and ofc, BUZZ! We miss you!! I hope you're doing well, we miss that blue font
Snoop, its good to see you again as well... Psi, good luck on the magic thing today, and you better keep up that sleep schedule, you sound like you've got it down now
Aww....stop it....yer makin' me blush.
Yeah, I'm doing pretty well, I'd say. I'm now of legal age to drink and whatnot. Not that I'd really consider it. I don't know why, but the beers I've tasted are all the same: bad. I don't really go looking or anything since I can stand to not spend my money on any more bad habits.
BuzzDX: Haha, I hadn't even though of it from that perspective. And OMG I love your banner.
I <3 Pricilla and Heath from Fire Emblem. A lot of people under-estimate the value of Pricilla too; once I turned her into a Valkyre, she kicked ass and took names. Nothing like a horse-bound healer with a Physic Staff and anima magic tomes, eh?
I'm just about to finish up my second play through of Radiant Dawn; on Part IV, Endgame 5. I can't think of enough praise for it -- it's simply my favourite of all the FE games to date.
Hehe...yeah. It must be awesome to feel that sense of power when talking down to someone.
Yeah, I think my banner is pretty snazzy too. /brag
Heath & Priscilla were my favorite couple from FE7, with Hector & Lyn coming up a very, very close second. Heath and Hector were my two favorite characters from that game. Radiant Dawn is shaping up pretty well, too. It's great to see the old characters while being excited by the prospect of new ones. I'm not terribly far into the game yet, so I'll have plenty to enjoy.
It's not the grades I have to worry about right now...it's the parents. I talked to my RA, who (lucky for me) is the student rep on the re-instatement board. According to him, 93% of kids who are asked to make this appointment do so, 83% of them are reinstated, and 69% of them graduate from the school. So if I can find a way to sneak out and have this meeting, I should get another chance.
Then again, I'm going to have to excersize a lot more caution, since I doubt they'll take reinstatement in a good way. I'll need to be prepared to fight them to stay...
If Saturday brings no wind, I expect to come back.
I hope you can get this whole mess sorted out, Charm. Keep your head up!
Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting in a couple of days. I just got an email from the pharmacy tech school I should be starting the program sometime later this week. They have to send me my text books first which will be pretty cool. Anyway I am pretty excited to start the program soon and I think its going to be awesome. Well I am probably going to get to bed in like an hour or less talk to you all soon though. Have a goodnight everyone.
That's great, Kevin. Have a good night, snickerdoodle. I'm about to turn in myself.
I'm sorry to hear how stressed you are Tanthalas. I hope it will get better soon. *hugs Craig*

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.
But the rainbow is an image of hope for many reasons, as it is a brilliant sight coming out of oftimes dismal weather.
Heh, I didn't feel the earthquake at all. Probably a bit too far away in south-east London to get much more than a mild tremble, and I can sleep through pretty much anything once I'm down for the night.
Work has been beating me into submission over the last two days. Living up fully to the old maxim that when there are fewer people in, there's always more to do. Today was absolutely hellish. Fortunately, one of my colleagues saved the day by coming in mid-afternoon after a meeting... with a cheesecake. I could have kissed her on the spot.
At least my holiday's keeping me excited. Only two days to go until I head for the exotic surroundings of Bulgaria . Still, as long as the slopes are covered I'll be happy.
Blog looks good, Danica - very professional, and the logo is great. Though I disagree about the stuff on Apple, but that's a whole other discussion :p.
Speaking of regular 'House things... I need to send a PM :sneaky:.
That's awesome about the cheesecake.. cheesecake is almost ALWAYS good And I'm glad your day looked up a bit after that, and yes, holidays are always fun to look forward to! It'll be sad not to have any activity in the P&PI while you're gone, though hopefully Ally will get off his butt to get his computer fixed sometime soon
Thanks, about the blog-- and hey, I don't write it (Yet), I only created/moderate it
I was playtesting with Sunnyside Up....its a really fun deck and I had a really good laugh.
Im comboing out and I get near the end of the combo and in response to C. Bauble my opponent plays Orims Chant, and I decked myself:-/....O well it was funny:D.
Blame me for what you will Alacar.....blame me for what you will....:sneaky:....:D.
Well, I think I am going to get something to eat, then I am going off to bed.....Thanks Danica>.>...you ruined my night prowling:p:D.
LOL... Talking about Sunnyside Up makes me want to eat eggs.. *Cough*
And, yes, i don't care if you hate me, I was concerned about you- you needed to get sleep! .....although I do miss having someone to talk to in the early mornings when I wake up b4 work Glad you had a good time w/ your friends tho
Making people blush is my job Plus you're just that awesome We don't see enough of you in here:)
Far be it from me to promote heavy drinking, but there are other alternatives to beer.. some people don't like beer, but enjoy wine, as its fruitier and somewhat more elegant
Makes sesne though about not wanting to spend more money on it. Personally I've been drinking Killian's Irish Red beer recently, its pretty good.. Wegman's had a box on sale of 12 bottles for 10 bucks, so i picked that up, which should last me for a while.. i usually have a beer or glass of wine at night... Relaxes me a lil bit after a long day at work, which yesterday wholeheartedly was. But no, I'm not an alcoholic

