He's not bad, but I'd take a Colin Ferrell any day. *drools*
I think I'm over Colin Ferrell. There was a year when I was really into him and saw all the movies he starred in that year (Phone Booth, SWAT, The Recruit...) but that was like 5 years ago. Maybe it's the scruffy-gruffy that I'm just not into anymore. Clean cut (the FACE, you pervs!) and "boy next door" types all the way.

See, I like a scruffy looking guy...the knit cap would be burnt in a heartbeat, but otherwise...heeheehee...
Hey there! I'm just popping in. I don't have any classes now, so I don't have as much internet access (for those who don't know, I don't have home internet, so I use my school's wireless almost exclusively). But today I'm handing in a paper, so here I am.
I've got another 10 page paper to write for tomorrow, so I'll likely be working late...not fun.
Anyway, welcome to any new people who I haven't already said hi to. I'm Dorian. I'm the resident theatre geek (every group of queer folk needs one).
SPEAKING OF THEATRE: Rumour has it that Patti LuPone may be reprising her Gypsy role in the West End in 2009. Combined with the rumours of Christine Ebersole reprising Grey Gardens there at the same time, it will officially be the Year of the Diva. Two incredible performers in two incredible roles (the only reason Grey Gardens' Little Edie and Ebersole aren't legends is because they're too recent) means sparks will fly.
I'm married with a kid, that doesn't mean I'm not occassionally attracted to men. I guess this would be a good time to ask to join the gamers. Back on topic. I know a few people who I would say are 100% straight. I say this because A: they are not bothered by gay people. Whenever being around gay people makes someone uncomfortable, something's up. And B: they've been around gay people enough that they would had to fess up sooner or later if there was an attraction. Mostpeople who say they are straight aren't, or at least not completely.
Edt: I think I was responding to something on around page 8 of this thread. Sorry if that's confusing.
Contrary to highlandrian legend, there can be more than one.
Dorian's just the most vocal about it.
Current favorite ice cream: Chocolate Mojito.....second favorite After Dinner Mint.
I don't know why I decided it was time for an ice cream update O_o
Always good to know. I'm a French vanilla guy myself (however, I prefer my cards/men to have a little more flavour). Toblerone is great too. In Melbourne we have Lygon Street, which is kinda like the Italian section of the city, and there are heaps of great icecream/gelati shops all along there. Mmm, tasty!

Heavenly Hash is the best. I can't proclaim myself as the resident theatre genius because I don't know most shows/haven't seen most shows/can't afford to see most shows. Just a small-time theatre geek here.

A love for the theatre is all one needs. Being involves somehow helps. I'm not so involved now that I'm out of high school, but I hope to get back into it soon, either at college or on the local level.
For me: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or Cookies 'n' Cream.
I'd probably have to go with Howler's preferences in terms of "ice cream." For gelato, probably peach, if for no other reason than the fact that it's a flavor a lot of tourists avoid because they think it's "fish gelato".
I wonder if there is a passion fruit flavored variety... I love passion fruit.
I also have this one dessert that uses vanilla ice cream. Basically it's pomegranate seeds, mango, papaya, guava, kiwi and various other fruits sautéed in brandy, which is then poured over the ice cream. The sauce that's created in the process of heating is really a base, so certain flavorings can be added, such as amaretto or perhaps another liqueur depending on what you want. Actually, vanilla ice cream can be quite useful...
Two things I can't stand in my dessert: Fruits and nuts.
I always get comments about my tastes for sweets too. I just feel that nuts in a brownie ruins an otherwise deliciously moist brownie. And fruit on anything makes me gag generally.
But I'm in the minority there lol.
See I like a few different brands of ice cream but they don't have them everywhere. Blue Bell ice cream is in a lot of places but not everywhere. Also Braum's Ice cream which isn't anywhere but 4 states around Oklahoma.
I like Ben and Jerry's sometimes. And there was once this amazing mint ice cream with M&M Minnies and a Fudge Swirl but they stopped carrying it at my grocery store once I ate it all. (Literally they had 20 or 30 pints and after a month or two I'd eaten it all. They never bought it again. I don't get that. I was buying them fairly frequently. The store is backwards. They get rid of EVERYTHING I buy with any kind of frequency :(. I'm glad I don't shop there for underwear!.....but then again so is everyone else.)

I 100% agree with you on that. I can't stand stands nuts. I love peanut butter (especially mixed in vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce... um), but that's about it. And fruit is enjoyable alone, but not so much when mixed in with anything else.
I don't know why I decided it was time for an ice cream update O_o
We're sharing, getting to know each other; it's a form of clan bonding.
"Bonding" in a fraternal sense, not... that other... kind...
Ice cream talk makes me angry. My favorite ice cream is Ben & Jerry's Coconut Almond Fudge. Love. It.
But of course you can't buy it in the grocery store, oh no. You have to go to a Ben & Jerry's retail location. Which I happily did since there was one a mere block from my house. Which they then, of course, closed and replaced with a friggin' popcorn store. So I went without my fix for ages until I happened to be having dinner in the suburbs with some friends and, hey check it out! A B&J next door. Let's go! So we did, and I asked the guy behind the counter if they had the flavor in back (they never put it up front with the other tubs) and he said they did and went back to get it. And what did he come back out with? Nothing. They were out and the flavor was discontinued.

I'm back not that I was missed :P, but thankfully I made it just in time for a rousing discusion about ice cream. You cant go wrong with cold stone creamery.... hehe creamery
Popcorn is one of the most outrageous things they sell in groceries. You can buy no-name popcorn kernels for a tiny fraction of the price of "microwaveable" popcorn and name-brands and such, then make popcorn with it that tastes better and is much healthier. All you need is a stove or a microwave.

Oh. Ouch. I'm sorry man. I hate when my favorite ice creams go out of commission. But honestly if they discontinued it it was because of poor sales and it caused cancer I'm sure.
Chris you're never missed. Don't you know by now that we're all stalking you? Even if you're not here we're with you....nice
And yeah...what the gay is a popcorn store? And how could people prefer the hole that is a popcorn store to Ice cream!?!?!?! One that can be abbreviated to BJ's no less! I'm just saying BJ better than corn hole any day.
Hey, Dowkin. No attention ****ing allowed, just regular ****ing. And of course we missed you; you're really, really cute. Plus you have an absolutely adorable daughter we can't help but fuss about.

There's a popcorn "booth" in the food court at the mall I go to called Kernels, but I never buy anything from there. I just try all the new flavours and then move on. I guess they get a lot of business cuz they've been there at least 10 years. Or maybe the rent is just really cheap.

Not sure I prefer BJs to Cornholes. I'd need a side by side comparison to be sure. Perhaps trying both at the same time would give me some better insight, but I can't condone the closing of anything that provides the public with Ben & Jerry's half-baked. not to mention Ben & Jerry are pretty much to only reliable men in my life.
EVEN STEVEN? er... I mean Shia LeBoeuf? Yah he's alright... my current fave guy is James Franco of Spiderman fame.
Is it wrong that I tend to like men androgynous with younger-looking faces? Does that make me a pedophile?
Edit: Kraj? could you take me off the friends list and put me back on the members list becuase I'm trying to be active again? pretty please with sugar on top??!

It's like the popcorn stand at a movie theater, except you can get packaged popcorn too and flavored popcorn like cheese or caramel or whatnot.
