So, basic rundown of my day. This is a 100% TRUE account of what happened.

Selling a guy some cards, go to meet him outside a pizza place.
Someone else shows up, is going to mug me if I don't give him my phone
I attempt to reason with him
He's having a bad day, I empathise
Find out he's been in jail 5 years and this is his first time out of his tiny rural hometown.
Got dumped by his girlfriend, lost custody of his daughter
He apologizes repeatedly for trying to mug me, we have a long-ass conversation. He apologizes again and leaves to go mug someone else. BUT WAIT, THAT'S NOT ALL.

See him a few hours later in town, have a sesh with the guy that tried to mug me earlier that day.

It's just lucky my proverbial "pen" was mightier than the sword, and I ended up psyching him out of doing it. People are far, far less likely to commit a crime against someone once they have been shown to be "3-Dimensional," so I just subtly dropped in information about myself and got him talking. Then I went for a sesh with him because showing a criminal kindness creates the mental association that "not mugging this kid and taking his **** resulted in a positive experience."

Hopefully that means nobody gets robbed by him for a little while, at least

My most successful pile is some brew that makes Empyrial Plate stick to a flier with lifelink (Yeah that narrows it down doesn't it). Assisted by Dimir Infiltrator to make that happen every game.

Mixed feelings today, went to my second concert this week, and it was fun as hell. Found out a co-worker hung herself this morning though :/

My town is infamous for teen suicide, it's really tragic

I'm not a fan of the stereo-typical mad rush that really does happen in a lot of stores where I live.

If it's not too crowded I don't mind saving a little bit of money on things I guess, but usually it is too crowded.

They are my favourite band of all time ever I got my shirt signed by Tommy and Blake, and got Paul's pick. Got a photo with Tommy too, waiting to get it off a mate's phone!