Glad you're doin' good, Cec! Congratulations on getting into, and finally starting the Pharmacy Tech program! I know you've wanted to do that for a long time! Will you be working as well, or will you be only going to school?? Hope you slept well!
That's great, Kevin. Have a good night, snickerdoodle. I'm about to turn in myself.
I'm sorry to hear how stressed you are Tanthalas. I hope it will get better soon. *hugs Craig*
I must echo the hug *hugs Craig* but back to Mamelon-- I am sure that everyone here (especially the older regs) will echo ME in saying WE MISS YOU! AND THE JOSHES!
* Omna15 hugs Mams!!!
I'm glad to see you're still around occasionally, and I hope you also slept well.... Please give Photon and Ether our best wishes and that we miss them.
Now as for my news this morning, I'm still at home.. irritated.. because even though I woke up at 6am, (bus arrives at 6:27am) and didn't shower, got everything ready in time (nearly everything was ready the night before, thankfully) I felt on top of it, and I was very much on track for catching the bus on time... I look outside the door for the newspaper to throw it into my bag on the way out the door, but there's no newspaper...? I'm slightly irritated and puzzled, and stare at the empty doormat for a couple seconds, then hastily run back inside to put my shoes on, make sure i had enough change for the bus, then go! Well, I peek outside the door again on my way out.. Still no newspaper (this was 6:23ish) I go down the stairs of my apartment building, open the door, and as I step outside into the blustery cold, I see my bus whiz by. At 6:25 no less! Grr!! If I hadn't been so obsessed about the newspaper, I could have caught it.. Either that or woke up earlier.. I need to do that... AND go to bed earlier. The last two nights i haven't gone to bed before 12... which is not good, as I technically shoudl be up by 5:30 at the latest..
So its 7:30am, and my boss has yet to let me know when he'll pick me up.. Edit: never mind, he just texted me telling me he'll pick me up at 8:10..
Anyway I did check my doorstep a bit ago and the newspaper was there, so yay! I got my paper! I'm happy!
Ok well, enough of my ranting, I'm going to go pack up the laptop and read the paper until 8:10 (its 7:55 now )
Hope everybody's doin' good today, and again, if you guys want to receive the blitz email about my work, please let me know, IM me today, or PM me your e-mail address or something
However, if you have already emailed me before (lookin' at you, Mike/Crimson, Ally, and Tanthalas :p) you will be receiving it anyway
Anyway, when I get to work this morning, I need ot transfer the blog over to the main (iwriteblog.com) webserver through my FTP client, and also transfer the edits to the homepage, to the FTP client as well, from the version that's sitting on my hard drive.
Before that though, there needs to be a few things done to the blog, ie, putting an About Us link to a new page, a Contact Us button, and fixing the blog email address, and maybe one or two other things.
After that, and the finalized version of the email is approved, then all the emails will be sent out!
Ok its getting to be 8:05am, I need to pack things up and chill a little tiny bit with the paper before my boss shows up:)
well, today I have to call the school to set up the grade discussion appointment, look for jobs on the east side of town, and if I have time, pick up a few more cheap cards for my extended deck. Wish me luck!
@Omna: I know that Photon left, but Ether said they were having computer troubles, so that explains his long absensce...

