Poop, missed talking to beatrix44 again, poop! Ah well Jun if you read the last few pages of the previous thread you would of saw me give praise to yee :).

Bout to leave for work after waiting here at home to receive a shipment from portugal...cardses
My buddy sends me all kinds of neat things. stamps, labels, cards in Portuguese. I send him Mutavaults. Fair trade, considering that he plays a limited range of decktypes and most of those involve red, white, and black. So I send him goblins and kithkin, and he sends me his crap rares in blue and green. In the past those crap rares have included Jitte, Heartbeat of Spring, and Scrying Sheets. I have not heard a grumble out of him since he only sends me stuff he can't trade...to be fair I've shuttled a lot of good legacy staples to Europe on his behalf.
Thats a shame Cecilia. I pretty much only play Legacy over the internet now, except when there's a side event to be had. I really want to move closer to Legacy again, living in Germany would be amazing. I need to pass my German exam...
It is a shame but it's the truth. Its pretty hard to stay motivated in a format where you can't even play or have access to any events especially since I have been doing that for at least a year and a half(I started playing legacy in 2005). Also at least you have that side event I don't have anything here really. Ah well at least team aYb's lukas preuss who usually top 8s at every big germany tournament there is says my ugw threshold deck seems really strong for legacy. However I just pretty much throw the deck together just like what Brandon and me did with the wug angel stompy deck. Also I already posted my ugw threshold list in the team chimera forums.
Anyway I just wanted to stop by and say hello. I have to get going to work in like an hour another 6 hour shift today still not as nearly as bad as an 8 hour or 10 hour shift. I wish you all an great day and see you all soon.
Wooo I see lurkers below me, come in and sit down, perhaps have a drink or two, doh! I can smell the burnt remnants of my tea in the air.
As for of recentcy, ether I have just got my little grubby hands on Wild ARM's 5, eventually so I think I will play that when I come back from college later, as for you, how is your Baroque gameplay going, I heard it is a very interesting if a tad bit hard game, do you recommend a play?!?
Baroque is a pleasure, as far as rogue-like games go. I'm really amused to see that the majority of people who've reviewed the game (including that simp Adam Cessler at X-Play) didn't get more than fifteen minutes in and expected it to be Devil May Cry with Megaten enemies. I'm on my 12th run-through of the tower and have unlocked a lot of meaty story, but a surprising thing has happened. I don't know what to do next O_o;;
Wild ARMs 5 suffers the same problem that its predecessor did - the battle system sucks any and all difficulty out of it until the later bosses. Regardless I adore the game and highly recommend it to anyone who loves the first and second games. I mean seriously, I love that game so much =)
Interesting note: It's very hard to find actual Japanese-sounding music in Japanese RPG soundtracks.
I finished wild arms 5 that game was pretty fun and i liked the storyline in that game. I thought wild arms alter code f was more difficult though for some reason. Also at least some of the puzzles in wild arms 5 was tough. I wasn't too fond of some of the TF tower system puzzles though.
I also want to get the 4th wild arms game as well. Yulie is cute.
@Arguas: Missed ya dude! What's up? We should post often dude, were goin further down in the firt page's list.:D Im glad Im back to regular too.

EDIT: @Alacar - Wow ur already third? COngratz, well I guess youve beaten up good&evil. I think Belgareth and extremeicon stopped posting frequently am I right? Cuz if I remember 20k+ posts from extremeicon back then, and still its 20k. Maybe if he posted like nuts again its gonna be like 30k+ or something like that.
Haha, I'll be trying, but that's what I always say, isn't it? I have a lot of side projects going on too, and I know that I was inactive for a long time before I ended up on the list of regulars to be missed. Eh, others have certainly noticed, by the looks of it. Anyway, good to see you and your positive attitude here on the coffeehouse again!
I won't be able to make it to the Prereleases, and this makes me sad. If the promo card is really the ***** Monster art on that Demigod of Revenge, if anyone picks up extras, I really really want a few of those ***** Monsters. (I has cashes and some cards!) It would make me a happy happy girl.
? Never even considered the shape of the art there. Isn't it the prerelease card, or am I sorely mistaken?
If it is, I'll likely be willing to trade it away for some other cards that may be useful for me
Woah... it's only the 17th! I can understand you feeling like you're done after AP exams, but, wow, that is really early. Others are noting that as well, I see.
Hey Arguas.. Good to see you despite the awkwardness
As for the blog entry and my boss... Sorry if that seemed like I was overreacting or complaining too much or anything like that.. Really, its just a matter of sitting down with him and talking with him about it, but I just haven't had a chance to, as he's been so busy with other projects.. I just need to find out what it is that he wants from this and future blog entries, really
Hah, I have a feeling you're worrying a little too much. I can still understand, as I always have, the frustration about feeling like your hard work is dismissed. And yes, it is good that you are seeing this positively and are just making an effort to move forward
I'm very glad you've had a chance to reconnect with people, I know how good a feeling that can be, I'm still trying to do that myself, but as I'm not oncampus too often, its a little more difficult than I would like!
Doesn't just need to be on campus. I did so online in some necessary cases as well... which is something that I tremendously appreciate now.
Oh, and of course, your drink!
*hands Arguas a strawberry shake*
Thank you graciously, miss I could really use that today Code reviews among the group, and then likely some preparation for the next iteration of feedback... lots of stuffs happening
Overall, I am quite glad to hear you're doing well, and I would hope you do well at the tournament on Sunday... For those of who don't feel like searching for the "Who's Going to What Prerelease" thread, its linked here!
Very much appreciated, thanks for the plug
Good to see everyone posting here actually! Let me know if I forgot anybody on the regulars/casual list
Zaphod is the first one I can think of off the top of my head.
THANK you to Hippy for the wonderful cake!!!!!! You have no idea how warm and fuzzy that makes me feel! Thank you I read it a little late, but a day-old cake is still very good cake
Hope everybody else's day is going well.. I should get to work
I'll be back on IRC chat soon, it's just been so much a memory trip (I was a rules guru and chanop on several channels on scrollrack's server about a year ago - it's pretty much a YGO version of magic league)
I still need ideas for my FCC card to be sacrificed to Moss_Elemental. Rather, I need a picture...

