation
Design (7/10 pts.)
Creativity: This sort of effect has been done in red and green. (-2 pt.)
Elegance: Concise enough to me. However, there's no interaction between phasing and ETB. Penalized in Viability.
Potential: Weird combo potential with this one, for sure. Everyone else yawns. (-1 pt.)
Development (6/10 pts.)
Balance: I feel this is far too good of a control-changing hoser. (-2 pt.)
Viability: The first ability is red or green, not white.(-2 pt.)
Polish (5/5 pts.)
Total: 18/25 pts.
Grand total: 58/75 pts. -> Round score: 19.5 pts.

Ghostfire Brand

Owner -> Controller (-0.5 pt.)