Hey its not like i have been posting like i used to :p... that said i dont mind being the guy who keeps the posting wheels squeaky clean
I too have been rather absent from this place lately. It's this little thing called WORK... It's driving me nuts, but I love it. I broke down (literally, crying) and talked to Jeremy yesterday about some things that needed doing, and we're getting those taken care of. One of those was fixing my bike, which is done. Another is getting bills paid, which will happen tomorrow with any luck. A third involves finding me a doctor, and I'll be going to Idai, the local medical university, on Saturday for that. That leaves cleaning my house and getting ahead in lesson plans. Get all that done, and I'll be a very, very happy gaijin. Dealing with loneliness and not having access to a medication I used to take to help me (I have ADD)... sucks.
@Mam:
*waves* You should stop back more often. It's always good to see you drop by here.
Edit: I guess I didn't mention it before here, but I do have a new blog.
Omna,....... Tsk Tsk, I dont hate anyone, especially you:p. But in all seriousness, thanks, I just got up and its the best sleep I have had in a good while.
Other than that, I think I am about to cook breakfast.....Pancakes sound good this morning.
I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.
Glad you're doin' good, Cec! Congratulations on getting into, and finally starting the Pharmacy Tech program! I know you've wanted to do that for a long time! Will you be working as well, or will you be only going to school?? Hope you slept well!
I must echo the hug *hugs Craig* but back to Mamelon-- I am sure that everyone here (especially the older regs) will echo ME in saying WE MISS YOU! AND THE JOSHES!
Yes it is finally going to be a reality which is very neat. I am still waiting on my text books for the courses so itll be probably tommorrow at the very earliest or even tonight will I be able to start.
Yeah I am going to be working almost full time as well and also going to be studying alot for the pharmacy tech program because it looks pretty intense. So I don't think I'll be able to find time to work on another legacy deck for awhile which is fine since I do that only for fun nowadays. Not playing in any legacy tournaments anymore really brings down my motivation to work on a strong legacy deck. But thats not a surprise since its been this way for almost year and a half now.
Also the second omna statement is simpy Quote for the truth.
@mr. stuff: sorry to hear that your days have been rough but I am glad your enjoying on what your doing. Makes days go by alot faster that way I think.
@Bigtime: Definitely an sincere congrats! Ok I think I am sounding a bit like Magic Mage now.
Anyway I am going to get ready for another 8 hour shift today like in 18 minutes Ill talk to you all later though. Have a good day everyone.
And an addendum to the school theme. It's very likely at this point that I'm not going to go to ultrasound program in Canada after all...due to my stupidity in handling a problem with the school.
It's been an ok time for me. Just got back from a conference with the professor of my writing class. I am going to write about the cube (as in cube draft format), and discuss what it and Magic mean to cultures across the world.
Hi, Mamelon and Buzz!
Congratulations, BigTime!
Hunter-- Look a couple of posts above your question to see how I feel. That and a bit worried about my chem midterm tomorrow.
That really sucks, Snoop I hope you can find another program soon. You need a break.
So yeah, I'm alive.. worn out, but alive, and I still have another hectic day tomorrow before my spring break starts. Whew.
Oh, I'll probably just go find a job somewhere that doesn't require any more schooling for now. After looking at my finances, it would have been impossible for me to make tuition anyhow. I could have taken out a loan, but now I probably won't have to.
He was great--I was looking forward to it, and he did a great job. But the guy who played Mr. Mushnik really stole the show for me. He's an old college buddy (D&D buddy, friend of my sister and her husband) so he was awesome.
Making people blush is my job Plus you're just that awesome We don't see enough of you in here:)

I'm glad to see you're still around occasionally, and I hope you also slept well.... Please give Photon and Ether our best wishes and that we miss them.
Well, it seems your are good at what you do!
I should really visit more. I'll try my best in the near future to so. The last 2 days have been kinda hectic, to be honest. Yesterday, right after classes, we had to rush home so I could ready for work at 4 and my brother had to take the car up to the repair shop for an earlier incident. He had inadvertently took most of the passenger-side mirror backing out of the garage. It's all fixed and despite the fact that his income tax check is more than enough to pay for it, he is still bitter. Like always.
He did finally get the laptop he's been wanting to replace his desktop one, which like 7 or so years old, give or take. At least, I shouldn't have to worry about him bugging me to play WoW on my computer anymore!
As for the alcohol, I don't really get out much, so the chance to drink are limited. I don't think it'd be too expensive if I had some every now and again, but everytime you turn around the price of everything but your paycheck goes up. /shrug
Plus, different people have different tastes, so advice on such a subject are best taken with a grain of salt. I am curious, though, as to how I'd act when drunk. No inhibitions! WOOOOO! erm....yeah....
I also see myself as the person who makes sure everyone gets back home safely. Designated driver and whatnot. What good is a party if you don't live to talk about it? A Rakdos party. Hehe.
Relaxing after a hard day's work is one of the best excuses to knock back a cold one, imo. As for wines, I can't say I've encountered many, if any (rhyme). I'll have to try some at the next opportunity.
Congrats from me as well, Cecilia! I've heard that pharmacy techs, or something similar can be pretty difficult to get into, so good luck! Knock em' dead!
Yeah, I'll echo that as well. I miss the Joshes' rants, jokes and rpg talk. Who will make Bender waffles just the way he likes them now?!
Well, I'm gonna go sneak in a little WoW, grab a glass of H20, and head to bed. G'night everyone. (Whew...that was a long one.)
Well, I've been busy as hell for the past few days. I got my tax return in and have been driving for what feels like three days straight. I have found every card shop in Virginia Beach as well.
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

