Daron, your emoticon sentence made no sense whatsoever.
Dude...it made perfect sense.....sensimilla! ;):symg::artist:
Let me explain...the green stuff goes to the act of consumming the greenstuff. That then inturn means more greenstuff consumption which leads to paranoia. The paranoia leads to elation, then greater paranioa. That then pushes you to a feeling of "I don't care", which leads us to being tired which, of course, results in a good night's sleep.
It's sad that a grown, computer geek, man is still trying to figure out emoticons. *sigh*
I swear I think people on this site are retarded. I used to post in the competitive forum in Type 2 under the U/B Faerie sticky. I stopped because all the decks were beginning to run 6 faerie cards and 4x Bitterblossom and calling it a faerie build. After FNM I posted my build as it went undefeated. Not even a game loss, and I get slammed because I didn't have Bitterblossom or River of Tears in my build. I plead my case as to why I don't like Bitterblossom in there. I clearly state that after much testing I didn't like the life loss disadvantage it gave. I felt it left me vulnerable with an aggro deck that doesn't so a whole lot of blocking to begin with. One of the comments afterward is, "Maybe you should just test it and see how it turns out for you." I DID TEST IT, YOU STUPID ****ING MORON! I SAID I TESTED IT! I EXPLAINED WHY I DIDN'T LIKE IT! AND I'M NOT GOING TO PLAY IT JUST BECAUSE THE CARD HAS SOME ADVANTAGES!
Sorry...I had to vent a little before I go in there and remind the jackass that I already tested it.
thanks guys!

I can't wait for weather that is suitable for camping. I love it, however, there's not many good places around here to do it.
Oh come now. Some of my fondest memories involved several days of backpacking, sleet, hail, ten foot snow drifts, and 13,000ft.
Car camping has great advantages when it comes to supplies. No need for bear boxes or ultralight mentality. You can toss in a 6D Maglight or a lantern without batting an eyelash. If your taking it easy and planning on luxury theres no worry taking everything but the kitchen sink...unless you want the kitchen sink. A larger tent with an air matress and several blankets can do for sleeping. Food can be anything from tinfoil dinners to barbeque and can be cooked on an open fire or you can bring a large gas stove.
As far as prepardness goes I suppose plenty of water, fire suplies, first aid kits, and food pretty much go without saying. Fire might be an issue depending on where you go so check that out first. Most gas stoves will bypass fire restrictions and if the place allows fires but not collecting firewood you may have to consider purchasing firewood. but I sure hate paying for stuff that grows on trees yanno.
I figure thats all about self explanitory but it don't hurt for it to be said. Make sure your away from any city lights and got a clearing you can take advantage of. Stars are fun to look at sometimes. Specially if your going into Astrology.

All of this talking about camping has me really excited. I'm definitely looking forward to taking the girls camping at the end of April while Talena is out of town.
@JJ: I have to say, I can't agree w/ you about Bitterblossom. The card is singularly amazing, and becomes vastly more amazing when it is combined with Scion of Oona and/or Oona's Blackguard. I mean, generating a 3/3 flying, untargetable, makes a player discard when hit token every turn at the cost of 1 life is amazing. Bottom line, that deck being able to pay 1 life every turn for a 1/1 guy makes it vastly more powerful, those other guys just make it ridiculous. Your matchup against the Revelark deck(can't spell that one) becomes alot worse if you don't have BB, IMO.

I must say Nick that I can't agree more that Bitterblossom is a very powerful card. BUT...if you plat in the build that I have with the meta that I play against....very aggro oriented....it isn't an optimal card for me. That being said....I have no problems beating Lark combo every game. The Vendilion Clique is an amazing card that stumps the decks momentum everytime it's played. That coupled with Extirpate in the sideboard and I haven't lost a game against the dreaded combo yet.
It really is funny how people talk to you like you haven't tested all the new possibilities out there.

Brian and Jonski definitely understand where I was coming from!
Jonski, I definitely agree with you on BB. It`s a great card but just because a deck runs Faeries doesn`t automatically make it a BB deck. Just like in my burn deck. Sure, certain burn cards are very powerful, but that doesn`t mean they fit in the deck. My deck has to win turn 4 or it scoops, so 3cc creatures are just a NO. So yeah I know what you mean.
Of course I get ya bro.....the kinship of the hooka. Just a few more days until the GP and I'm completely psyched! I can't wait to be surrounded by the smelly, virginal, nerds that had so consumed my existence for the past 13 years. Actually, it's a lot of fun. If I scrub out of the tourney I'll probably go into one of the 8-man for a box tournaments being held. I think on Saturday they are doing 4-5 of those. 2 are for standard and 2-3 are for extended. It's $15 to enter and just 3 rounds of swiss. I think my Faerie deck can rule in one of those. Would love to grab a box for $15. It's funny....that has become a family pastime in the 'ol Andrews clan....open up the boosters and see what Daddy gets. My wife will usually open most of them. Then the kids split the rest. She'll get 12 and the kids will get 8 a piece. I never get to open packs anymore. THey always get me good stuff. The 2 boxes of Morningtide netted me 3x Colossus, 2x Bosk, 1x Crusher, 3x Mauler, 5x Clique, 2x Larks and a Foil Lark.
Very excited.....I even got the cards I want signed out and in a seperate box!!!

