One of the things I would gotten around to posting, Mikey, was, "Now who's going to drool over extremeicon with me? :crying:"
I vaguely remember this coming up a few years ago ... chris.. whose salvation login I can't remember..(founder of PM/ maybe possibly founder of the site.. or something.... loved NiN) was drooling over extremeicon... I think.. maybe I have been smoking peyote for four days.
Figured it was about time the staff got played on Fools Day.
Though it did lead to .... interesting ... comments from select members of the community.
I thought you were actually leaving and just used it as a "Hey this is a perfect segue into an April Fool's topic." So you're staying? DAMMIT.

Level 3 Magic Judge
Do you know any judges who always impress you with their work ethic, knowledge, or attitude? Nominate them to be the next Judge of the Week!
That's funny; I always contributed my poor navigational skills to me being a red-head, since all my other red-headed friends seem to lack internal compasses as well.
Or maybe there's something they aren't telling me.
Really? I never heard of that.
Incidentally, I'm not good at navigating, either.

Wow. I really don't understand why people are getting grants to do crap like this...
Hah. Because people need to know this stuff.

I'm waiting for the throngs of activists to cry homophobia and sexism.
Psh. People aren't sexist or homophobic anymore. And I don't think research has ever been used to enforce sexist or homophobic ideas.
But in seriousness, evidence collected at different times by different parties does suggest that something about the male brain enables navigating paths, whereas landmarking is a stronger female feature. Sexist and homophobic interpretations of such evidence isn't an uncommon occurrence, though.

FYI, Mikey's resignation turned out to be an April Fool's joke he played on the staff, which we all fell for. So Mikey is not leaving.
Wow. His explanation sounded very fitting to his general situation, and one would almost have expected him to make such a move. Hmm.
Good job, Mikey.

I've got some drool to spare.
Though to be honest, I had a hard time making out his photo.
(I almost slipped a "with" near the end of that sentence.)

I'd put extremeicon at 7.5 on the drool scale. Just one point below Hydro. Have you seen that guy? Hot stuff.
Yes. Hydrokinesis is extremely huggable looking.
You only put him at an 8.5?

BTW, Hannes is surprisingly adorable.
Yes, he is. Although I guess with all his sweet avatars, maybe it's not that much of a surprise.

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.

Hah. Funky irony albeit depressing.
Sort of endearing, had it worked out that way.

I'm on track for May 9th (I chose that day two years ago and have stuck with it faithfully since then).
And Jesse (welcome back, by the way), I plan to move to Coquitlam, but circumstances could find me moving to Port Coquitlam or Burnaby as well. That general area, though, just east of Van City.
I was born in Maple Ridge, have lived in Coquitlam, currently live outside Greater Vancouver(Kamloops), and plan on moving back to Coquitlam/Burnaby within 6 months :). I have a few friends in the Metrotown (burnaby) area who may be looking for a roomate if that is a circumstance that would interest you

Ideally, I'd be doing it alone. I'm actually going to ask a friend of mine tonight if he'd be up for the move. I found out through a mutual friend that he'd love to move out there but fears he couldn't afford it (people on the East Coast sometimes have inflated perceptions of the cost of living elsewhere), so I'm going to offer him to come with me. Even still, I've run some numbers and I can get by alone, so if my friend doesn't come with, I'll be flying solo. Thanks though.
I was actually looking at listing tonight. My budget is $1000 a month for housing and I found several spots in that range. A huge swell more for a lot less if I'm open to just renting a room in a house, but that idea doesn't appeal to me. Studio is my target, one bedroom failing that. But Coquitlam is a big enough place that I should find a suitable place to live with little difficulty.

$1000 a month is no problem. you can find entire 3 bedroom houses for $1500(what my friends have) There are some really nice studios in the towers by the mall for about $950. and that right on the skytrain line(nice if you don't drive)
Best of luck on the move. You may want to call around and see if you can secure things in advance, the housing market in BC is a little tight, lots of people wanting in and not to many options.

That would make you pretty close to me, as I'm Victoria.
Help has come in the form of a bit of basic algebra. I feel that it'll shed some light on your problem here.
Basically:
S + T = W
...S in this case stands for 'spam' and the T stands for 'light trolling'. And the W? That stands for 'Warning'. I love math. -- {mikeyG}

Oh yes indeed. Quite possibly the yummiest guy on the forums (much as I'd like to claim the title for myself [/narcissism] )

Wait, did we really just have another discussion of who the hot mods are??
Maybe we should have a Salvation's Next Top Model.