It got 16th place out of 400+ people, which is amazing. Its not a pickles deck but it looks like a very interesting U/W build(Japanese build:p). What I find interesting is no Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir.
Finally the Email blitz thing is done.... Several e-mails went out from my boss yesterday/last night, and I finally e-mailed everyone on MY contact list this morning... I deleted the e-mail cuz I got a bunch of bounce-back emails, and i decided to check my sent-mail folder.. and i didn't see anything which scared me, so i went back to the trash folder and moved it back to the inbox.. stupid threads... and so hopefully people still got my e-mail.. -_- Alacar, and Tanthalas, let me know if you did, that'll make me rest easy... For the rest of you, I have it copied and pasted for your reading enjoyment Spoilered for those of you who don't care about me
I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology on November 17, 2007, and was hired by iWrite Marketing in January, specifically by Mr. Graeme Roberts, who I had the pleasure to meet through Therese Hannigan, a professor at RIT. Connections are a truly great thing! The growth of a friendship with the potential of a little free-lance work, turned into a full-time job with iWrite Marketing, a marketing company that does great things for businesses, organizations, and universities in the tech, biotech, medicine and entrepreneurship fields! I have been lucky to have done so many things in just a little over a month! (such as: Developing our blog - iwriteblog.com - using WordPress, HTML and PHP, writing articles, performing intensive research, becoming an expert at Social Media Marketing, the list goes on!)
I am especially interested in expanding our market to the Deaf community, being Deaf myself, and hope that the thought of that excites you as much as it does me! Deaf or not, contact me if you can think of anyone who might benefit from what we do!
Would you be able to take a moment and read the below e-mail from Graeme explaining, "straight from the horse's mouth" what iWrite Marketing is all about? I would like to sincerely thank all of you for your support through the years, and hope that I can do the same in any way possible! Please feel free to email me here, or at the email address below!
Wishing you the very best and thanking you,

From Graeme Roberts - President of iWrite Marketing
I have been in business for nine years now, but iWrite Marketing feels like a new startup. In many ways it is. This one-man company has become a team of three and we have moved into a great new office at Rochester Institute of Technology's Business Incubator, with lots of interesting startup companies, including our dynamite design partner, Dumbwaiter Design. They do superb work on the Web, in motion graphics, and print and they are right next door!
It's funny how paying the rent and meeting payroll makes a person focus on getting new business. Please tell your friends about us. We would also appreciate your ideas and advice about the services we offer and marketing and communication needs that you think we should address.
Here's why I am so excited about the next chapter of our business's growth:
NEW PEOPLE
Craig Watkins is our new Vice President for Business Development. He is a writer, marketer, and publishing expert and an invaluable advisor. Craig has the rare ability to think at the big picture strategic level, while operating tactically with attention to the smallest detail. As a professional extrovert, a teacher, and a fluent Chinese speaker, he is perfectly fitted to business development.
Our new Marketing Specialist, Danica Rice , recently graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology, with a BS in Professional and Technical Communications. She brings fresh ideas and enthusiasm to everything she does, from research, writing and editing to social networking campaigns, and shares Craig 's love of people and social events. Danica is a powerful advocate for the Deaf and Deaf Culture, and is fluent in American Sign Language.
NEW WEB SITE
Our new web site distills many years of marketing experience and wisdom into a coherent, useful body of knowledge. Clients tell us that it provides answers to many marketing questions and a clear understanding of how we work with them.
We have recently started blogging about marketing, at: iwriteblog.com
We aim to provide news you can use, with thoughtful analysis of marketing and technology trends, and lots of links to original ideas in the media and other thought-leading blogs.
RENEWED MISSION
iWrite Marketing helps organizations develop and tell their stories. We work with businesses in technology, manufacturing, biotechnology, and medicine, and with research universities. We combine strategic marketing vision with mastery of marketing tools, and a shared vocation for writing. We focus on what we do best, and bring in expert partners for their special talent.
We look forward to sharing our experiences with you as we continue to grow, and hope you will also share yours with us.
Best regards,
Graeme Roberts

