Recent events have left me not having a place to call home here. Sadly I'll have to step down and leave the clan I've been with my entire time on MTGS and slowly crawled up the ranks to a leader.
You are all great people and I hope the future of the clan is healthy but the recent downfall in posting here might be a sign to end [Soundtrack].
I think its time to discuss what you all want to do, I'll stay around until you have all decided a new leader or whatever else.
I was in a clan, took a break from mtgs (and magic in general) and have been looking for a clan to possibly join since the one I was in is gone.
I was checking out possible clans to join, but it looks like this clan might be ending? It would be a shame, because I think I would be a perfect fit for this clan... I went to 4 music festivals this summer.
I'd probably post in here a lot more if other people were posting in here. I'm up for trying to keep the clan alive, provided we have someone who wants to take it over.

I'm joining in hopes that someone will step up and be leader
Name: Dan Nickname: Ferro Favorite Musical Genre(s): synthpop, synthrock, industrial, prog Favorite Band(s): Chumbawamba, Andrew WK, Dan Deacon, 30 Seconds to Mars, Battles, Coheed & Cambria, Lightning Bolt, Squarepusher, :Wumpscut: Requested Position/Title: Member! Random Fact (musical or not): I usually go to 3 or 4 music festivals a year
I'm sad to see this clan go. I'm always wondering where the mod vultures are at to swoop in and give us our X weeks' notice.
I would step in as "clan rep"; but, I've never been the conversationalist and my activity in this clan has never warranted the position. Also, I don't see how activity could ever turn around, anyways. Hahahaha...
I guess this is goodbye? With the impending site transition, I'm expecting a lot of changes so who even know if anybody will still be around in a year?

unless things have changed, the mods will just come in 1 month after the last post in the thread and lock it up (my previous clan didn't get any sort of X weeks' notice)
They used to give 2 weeks notice; but, I haven't been in clans in a while and I actually don't read any clan threads other than this one, which hasn't been put on notice since that one.
I can't believe I've been in Soundtrack for 3 years already. Time flies.
EDIT: Now they give 1 weeks notice and PM the clan leader after reviewing the rules.
Power, I honestly think you are the man for the job. Its not that hard you just have to check the clan council thread occasionally and post here what's going on. You guys can split leader and clan rep into two different people if you think it will help you out better!
I'm going to re-re-submit I Left My [Soundtrack] in El Segundo.
I wasn't sure if trying to keep the clan going was the best idea, given the lack of activity in the past month or so, but if we've got some old faces coming back out from the woodwork I'm in.
So I went to Counterpoint Music Festival this past weekend in Atlanta. Beautiful area, with lush forests, massive houses, rolling fields and the Chattahoochee river in the background. Unfortunately, they did more than a few things incorrectly (one water station in the entire place, nothing done to counteract mud after gale force winds+rain on Friday, not enough portapotties in camping areas, overly lax/incompetent security), which you might be willing to let slide for their first festival, except it had a lot of the same people that were involved with Lollapalooza.
Still, some awesome sets were had, and the light+sound systems were excellent. Favorite sets of the weekend were probably Porter Robinson, Alvin Risk, Big Gigantic, Steve Angello & Alesso.
My dad was just asking me what this Gangnam thing is all about yesterday. Even more than the hundreds of millions of views, that tells me it's hit mainstream pop culture pretty hard. Still a great song.

it just hit #1 on the UK singles chart
it's everywhere
#2 in the states, and heard it on the radio (I don't listen to a whole lot of it) for the first time last night out bowling. Blows my mind, but addicting.

Today, I watched an amusing video of a protest going on in front of an Apple store.

Old news, I know, but amusing nonetheless.
