James Mcavoy... Again! He wins this week by 1 point! And because I didn't state in the beginning that past winners couldn't win again he is our winner this week! (And also why we now have a rule with past HGOTW not able to win it again. )
I've said it once, and I'll say it again: second hottest man alive.
As far as life goes, I'm meh. There are alot of things I want to change; I need a better job, I want to move out of my parents house, and I want to go off to college. I'm finally working on fixing all those things. I turned in an application for a job at the state yesterday. The hours would SUCK (like, the possiblilty of working 10pm to 6am), but the pay is really good. And I'll probably start applying for college the next week or two, and if I get accepted that will inevitably mean me moving out.
Tywin, you really arn't missing much I dont think.. Well ok maybe more Boyjunkage.. but at least you are out.
I have been out since 18 and really am so glad I decided too. But then again I come to realize that my personality is very umm direct. I hate fake people and tell people the truth about whatever situation reguardless what they want to hear. So I guess I had nothing to worry about, It just feels good to accept who you are and that it's all OK.
And ironicly im turing 26 next May, kinda wierd that everyone is close in the age groupage.
And No giga I dont want Desperate Housewives..

Thanks goes out to DarkNightCavalier and XenoNinja
Carlos is not attractive. The hottest thing on that show that I could see what the lawnmower (was that jesse something? Bradford?) until "Brian Kinney" Gale Howard showed up this season.
I can't take anyone named Orson seriously. Especially not Kyle Machlaughlin, who is becoming more porcine with age, which just reinforces the connection to Garfield and Friends.
I remember watching the premier of Desperate Housewives and thinking the writing was excellent and the story intriguing. And then every little tidbit I've heard about the show since has been outrageous, stupid, and every bit like a daytime soap opera. If it weren't for Shawn Pryfrom's character and the occasional appearance of gorgeous boys like Ryan Carnes (ok, and the fact that Felicity Huffman is fabulous), I would wish the show into oblivion with every fiber of my being.

Sorry if this is a bad place to leave this. Thought there might be some supporters from the US on this particular thread. PM me if you want me to edit this out of here. (and if that's the case, is there a better place to put this? I want to get the word out.)

DAY WITHOUT A GAY
National economic protest (ie boycott) of the recent laws passed in Florida, California, and elsewhere in the US that discriminate against the LGBT community.
Wednesday, December 10th, 2008
Description
We are calling for a nationwide strike and economic boycott by all members of our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered community AND OUR STRAIGHT ALLIES on December 10th, 2008, International Human Rights Day.
WHY SHOULD WE DO IT?
Because LGBT workers, business owners, consumers and taxpayers contribute over $700 billion to the U.S. economy each year and should not be treated as second class citizens.
Because general strikes and economic boycotts are a powerful weapon in the history of non-violent protests. See http://www.pbs.org/now/society/boycott.html. For many of those protesters, their actions came at a cost, but we must be willing to make sacrifices to fight for equal rights, including the right to marry.
Because marriage should be a Right for all Americans, regardless of gender, race OR religion.
Because until ALL are equal, NONE are equal.
WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
Strike: call in gay, shut down your business, take the day off.
Boycott: don't buy anything or spend money.
Participate: visit www.daywithoutagay.org for a list of volunteer and/or protest opportunities.
Communicate: we need everyone's support!

WHY THE NAME "A DAY WITHOUT GAYS"? The name was inspired by the film A DAY WITHOUT A MEXICAN and the nationwide strike in 2006 called A DAY WITHOUT IMMIGRANTS, protesting proposed immigration laws.

Yeah, you keep saying you'll share... but I have yet to see you throw any bear leftovers my way. I can only assume you're secretly hoarding them.
As for the "Day Without a Gay", I'm just not sure about that. I get the whole "show them how much we contribute to society" bit. But I just think I make a better contribution by being a competent, reliable, likable, out employee than I do with shenanigans. I also think I'd be more keen on the idea of it if it were a more focussed thing.
Oh yeah. That and the fact that if I called in "gay" to work, my manager would tell me that if he could drag his own gay ass to work, then I'd better do the same.