In summary, essentially, this is an email about what I do in my new job, how we're looking for business, and basically if you feel like we can help you or anyone you know, to contact us... We're a small marketing company in the Rochester area, but we've also worked internationally (Australia!) and so, you international and longdistance folks shouldn't dismiss it immediately
and here I thought things couldn't get much worse...
I tried to schedule my reinstatement appointment for school, only to find out the only available slot they have is Monday at 8 AM. It's an hour away, and I have no way of getting there. so now I'll have to talk to the parents and try to get something worked out.
Job hunting has been lackluster at best, today I'm hitting up the town's Gasoline Alley and Eat Street, both as pretty much last resorts if nothing else pans out (and according to the people I've talked to, something should...)I just hope I can get something, because my parents have set the rent high: I only have enough for 2 months, meaning I need a job by then or else...
well, time to hit the road... >_>

Ok its getting to be 8:05am, I need to pack things up and chill a little tiny bit with the paper before my boss shows up:)
Have a good day folks!!!

Dealing with loneliness and not having access to a medication I used to take to help me (I have ADD)... sucks.
@Mam:
*waves* You should stop back more often. It's always good to see you drop by here.
Edit: I guess I didn't mention it before here, but I do have a new blog.
Good Morning Coffeelings!
Omna,....... Tsk Tsk, I dont hate anyone, especially you:p. But in all seriousness, thanks, I just got up and its the best sleep I have had in a good while.
Other than that, I think I am about to cook breakfast.....Pancakes sound good this morning.
Hi everyone; hope your Thursday is going well so far.
Spanish class was very peaceful; the troublemakers decided to skip today.
Too bad for them since we have a Test on Tuesday and they're going to be ill-prepared. Heh.

Then I have to look forward to transfering and going somewhere else for two years. Oh well, at least it's something.:p
Thanks mamelon and have a good day today.
Yes sorry to hear that your all stressed out tanthalas and i hope something postive comes your way soon. *hugs*
Love,
Cecilia
I'm at work waiting for a turn to get on the database computer. Silly sonographers!

Hi, Mamelon and Buzz!
Congratulations, BigTime!
Hunter-- Look a couple of posts above your question to see how I feel. That and a bit worried about my chem midterm tomorrow.
Good luck, Charm_Master.
Oh, I'll probably just go find a job somewhere that doesn't require any more schooling for now. After looking at my finances, it would have been impossible for me to make tuition anyhow. I could have taken out a loan, but now I probably won't have to.
I sure could use a break, though.
I wonder where you got that line...:p
Hi Mams! Missed ya! How are you?:)
Gudluck on that midterm. iLL pray you'll do great.
Oh well I think Id just drop by to say hi. Gotta go to school. See ya later!

Hey AoK, Have you seen the U/W control deck that made top 16 in the SCG 5k Tournament? If not, here it is:
4 Mind Stone
Creatures
1 Draining Whelk
3 Guile
2 Sower Of Temptation
Enchantments
2 Oblivion Ring
Instants
4 Cryptic Command
2 Remove Soul
4 Rune Snag
Legendary Creatures
1 Venser, Shaper Savant
Snow Artifacts
2 Coldsteel Heart
4 Ancestral Vision
1 Austere Command
2 Tidings
4 Wrath Of God
Basic Snow Lands
10 Snow-covered Island
4 Snow-covered Plains
Lands
4 Adarkar Wastes
2 Calciform Pools
2 Urza's Factory
Snow Lands
2 Boreal Shelf
3 Windborn Muse
3 Teferi's Moat
2 Condemn
3 Hail Of Arrows
4 Trickbind

See it at: iwritemarketing.com
NEW BLOG
We have recently started blogging about marketing, at: iwriteblog.com
We aim to provide news you can use, with thoughtful analysis of marketing and technology trends, and lots of links to original ideas in the media and other thought-leading blogs.
RENEWED MISSION
iWrite Marketing helps organizations develop and tell their stories. We work with businesses in technology, manufacturing, biotechnology, and medicine, and with research universities.
Lemme know what you guys think.
