I saw that. Welcome to the clan new homelander! That's so much easier than the english-british confusion that always makes TB mad.
Hehe, homelander...
Anyway, soccer isn't very interesting, but sports sure as hell are! Each sport, excluding soccer of course, is as captivating and enthralling as any great mafia game. I would even go so far as to say that each sport is close to the intelligence level of mafia. I already know I'm gonna catch some flak for that one, but sports are way more in-depth than people give them credit for.
Football rocks. KU is the best in the world (suck it Texas! WOO!). And I want to be an anchor for SportsCenter. It's my dream job.
Also, the pubs in London were pretty kick-ass, but I'll still take my homey Kansas bars anyday, even with the crap beer we have.
Don't knock American beer until you try Boulevard Wheat Beer, brewed in KC, MO. THe best beer around!

College football and ESPN fan? Ewwww.

I've been all over, and American beer sucks. Even microbrews get thrown out by the sheer fact that Monasteries are basically microbreweries themselves - and do it better.

Yeah, there we go. I'll use that from now on.
But, TACKY, I'm not the only girl anymore!

Baseball, soccer, tennis, and basketball suck.
Hockey is the best sport.
I will also watch football and golf. Yeah, golf. And?

You should talk to Alpha sometime. He just graduated for that and is interning for Fox Sports (I believe) now.

Beer sucks. Of course, according to someone here *leers at E_P :D* I have stereotypical tastes in alcohol.
Eh, in his defense, I love Midori Sours and Smirnoff Ice. What can I say? I can't stand liquor, and I can't hold it anyway.
As far as the alcohol goes, I feel like too many people try and identify themselves by what they drink, and I feel like that's a silly thing to do. Drink to drink. Beer wasn't meant to be a pretentious status symbol, it's meant to get you sloshed. And sometimes taste good. But mostly, sloshed.
Anyway, aside from beer, a handle of Jim Beam will do me well. Also, I am a sucker for good Amaretto (SP?) and Grey Goose vodka. Oh the Goose straight is what I crave.
Congrats Manders for being a girl. Rather, being 1 of 2 girls.
I play golf. What what!? Yeah...I'm damn good too.
@Alpha: You work for FOX Sports?! Badass! How'd that happen!?

I watch for the comedy. SC is classicly funny, while delivering the basic I want from them: stats, scores etc. If you want information, I say SI.com is your best bet, but for entertainment purposes, there's nothing better than ESPN.
To each his own though...

Sure, I am in for Clan Mafia. It'll be rather interesting playing a mafia game with the backup of an entire clan. I'm sure we'll be awesome enough to draw in a Doc Protect on Night 1.
The only thing I need to decide right now is whether to host my upcoming Basic at the same time or to just postpone it. -_-
Lore-wise, I have read the first novel? of Cthulhu and summoned the great Cthulhu himself in Scribblenauts. Other than that, not much.
On another note, the first and only time I ever replaced out of a game was in Inheritance. A game of that magnitude does not mesh well with a busy schedule then. I remembered being absolutely floored though that I had to ask to be replaced out, but sometimes a decision just had to be made to keep oneself sane.
Dagger, if you want, I can help mod your game for ya if you wanna devote some extra time into Clan Mafia. I've been thinkin about tryin to dip my hand into making a game in the near future and some experience beforehand would be awesome.
And holy crap Eco. Are you tall enough? I'm generally the tallest person in my social groups at 6'3.
Oh, and the Spain/Swiss game this evening was terribly boring for the first 30 minutes that I saw while I was at lunch. Only 2 shots and I think Spain broke a record for most passes in 30 minutes or something.
W may only be paid with white mana. U may only be paid with blue mana. B may only be paid with black mana. R may only be paid with red mana. G may only be paid with green mana. C may only be paid with colorless mana. 1 may be paid with white, blue, black, red, green, or clolorless mana.