I'm amazed at how much the value of those things are going. Last I checked even on MTGO, they were going at around $20. I was amused, my first mtgo draft with morningtide ever, I cracked a Mutavault And it's good that you're getting such good stuff from this trade!

It has seemed to me for a while that the legacy or just in general older formats are hard to find unless you are willing to go pretty far out of your way to follow them. Extended and Legacy seem to be particularly guilty of this. Either way, I wish you also a good day at work
I should get back to work myself... a bit long time here not doing so... and I feel behind. I really should be trying to improve functionality and whatnot.
Anyway, good to stop in, might try to get into the irc chat before Anime Club tonight. Either way, I hope to drop in again soon. *takes milkshake and goes*
Kekekeke just opened the box of Portuguese rares he sent, and found a Garruk Falabravo in there, as well as a boatload of old Urza's Saga uncommons in Portuguese...serras embrace, monk idealist, voice of grace, y'know the GOOD STUFF.
Like Xmas but without the snow.
Run to work now, got a lot to get done before the PR.
heh...I'm barely on page 4...I'm even below Hannes, who IIRC posts maybe a few times a year?
enough with post counting.
also in other news, I just got rickroll'd by xkcd. should have seen it coming but sadly didn't...
As far as post counts go. I'm 69th and on page 2. Thats a sign of being around here for way too long.
How could you not avoid the rickroll? Especially since you saw it comming.
@Arguas: Nice to see you. It's been a while since you have poked your head in here if I am not mistaken.
@Ether: Why are you such a frustrated DM today?
My independent study advisor isn't in the building today so I get to sit around a post on Salvation instead of working. I start a week's vacation tomorrow. Very excited.
Well, it's a combination of things. First of all I had a really weird night that left me without sleep, so I'm awake but not in a good mood. The big bad villain for the upcoming story arc is a very specific kind of character and I had to do a lot of page-turning to find everything I needed for him, but thankfully it didn't take half as long as I thought. Lastly, I've had the unusual experience of being unable to put together a cohesive soundtrack, but that was remedied as well. So it's all good now =)
On a related subject, I forgot just how much I love Shadow Hearts music.

That doesn't seem like grounds to be frustrated, just mildly annoyed. It isn't like someone in your play group came in yesterday and started being a complete and total jerk, in and out of game. Making the DM's life hell by running all these unnecessary skill checks and sneaking peaks at what pages you're on in the MM and DMG.
Shadow Hearts does have some pretty good music I must admit.

Hehe, I take it that happened to you then?
I was only mildly frustrated, really. But with the lack of sleep and the new morning routine around here (wake up to sounds of an ugly scenester kid next door having a manhood-measuring contest with his girlfriend's toddler), it all added up.
Hell, I'm one of the "coffeehouse three" whatever that means, and I always miss the first five pages of a new thread.
Yes, the Coffeehouse Three: Mamelon, Photon, and Ethersphere, in no particular order. Be glad--I'm just stuck being the Coffeehouse assistant (and along with you three one of the oldest still-active regulars here)
Well, my Star Wars game is off to a good start. Let's hope it stays that way!
I always ran very action oriented games as I was more interested in seeing how my friends developed their characters themselves. Sidebar - They USED to rely on me to do it claiming "You're the writer. You tell me my characters motivation." So as a result the only words I say that are game related during a session are either directly plot related or during battle. I want my friends to stretch themselves out a bit. And I think it has worked out for the best so far.

we're totally old fogeys or something rite. No wonder we don't get any respect, we're probably a day away from wearing Medic Alert bracelets.
It seriously is. The girl who moved in next door is an old friend of mine. She has an adorable little boy and her boyfriend is this...well, he looks like Good Charlotte threw up all over Switchfoot.
