MTG Salvation

We, are [THE GANG]. A group of semi-like minded sub forum enthusiasts who kick rocks in the same quarry. This clan is about people and their everyday lives. This clan is not dedicatedly about any activity in particular, be it a city, a color related to a cardboard card game, homosexuality, cooking, birds, etc. Instead it is for having people talk about their lives, their aspirations, and small or big things that make or ruin their days.

We are very easy going, so everyone is welcomed to join the discussions and interact with us. Make yourself at home as we are not some exclusive group of people. Just don't monopolize discussions. We don't follow a strict code of conduct, so a friend list will not be maintained. If you want to join us, don't try to join us. Just hang out and kick it for a while and eventually people will notice you might be trying to become part of [THE GANG]. Remember everyone is welcome to join us in our discussions. Above all, don't be a dingus.

Speaking of hat hanging, we are required to make someone the clan rep within like the week. So we should do that. I've done this before but if elected I'll just unilaterally make decisions based on what I think everyone wants without asking them. If that's not what you want pick something else.

Oh man, I'll edit him in.

So, what's up in the world? In my world, African politics. What a crazy place that is. Interesting stuff going on over there. Specifically in Mali, which may wind up splitting into two countries ala Sudan pretty soon. Also it's starting to look like Libya may possibly divide, which would be interesting as all the oil is in the East (I believe).

Pretty soon I'll write a paper which I'm sure my Ph.D and grad student clan mates can give me some feedback on :cool2:. It's an open topic for as long as it's related to African Politics, so I'm taking suggestions.

In my world I'm feeling a bit sick I guess from the heat but i have a gan and the ac on. Been playing Neverwinter Nights off and on. chapter 3 in like 2 or 3 months :B but been busy with other issues.

The one idea I had now was the effect of the fall of Muammar Gaddafi and his regime on the future stability of Niger. A lot of weapons are finding their way into Niger now, and supposedly the Taliban have set up shot there as well. Recently it was reported a large convoy of trucks carried a deconstructed helicopter over there to be sold to a private buyer, a.k.a rebels.

3rd edition D&D computer rpg. its ok but obviously their are better D&D games out there.

In my world I'm going to visit Texas soon since I haven't been there in 5 months. Being away from friends is craptacular and making friends in Oklahoma has been....difficult to say the least. I lcol'd at "Magical Black Lesbian" but got very bored, very quickly trying to read the rest. Your writing is extremely wall-of-texty and that's a huge turnoff for most readers. You should consider writing more concisely if you want to build a reader base.

ohhhhhh don't get me wrong this isn't the actual story this is the synopsis of everything that's going to happen in the first series/comic etc. When I write the story it will (hopefully!) have a different feel and expound on the ideas I've outlined in that link. i agree it's very dense right now. I kinda started writing it between midnight and a billion a.m. last night.

Speaking of MTGO, I have to write an article. Not exactly sure what to write about. Magic is pretty much all Delvers these days. I sort of want to write an article about how bad most people are at playing/building RUG Delver but I'd rather just keep winning the mirror.