Quote from GrandPaul »
About 12 miles out, I was riding behind Carolyn when her machine suddenly dropped and she pitched over the handle bars. I hit the break and turned right so I wouldn't hit her. When everything stopped, she had jumped the creek and I was in it.
Of course, they got it out, it spent the night inside thawing, + GrandPaul was back out hooning the next day
Laika, DUX, I have just been to the post. Expect doom pressies!
Off an astronomy website I browse fairly regularly. I have 4 or 5 bookmarks I check out at least weekly, and I save any images I simply must have. I name them quirky things rather than keeping data about them in a text file or something. For example, if it's called "fiddlehead nebula 45000 light years away 2 light years across in infrared by spitzer.jpg" you can tell what it is, some useful information about it, how it was recorded, and by which telescope, spacecraft, or orbiting telescope.
Here are a couple of the Sombrero galaxy and a bonus of Venus passing between us and the sun. Boggles my frickin' mind to look at that. Makes everything feel 'real' know what I mean? Had to upload them to my site because they're just so big. The biggest one (about 3mb) is a downsize from the 7+mb file on my hard drive. If you need THAT one, you'll have to catch me on AIM to transfer it, as the file upload on my site only does <5mb files easily.
* rancored_elf is impressed with Brian's fourtwenny catch *
I used to be super into astronomy, kinda dropped back from it now but I have been meaning to buy an adaptor for my camera so I can use it on my telescope. I know of some amazing shots I'll find right now and post to show you guys... Eta Carina, which i've seen, the Hubble Ultra Deep Field (which is the most amazing image, it'll blow your mind, galaxies from when the universe was first created), and this amazing one whose name I've forgotten, dumbbell nebula.. I'll also post a picture of mine that I took years ago through my telescope which is pretty cool too :]
saturn, I took this one;
Eta Carina Nebula, biggest diffusion nebula discovered.
Also, huge bone to pick. Astronomy, not astrology. One is the study of stars, the other is superstition.

Great pictures of the galaxy. I've tried taking pictures of the night sky before and I'm simply not equipped for it. Stupid planet rotates so fast that even if I have the shutter open for a minute I still get stars streaking. Moon's a pain too. Even my moon avatar, best shot I had, is slightly blurred by movement.
Course like Charlie said the equipment to make night photos a standard is very expensive. Adaptors, telescopes, high aperature lenses, what have you. Good stuff though.

Nice pic! It really makes you wonder what else might be out there.
Boy, life has it's moments doesn't it?..
We had a customer come to pick up his vehicle yesterday. Now we have our fair share of unhappy customers, but this guy deserves a trophie. He ownes an '08 Jeep Wrangler with 2,000 miles on it that was hit by an illegal mexican with no license or insurance (pretty typical around here) back in January. He has been mad about anything and everything to do with his truck since day one. Nothing is done fast enough or good enough for him. Basicaly, he is angry about the accident so he is gonna take it out on everyone else. The repairs ended up costing a little under $10,000. Which is a big job, but certainly nothing we can't or haven't handled before. We had many part delays because it is an '08 vehicle and replacement parts have not been distributed through-out the country yet. The repairs took about 2 months. So his Jeep was ready Friday and we called him to let him know. He called back Monday afternoon and said he was going to pick it up Wendsday. Tuesday about 11am he called and said he'd be here in 30min. So we pulled it down and parked it out front. He showed up and came in the office, we gave him his receipt and a coffee mug (as we do all our customers) and thanked him for letting us repair his vehicle. Then he said there was a few things he wanted to show us that he wasn't happy with. So he and an employee of mine went out to look at the truck. They were out there for a few minutes and came back in the office. By this time the owner of the vehilce was cussing and so on. After he said his spill, he left without taking the Jeep. He had a couple of small legitiment complaints but nothing that we couldn't have adjusted while he waited. The car was ready on Fri and had been parked inside the shop over the weekend, so a slight layer of dust had settled on the black vehicle and he went ape about that as well. So he left and the same employee went to pull the Jeep inside so we could correct these miner flaws. Then, the guy drives back past our business and throws our coffee mug at the building almost hitting my employee! That is where I draw the line. Once these adjustments are made he will be called to pick up his vehicle. He will be met by the owner of the business who will not let him inside the building and will tell him to take his truck, leave and do not come back. ..F'ing prick huh?
It is people like him that make me dislike my job. I like what I do, I just hate dealing with people like him.
