Hey all, Happy Belated Christmas. I'm glad everyone's Christmas is working out relatively well.
Mine is mostly chilling with the family. We haven't hanged out as much as I would like, but the holidays are still young. My brother Johnny just has to work cause as a chef its his busy season and Lisa is off in the Netherlands somewhere.
Presents are tradition for most anyone I suppose and my family is no different. I got Johnny a book on home brewing beer, Travis a compass, my mom some gloves, and my dad a book on Nevada Hot springs. Didn't get my sister anything cause she's off in Holland.
I got great presents this year. A pair of Wool Socks which I can never get too many of, some much needed new soles for my boots...I can't believe I've been going two years on factory soles, and a book on BBQ Beer can chicken...(I'll be able to use Johnny's home brew for that).
So that's that. Got some time now so I'll probably look to go camping with my brother. Travis always wants to go somewhere, but he's too inexperienced and a bit too scared to go anywhere by himself. Probably for the best as I've gotten myself in some hairy situations by my self anyhow.

And I guess that I'm a lucky one for the truth of what I know. For my heart had not denied me and I have somewhere to go. I shall never be a prisoner of steel and glass and stone. If I leave, I will return again to my Rocky Mountain home.
Happy Holibags, gang. Mr. O is crazy for his t-ball set, already hitting like a champ like he's mad for it. Really did the trick Christmas day, he was a bit spun up & needed to go outside & berserk all the excitement out! I feel kind of bad, introducing him to baseball, but cricket is for dorks
Gonna do the 'watch fireworks from the beach then go get drunk & play boardgames' NYE plan again, works pretty well. Get off work at 5, jump in the ocean, watch the sky explode, go home to battle tentacle monsters with double-vision
Wow Rian...that's $150 worth of two cards there! Nice haul! I keep forgetting that it's Summer down under right now.
