Hello everyone just wanted to stop by and say good morning. Probablly going to go back to sleep here in a bit since i have another long shift today. It bites that my whole weekend is booked with work and more work ah well that's life. Have a good day everyone and I will be back later.
I have no idea what you just said, but I'll agree with it nonetheless. I am something of an international treasure- after all, I didn't spend all that time lying in a Mesopotamian crypt to be known as ANYTHING other than a priceless artifact. It's true, I tell you, I make sure Irinka the upstairs maid gives me a good dusting with Lemon Pledge once a week to keep all my gemstones sparkling and my copper inlays rust free!
And please, refrain from calling me Woodturtle. If you must call me anything but gorgeous, call me Blaine, B-Wood, or just Bladurdle. I have some terrible post-traumatic stress issues that rise up whenever someone calls me by my family name. It stems from that time my freshman gym coach stuffed me in a locker and then welded it shut. He's in prison now, but I visit him often, the dear.

Yes, I'm just getting started, but can I just tell you, I've been Photon Eater FOREVER.
Listen here, you beef sniffing peasant, you haven't had the pleasure of seeing my post, and once my stimulus check comes, NO one will! Or were you talking about my forum activities? I'm sorry, I was vacationing with Sandra Bernhardt in South America, and I made the mistake of drinking some sort of household cleansing product called Maravilhoso and killing the part of my brain that lets me differentiate between earnest comments and sexual harassment. At first it was hard, but I enjoy getting people fired enough that I've learned to live with it.
My dear, I assure you my association with the peasantry ended the day I renounced Catholicism While I do not deny my enjoyment of the aroma of beef, I much prefer the taste. However, you are correct that I was referring to your forum activities. I am very sorry to hear about your vacation tragedy, meaning of course being stuck with Sandra Bernhardt for any length of time.
ep, I absolutely adore Singing in the Rain! One of the best movies of all time, period.

I could never renounce Catholicism. I want to go to Heaven- it's only the most exclusive country club there is! Beautiful landscaping, strict membership policy, and everything is made of gold!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, when it comes to eating meat, I prefer a good ham. I can't get enough of the salty pig, and I've been known to carve it into little figurines and then devour them like I'm from that one movie where that monster attacked New York and nobody knew what was going on... no, not Cloverfield, I'm thinking it was called Breakfast at Tiffany's. Wait no, I'm wrong again... I've seen Audrey up close, and there is no way she'd every eaten ANYTHING, let alone something as fatty as an American.
Yes, Sandy is a real dear and one of my closest friends, but I would be lying if I said I didn't loathe her with all my heart and often found myself wishing she would go swimming in the ocean, get caught by a riptide, and be sucked out into the Atlantic to die. But if you ever tell her this, I'll not only deny it, but I'll insist you were some sort of anti-Semite and create a smear campaign against you on Myspace.com. By the way, have I told you how handsome you look today? Like two 18 year old twins sharing a pair of leather pants!

And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

First of all, it's Bladurdle to YOU, or just Blaine.
Secondly-- look here, Darnell, or whatever it was you said your name was again. Your picture got passed over because you've been dethroned. There's a hot new dame in town, and her name is spelled EM EE, BLAINE.
So get used to being my sidekick from now on, because there is no way you will ever be man enough to be a bigger woman than me! Now pour me a White Russian and call it a latte for the censor's sake!

Yes, I'm just getting started, but can I just tell you, I've been Photon Eater FOREVER.
I was sincerely considering posting a pic of myself up here, hoping for some aid in identifying problem areas and getting honest feedback. I've been feeling more confident about that sort of thing lately so it didn't seem that scary.
Until about two days ago. We have this terrible, twisted convention at work called "Champion of the Week" by which every week someone is supposed to be recognized for doing a good job. A picture of them is hung up on the wall as well as a note describing why they were recognized. Sounds pretty standard, right?
The awful part is when I get recognized. Thankfully, it's only been like 4 times. I have to see a picture of me out in the open for everyone to see for a whole week at least. No thanks, I have enough to contend with.
Anyway, this week someone decided to recognize me. What with the whole confidence thing I mentioned earlier, I was like "Okay!" thinking that it'd be a good picture this time (it actually was good last time). Was I ever wrong.
I fell fast down to the depressed end of the spectrum after seeing that damned polaroid. It's not just a reminder of how far I have yet to go, but also of how far I'll never be able to get.
I've been despondent, messed up, and unapproachable ever since then, going back into that emotional deathtrap I was hoping to finally be past. I could kick myself for even letting him take the stupid picture, but really it's not his fault. I'm sure it would have come back to smack me in face soon enough on its own.
I feel like breaking something. Or maybe I should just go to a shooting range. :\
@Blaine: Yes you can't have me.
By the way, I'm planning on keeping that clavicle for a little while longer. I've still got a hot trail. You don't mind, do you, scrumptious?

