Once upon a time a wise man said, "That guy is hot." The statement spawned an idea so great that our brightest scholars documented instances of said "hotness" for posterity. In the following links you can observe this greatness.
This entry into the Gaymer hall of fame is long overdue. He has been inducing drools for many a year, and his appearance now is simply testament to his staying power. I give you...
David Boreanaz
David has been prompting tents to be pitched nation-wide since his debut on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997, playing the mysterious vampire with a soul, Angel. The picture above shows him sporting his trademark jacket and brooding expression.
Since then he's proven he's more than a pretty face by leading the hit series Bones, which not only is a pretty watchable show (the couple times I've watched it I liked it) but makes for a funny joke all on its own. David has also tantalized us over the years by doing photoshoots that show us his softer side (no, not his ass).
Not content to just get his feet wet, he apparently likes to work with photographers who have full-blown water fetishes.
No complaints here, Dave. Also, he's good with kids.
Some fun facts you might not know about David:
- He voiced the Kingdom Hearts character Leon (Squall).
- He starred in an awful "horney teenager mad slasher" film in 2001 called Valentine, that continued the proud tradition of using holidays as a gimmick for horror.
He did it.
- Boreanaz has been married twice, to Ingrid Quinn and Jaime Bergman. Combine them and he maried Ingrid Bergman. Coincidence? I think not.
That's it! I hope you had fun. I know I did. [/suggestive voice]
I do peek at people's decks. Mainly because people are always leaving them lying around. Some people act like I'm doing industrial spying when I look at their deck. I'm a noob. I spend more time ohhing and ahhing at foil lands than copying people's trade secrets.
I haven't done much gaying lately. The gayest thing I've done this week is chat with Sakura.
Typical conversation between Sakura and I:
Me: So how the gay are you?
Sakura: Gay. How about you?
Me: Also gay. I did get an Oona's Blackguard in the draft. I think its creature type should be changed to Faerie Rogue Gay.
Sakura: That would be so freaking gay!
I'm actually kind of surprised David hadn't shown up yet, but good choice for the inaugural HG of the thread!
And, um, what other effusive compliments can I pay?
Good title!
Yay. I'm glad you like it
I struggled over who would be a worthy HGotW after such a long pause (typical now, without mikey's enthusiasm for keeping it regularly updated ). The thread name, however, simply came to me. I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing out loud at work.

Nice to see you, spiderboy! Don't be such a stranger.
Yeah, the old thread was sort of overwhelming. It's probably for the best that we've got a PineSol-fresh (tm) new one to lure and entrap encourage new posters.

Don't mistake my sabbatical as a lack of enthusiasm. I'd simply grown concerned that everyone was losing interest and that HGOtW was becoming too much of a good thing.
I'm still very much enthusiastic about hot guys. Currently I'm fawning over Hot!Rob from Cloverfield. And the boys from Friday Night Lights. And Chace Crawford. And for one GQ photoshoot where he looks less ambiguous and more definitively male (maybe it's the lack of caked-on foundation), Zac Efron. Oh, and my mainstays Josh Holloway, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki who are all so very, very pretty. And the random, nameless hotties on mostbeautifulman.com.

OMG I'm addicted to that site. I even have the Cutest Boy on YouTube 2008 bookmarked (it's a great pick-me-up).
I really want to find Zac Efon attractive, because you can hardly turn your head without seeing his face, but he's just so damn girly. He looks perpetually like he's been given a makeover by teenage girls at a slumber party.

not much of interest in this corner of the world. My friend lucas is part of Rainbow Alliance, and apparently there's all sorts of drama going on in their meetings.
Their "tactic" for this semester is to put up giant posters of couples kissing--same sex and opposite sex couples. They tend to be torn down relatively quickly...and then RA pays MORE money to put new ones up...to have them torn down...
I dunno, I guess it's a huge debate over if the "plan" is a waste of money or not. I, personally, think they're doing more harm than good--they're pretty much throwing away this semester's budget by replacing these things every few days. I believe there's a better way to raise awareness than to put up giant posters and 'shock' people.
But I'm not part of the organization (simply because I can never make a meeting due to the newspaper), so I don't think I should get in the middle of it.

Speaking of drag, can you believe how much of a drag college planning is? I already have a hojillian letters in the mail from colleges that appreciate my attributes, including one which wants to snatch me away before I graduate high school. There was a fairly widespread rumor going around here that military policy was changing in February to start allowing the recruitment of homosexuals. I haven't found anything to support it, though. Some entertaining variety of reactions, though. A lot of people were calling February 1st "Fabulous Friday". A few people were outraged at the idea. I'm pretty sure that if you spend an entire day ranting to everyone without ever shutting up about how much you hate teh g@ys, you're compensating for something. Just saying.
So, I'm pretty sure I've complained in here about how my dad wants us all to move to Montréal and I really want to finish my undergrad here, due to having a social network and suchlike and being involved with commuity stuff and so on and so on and so on. Ad infinitum.
Well, if I haven't, that's the case.
Anyway, it's looking like my friend Amanda is planning to move out by September or so if she can find a roommate. So we've been discussing things.