Thanks for the offer, but I signed up to host the game, and it wouldn't feel right to hoist onto someone else the burden when it's my responsibility.
Besides, when modding a game, creating the game thread and making the votecounts are the easy part. The majority of the work is the real-time administration stuff done behind the screen handling the players' inquiries, prods, replacements, unexpected game issues, and unforeseen setup problems. I doubt I can just push them off to someone else just like that. Wouldn't be fair for everyone.
That said, you definitely should try hosting a game. It's an interesting experience and gives you a new appreciation for the game mods as well as an inside view of how roles are designed and distributed.

A game that by all indication, should have been won by Spain, considering everything that was stacked against Swiss coupled with Spain's efforts. Not that I'm an expert at such things, of course.

Well, I wasnt plannin on taking it over from ya. More helpin out with the prodding and vote counts, and such.
Oh?
Nah, it's not really necessary for those. As I said, those are the easy parts. You can get right into things like those without needing experience beforehand.
LMAO. I somehow interposed Goo with my upcoming Basic.
Bleh.
And someone go and make a Quicktopic for the discussion. I'm assuming here that those who signed up independently for the game won't be participating in that.

Jesus, why were you playing prop? You'd make a much better lock at that height...
Tall props tend to make the front line a little... slanted
I have pity on your head if you're that tall. Doorways hurt enough for me at 2 inches shorter.
I was the tallest on the team, and we had two locks that were almost as tall as me that had identical builds. They used me to gain ground in the scrum. Also, I was only 6'0 playing before since I was 12. I still had times when doorways in Europe became a pain - now I have trouble fitting into a lot of roller coasters because of my height.
I lived in England for about two years when my dad got transferred. It was during most of 5th, 6th, and most of 7th grade by American standards - so add a year and you have the English equivalent. I went to Solihull School, and our team was pretty good at the time. It helped that we also had another American that ran a 4.8 40 in middle school as our winger.
I also played on the house cricket team solely because of my batting skills. I couldn't bowl for ☺☺☺☺.

We live in the country a bit north of London, lrd lives much further in.
Where in relation to Stonehenge? And, have you ever been there? And, is it true that they do not allow visitors there anymore?
If you want the best pubs and beer in the world, go to Yorkshire. It's the real heart of England. Finest ales in the lan, best roast beef you'll ever taste inside giant yorkshire puddings, rolling moors and casual rascism...
Ah...

6'0 at 12?!? Jesus! You are a giant.
Although, I know someone IRL who's 6'7. Damn, I never in a million years imagined you as being a giant.

I think you've said so before, but were you a military brat?
Somewhere even you yanks will have heard of.....;)
Hey, I'm not a yank! I'm from the South.
But, I've heard of more than just London. Like, Ced lives in Oxford, there's Cambridge, my maternal grandfather lives on the Isle of Man, Liverpool, um...there's more. I just can't think of them now.
aha
TB is just standard English-if you ever come here, you will find that the Welsh are the butt of EVERY joke (but we like their sheepyness really)
Didn't Princess Diana come from Wales? She was a good person.
I gotta say I enjoyed hanging out in Ireland more, but Yorkshire does have the better beer. My dad loves it there. Also the roast beef is bland and greasy typically, and the Yorkshire puddings are usually equally as poor. Other places do it better these days.

Meh, if I didn't break my foot as a senior in high school I probably could have gotten a football scholarship. As it was I could have gone D2 if I had tried.
I think you've said so before, but were you a military brat?
Nope. My dad was drafted back in the day, but he went became an officer and did interrogations stateside. He's just a international level business type. He usually spends every other week out of the country now.

I lived outside of Birmingham, in Sutton Coldfield. I only really know the West Midlands well, but I am aware of the larger places myself.
Also, I got called a yank or a cowboy the entire time I lived there. Got into a few fights over it, too.
Hehe, homelander...

ESPN is equivalent to cable news networks in terms of accuracy, watering down of stories, soft interviews, gossiping, etc.
