Are we talking about the cafe with Crosplayers?? i remember there being one but i cant remember what area (This is what i learn from visiting Kotaku :p).
Lol on the nurse issue... i wont comment further because i think the topic is NSFW
Don't think so. Matsue is a big, old castle somewhere around here, and I think they have a spa or something there as well. My otaku class (HS Seniors, Mondays at 9:15, 20mins) told me about it. Gawd, I love that class. I could talk to them for hours, and sadly I only get twenty minutes with them once a week.
LOL at nurses... for a brief moment I thought you had typed "NurSes FtW". Then I realized it was "Not Suitable For Work". Awww.
And actually, I'm at a loss for what to do with said nurses. They're in their late twenties, I think, but they haven't had English since Highschool. I'm the most uncomfortable working with very low level beginners, and I need to fill out two hours with them. I hope that I will be able to run everything smoothly and keep them entertained and not frustrated. I'm going to have a very busy day tomorrow. *note - no taking the aforementioned out of context - please, and thank you*
What else... I saw part of one of the Death Note Live-Action movies on TV the other night. They keep having commercials for "L: Change the World" on. That's about it as far as TV. I have been very busy with classes lately and not had time to watch it. I've been watching Ayashi no Ceres, an anime that I brought with me, whenever I can find spare time.
I'll check in later in the week, and maybe update with the blogs I keep promising. See ya soon, people. Don't forget to check out my new pictures.

My reasoning for not liking the Yankees is actually quite simple, I dont like the fact that they buy their talent unlike over teams, and they still cannot win(At least anymore, guess the old saying is right, Money cant buy everything:p:D)
and seeing as I like my toes, I gotta go:p
*Runs and hides from Strongbad*
Yeah, I understand what you're saying, but I think it was actually when the Yankees started buying players like they have been that they started sucking. When they were dominating in the 90s, they had a homegrown team, and it really had success because of the team interactions and how well they all went together. I think now we are starting to go back to that kind of team. We have started to pick up a lot more young prospects and our team is really looking like it did 10 years ago.
Plus, the Red Sox aren't so poor themselves. Sure, they don't have as much $$ as the Yankees, but they're pretty damn rich, and they do buy players too.
@Omna: It really saddens me that you have been corrupted so deeply. Remember, Jesus loves you even though you're a Boston fan; you just have to repent for your sins :p. Just know that when the Apocalypse comes, Boston's going to be the first one to go.
*falls out of wheelchair* I can't believe you guys...I grew up listening to Tom Petty and all that. *picks up dentures, dusts off, puts back in mouth*
@Superbowl: Glad to see NY take the big one. Looks like pride cometh before a fall, although some may say the perfect season was made up of lies and referee favoritism.
Honestly, Snoop--I like Tom Petty! I feel old, and I'm not even 21. You kids and your loud music..
Mr. Stuff, Hallo! Good to hear from you. Have fun with the nurses, and best of luck!
If ya'll are wondering why I'm here, it's because both of my classes were cancelled, and I caught my ride before it was too far away. Yay for unexpected days off!
*falls out of wheelchair* I can't believe you guys...I grew up listening to Tom Petty and all that. *picks up dentures, dusts off, puts back in mouth*
The weird thing is I think Tom Petty is probably most famous for different songs depending upon when you were born. Like for me and other I talk to, he's much more famous for "Free Fallin'" and "Last Dance with Mary Jane" than he is for "Runnin' Down a Dream." But that may just be my youngin' bum.

When you use the words "entertained" and "frustrated" it's hard not to take that stuff out of context. But seriously, it's a good thing you have a professional responsibility not to get too distracted from the teaching. Or at least something that resembles professional responsibility.
But don't let that stop you from taking pictures of them for your album...
Hello everyone just wanted to stop by and say hello. Looks like the coffeehouse is very slow without me and also the great three(photon, mamelon, and ethersphere).
Also a well wishing that your interview goes great bigtime!
Yeah I haven't really started the pharmacy program yet but Ill still post here whenever I can though. Its good to see the house is still up and running though.
By the way here is a 4c landstill list that beat threshold, goblins, dragon stompy, and ichorid bridge in a legacy tournament in germany and then proceed to win the tournament.
So, I get to the interview, which BTW was an interview for a casino job, and they tell me my origional spot was filled. They had me applying for a soft count job, essentially just taking money out of machines and counting it. I show up and they tell me the job they were going to interview for had been filled. WTF? This is after they cancelled my first appointment and automatically rescheduled me almost without telling me. They tell me I can apply for either food services, which I already work in, Janitorial, which I really don't want to do, or I can be put on a hold list and wait for someone to quit/get fired. I am currently on hold. Seriously, I'll just go to the new Walgreens. That's probably smarter anyway.