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.
Mamelon, I know how you feel, I also don't like having pictures of me taken. However when I do get a picture of me taken, I am told it is usually really good (I never think so). Last Picture I had taken was at least 3 months ago, and I have yet to see how it came out, I am too scared to ask.
Still, I don't think we should let pictures of ourselves frame who we choose to be. If you know what I mean?

I cannot stand having my picture taken. I usually feel like, well, all I can see in the picture is what I dislike about myself. Frankly, it's taken everything in my power to be happy with who I am. I have been through more depressions than I care to count. Every few weeks I have a confidence crash and my doubts start coming out to play.
But anyways, Mamelon, I have been where you are as far as being despondent and unnaproachable, I've been down that road many, many times. We here are your friends, and we like you.

Official Character Sheet Shredder of DAMNIT
DAMNIT: I should never have to shred my own character sheet in frustration.
I don't know what I can tell you folks about myself, other than that I really enjoy both Magic the Gathering and Classic Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition. I am a college student, and have no life aside from College, Magic, and my Religion of Choice. That Religion happens to be Celtic Reconstructionism, which is the modern reconstruction of the Ancient Pre-Christian Celts. However I am a bad Celtic Reconstructionist, as I am still not in the practice of doing my daily devotions among other things.
I would like to join the Coffeehouse as a regular if at all possible.
Welcome to the house. Just stick around for a while, post a lot, try not to spam, and you'll be a regular in no time. (Hint: It's not becoming a regular that's hard. It's staying one. Yet, somehow, I have no problem staying one. Amazing.)
I think Rent lives up to the hype (the show, not the movie (which was awful)).
I'm currently playing Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles on Wii. Anyone played that one yet? I'm enjoying it s far but it's very different from RE4 which I absolutely adore.
I think it lives up to the hype too. I've heard it's amazing from a lot of people. And other than the problem with sound levels they had on a few microphones, I think it lived up.
I feel like breaking something. Or maybe I should just go to a shooting range. :\
@Blaine: Yes you can't have me.

I'm sorry to hear that, Mamelon. I know how much I hate having my picture taken. I just don't think I take good pictures. So, like my dad before me, I'll make every effort to stay -behind- the camera.
I think it lives up to the hype too. I've heard it's amazing from a lot of people. And other than the problem with sound levels they had on a few microphones, I think it lived up.
I agree. The movie, I don't think was /that/ bad, aside from Joanne and Mimi, it had the full original cast. But yes, Rent does live up to the hype. Something else that does? Wicked. Just go listen to Defying Gravity (hint: youtube "defying gravity 2003 tony awards")
Oh, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm a writer and sig pic designer who likes playing obnoxious white decks. I'm a web designer, and going to be getting married in less than two months.
I'm also going to bed now. Hopefully see some of you tomorrow.

I always have found Rent a bit too preachy and stereotypically sappy to live up to its hype. It isn't a bad show by any means, I just don't think it delivers like everyone else thinks it does.
Oh, so here is an update on the sleeping isse I told you all about a month ago. I tried to sleep out last week and had some trouble. I got so anxious when I tried to go to bed I left my friends house at 4:30 in the AM and came home. However, after looking hard at what happened I realized that I should've tried harder to stay and really gave up a bit too eaisly. So last night after about an hour of self coercion I was finally able to fall asleep on my friends couch! I know it took an hour and was probably more from exhaustion than anything else, but to me this is the sort of thing I need to take baby steps with. I'm just so happy I was able to sleep at all with out medication in my system.
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles is a great game. It does exactly what it set out to do, provide you with an arcade-esque shooter that has a Resident Evil feel.
it's for this reason that I really like the game. Not much of a purchase game, to me, but it's a great rental.

I can't wait until I'm 85 and pruned up. Then I can look as fugly as I want and nobody will have a ***** coming. Because they'll be just as pruned up and fugly BTW, we should all plan on having a Coffeehouse reunion at its 60th anniversary so we can all sit around and be old and pruny together for old times sake. We will toast our dearly departed 'housers to the tune of Sayonara de nakanai, and play DDR on our walkers.