Yeah, I hope everything works out in the end. I am just not getting enough from my current job. It sucks, cause I love my job, but I am almost forced out the door due to low wages.
Today has generally been a bad day. I was extremely depressed by my Philosophy class. No, it wasen't because I cannot comprehend it or anything, but rather the hopelessness of mankind and all that jazz. It was a very stimulating class period, but depressing as a whole.
Then I found out that there are still people, even two years after high school, that judge you based on who you were in high school. That's the really depressing thing. People are so superficial, and they need to learn to get to know someone deeper than just what they see.
Ok, venting over. Now I'm hungry.

BigTime, a little secret.. even fourty years after high school, people will still judge you based on who you were in high school. There's no time limit.
Just a note, Cecelia-- The CoffeeHouse will never die just because you and Mamelon/Photon/Ethersphere are gone. You weren't here the other night and many of us were posting... Granted, yes, sometimes it is slow, but it doesn't stop and go when the four of you are around. I would like to think that the CoffeeHouse isn't reliant on any particular individual to remain alive.
I'm not trying to sound *****y here, but I strongly believe that no matter who is around, the CoffeeHouse won't die, as long as the original goal, and the first post is understood and followed... I certainly am not going anywhere!! The CoffeeHouse is nearly two years old, this April!
My mini-tirade aside, congratulations on the job interview... though I am sorry about your being let down.. Hopefully you can still find something that fits what your deepest desires are...
Howdy Kraj, good to see you! *waves*
Alacar, I never took a philosophy class, but always wanted to.. I love learning about philosophy but never quite had the chance.
I just finally figured out how to do RSS Feeds and such... I'm happy, cuz now I can organize the sites I'd like to visit more frequently!!

As irritating as that is, interestingly people tend not the change all that much. Some certainly do, but most don't. So, it's kind of a safe assumption.

KK-- Wow. You never did seem like the kind of guy that has depression.
Just wanted to comment on this, but couldn't find the original post.
So, in your opinion, what does the "kind of guy that has depression" look like? It can look like just about anyone, or anything.
This is the reason why 1 in 5 people in North America is currently suffering from depression at any given time, 1 in 3 people experience clinically significant depression in their lives, but only a third of those ever get diagnosed and even fewer get treated.
Depression looks like about every fifth person you know; like you and me, to be frank. It's all around us, hiding behind tired, forced smiles and frenetic busy work and even manic behavior. (What goes up, must come down.)
It is considered more debilitating than most chronic medical conditions: arthritis, diabetes, heart pains - they got nothing on the big D. Only cancer and heart failure were found to be more disabling and life-limiting than major depression in a Yale study from the 90's. It accounts for at least half of all family practice office visits in some manifestation or another: sleep problems, chronic pain, obesity/overeating, weight loss/appetite loss/failure to thrive in the elderly, cognitive changes/memory problems, childhood conduct and behavior problems, substance abuse, even suicidal thoughts/behavior are ALL manifestations of, or directly caused by depression. In turn, depression can be the manifestation of yet another larger problem: neurological damage, struggling with mild autism/Aspergers syndrome, struggling with ADHD, even thyroid problems.
It can shorten your life. Suicide and alcoholism are the obvious ways, but it can also worsen outcomes in everything from cancer to heart disease to frail elderly people.
So what does it look like? Look in the mirror. You have a third chance of being depressed in your lifetime. Let's hope for all our sakes the stigma goes away and insurance companies learn the value in offering the same level of treatment for mental health as they do for less disabling "real" illnesses.
And by the way, why does nobody know how to spell "cappuccino" correctly?
This is a CoffeeHouse for Gods sake, people
